Brilliant first time in a campervan. The van was spotless and Martin was a great guy to deal with. We had a lovely time exploring the lovely Lake District and wild swimming. The van was easy to drive and amazing on fuel! We will definitely hire it again in the future! Thank you

The Horsebox

ChelseaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
It was exactly what I needed! It was peaceful with no signal and stunning surroundings. I sat out in the evening and looked at the stars because the only light you see of an evening is from the lodge over the lake so its a clear view of the sky. Amanda and Berbs where great and even lit the fire for my arrival. The staff at the lodge where also very welcoming and friendly!

Annie's Horse Wagon

LisaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The wagon was tastefully decorated with plenty of heating. The seating area was lovely along with the hot tub. We thought it was a lovely touch that Claire the host left milk, bread, butter, bacon and eggs. There was bread and coffee provided along with some biscuits. We would love to visit again and would recommend this to our friends and family. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

Grouse - Safari Tent - Dale2Swale Glamping

JennyRating, 5 stars31 months ago
We had a great stay. Chris was very welcoming and on hand if we needed anything. The location was idyllic...we arrived to see hares and partridges in the field. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed a BBQ and watching the sunset. Tent was very comfortable. Our girls (10, 7) loved the cabin bed and said they had the best time! Thank you to Chris. We hope to be back again.

Peaceful & scenic,in the heart of the Pennines

BethRating, 5 stars29 months ago
Thank you so much to Gary and family for a perfect stay, we wanted something different for my best friends birthday and it was so lovely! Gary was so helpful from the beginning, even put out banners and prosecco for when we arrived, we loved being surrounded by the animals and the view from the adorable caravan was so relaxing. So much thought and care was put into every single aspect of our stay and we will definitely recommend to our friends and family, we hope to come back at some point soon :)

Tilly our B&B retro caravan.

FionaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
an absolutely beautiful little caravan, lots of thoughtful details in a private area on their land. Karen was a fantastic host, she had thought of everything before we got there, the heater was on, milk, tea and coffee available, adding to that instantly homely feeling. She had even advised ahead of arrival about activities on over the weekend we may like. Breakfast in the morning was out of this world, fresh local produce, beautifully prepared. An absolutely wonderful little stay, will definitely return, beautiful place, beautiful peoples.

Yellow Rattle camping pod

SusanneRating, 5 stars16 months ago
We stayed only one night, but it was a Saturday night and we took advantage of eating in the barn, having a beer and listening to music. The atmosphere was brilliant. Everyone was friendly, children were milling about and the food was very good. We could pre-oder breakfast which was delivered to our pod. We will certainly go there again.

Howgills Hideaway Bell Tent

JessicaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Once again Howgills hideaway has not failed to amaze. This is our happy place, where we reset and forget about the hussle and bussle of life for a minute. Back to nature, with the fields for the children to run until their hearts are content. While us adult sit back with a brew in hand, while pondering out upon the breathtaking views with nothing but the sound of nature and giggles of children making new friends away from technologies. There are beautiful walks for the family and pooches to take in the magnificent surroundings of rolling hills. When evening falls and its time to get cozy! The fire gets lit and the darkness creeps in. Make sure you look up at the sky ( hoping you have a clear night) the stars will take your breath away. The accommodation is perfect everytime. Always clean, bed are comfy, wash facilities are amazing, they even have a shower for the dogs if they get a bit mucky on their adventures. I could go on forever but the conclusion is we love this place so much❤

Had a lovely bank holiday stay, we had a smooth arrival, and we were welcomed by Fiona. Lovely space to stay, loved the hot tub, and daughter loved toasting marshmallows on the fire pit, and exploring the river. Great place to have some quality family time. Thank-you.

Bluebell Wood Glamping

JaneRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Our stay as a family of 4 was fabulous. Heather was very welcoming and friendly and gave clear instructions on where to meet on arrival and how to get in touch. The tent was spacious, well laid out, smelled amazing and very comfortable. There was lots of space for our stuff and extra blankets etc if needed. We were able to try the milk from the farm and Heather was very kind to the kids to let them see the cows at the farm - the highlight of the holiday for them! The BBQ, fire pit and pizza oven were all spotless. We were treated to nesting buzzard displays and saw loads of wildlife round the site. A great base for families visiting Beamish museum as we did. I’d recommend definitely taking a gas stove as we did for hot water for washing and dishes. Thanks for a great stay.
