Lovely caravan is a very quiet and peaceful location. Everything was clean and the condition of the caravan was immaculate. The hot tub was nice to sit and look over the loch and gaze at the stars at night. Plenty of room to sunbath if you want. Sky TV and books are available, as well as Wi-Fi, but can get busy at times. Using your mobile can be doggy at times due to being in a remote location but hey, good excuse to switch it off. There are the various sporty things to do if you want. Pub and restaurant on site, was being renovated when we were there, but still opened at night. Thank you Jozef and Brendan for a lovely stay.

Our stay at Dunskey Estate was perfect. The cottage is quirky, decorated in a really interesting style which felt really homely. The grounds provided beach access, great walks and fishing at the loch. A great place to stay to explore Portpatrick and surrounding area. The hosts were really responsive too. We will definitely be back to visit.

A wonderful place to stay for a family holiday of 4 generations. The house was spotlessly clean, spacious, had comfy beds and 2 large beautiful bathrooms. The enclosed garden was a perfect place for my 2 year old grandson to explore while my mum could sit and relax. Location was beautiful with a short walk to the harbour, Southern Upland Way and local play park. Katie was welcoming and super responsive getting a travel cot to the property on the first day after me forgetting to add it in the booking. Hope to be back!

Heather’s Pods and hospitality are unmatched! The pods had everything we needed and more, they were clean and cosy and felt right at home! Hot tub was lovely and had a beautiful view. The area is a gorgeous place also. Perfect place to relax and will definitely be back! ☺️

What a wonderful, relaxing week in the most perfect cottage. Location was perfect for walks straight from the house as well as local restaurants. The cottage was so beautifully decorated with absolute everything we could possibly need. The sun lounge and walled garden was an extra bonus. We will definitely be back.

A really lovely accomodation that met our needs. Spacious caravan that easily accomodared 2 adults, 3 teenagers and 2 dogs. We felt at home there and it was really well equipped. The site where it is situated is idyllic and beautiful with lovely walks and beaches. We qould love to return for a longer stay to explore more of this beautiful piece of Scotland. This is one of the best holiday homes we have been in. It is spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable and very well equipped. There is a big outdoor area for the humans to take advantage of during warm weather and for the dogs to enjoy at all times - it’s so well enclosed there was no chance of our terriers escaping. Plenty places to walk the dogs in the surrounding area. The owners are extremely welcoming and helpful and have thought of everything to make this a perfect holiday destination. We hope to return.

We had a fantastic time at Rockliffe, helped by sunshine all day long for a week! The hosts, Julian and Theo were very friendly and helpful, they even showed us around their beautiful garden! The bungalow is fabulous, clearly been recently renovated, with excellent facilities, cooker, washing machine, plenty of hot water etc. The beds were very comfortable. There is an outside covered area at the back of the bungalow, completely safe and ideal for leaving bikes, shoes etc. There is a large garden to use, with table for al fresco dining, and lovely lawn with garden chairs, mainly for sun bathing for us! The beach is a short walk away, and it was great to cool off after long hot days! Dave

This is a super place to stay. We received a warm welcome from Julie’s daughter on arrival. There was a box of goodies on entry to the house including biscuits, scones, cakes, and fizz. We were also delivered more scones and jam on the eve of our departure and they were delicious. The house has all you need and is modern and well equipped. The huge bed was extremely comfortable (and I’m very fussy about mattresses)! Lots to do in the local area and further afield if desired. Superb hosts with warm friendly touches and communication. We will definitely return. Thank you ☺️

Couldn’t recommend enough. We stayed for a weekend, 5 adults and 5 kids. The house is well equipped and has modern kitchen and bedrooms. All the instructions for when you arrive are really easy with no problems. Definitely would stay again.

This beautiful place was everything we hoped it would be. A stunning location. So peaceful. We enjoyed all the wildlife, the local beaches & feeding the badgers at night. The place was well equipped, super comfy beds, nice showers & everything we needed for a lovely stay, it felt like a home from home. Leigh & Tom were very quick to respond to anything & gave us a really good guide on what to see & do. We can't wait to go back. We had glorious sunshine which always helps but we are certain that we would have had an amazing time with or without the weather!

We loved our stay. The house (Byre) is beautiful and far more spacious than photos give credit for. Added bonus for us, wheelchair accessable from patio doors into kitchen/dinning/lounge area. Wheelchair accessible into downstairs bathroom/shower and bedroom. There is a shower stool in cupboard next to bathroom. The upstairs landing area has a cosy couch/snug between bedrooms and upstairs toilet/Shower room. Beautiful scenory surrounding Cottages and we all completely felt at home and relaxed instantly. House very clean and fresh. Stranraer in walking distance with pavement at road end of cottages. Lovely walking options around cottages. Kitchen comes very well equipped and decent sized fridge freezer. We look forward to returning.

We had such a wonderful time during our stay at Little Peru. Robin was incredibly thoughtful and had taken care of every little detail, which made our experience even more special. The highlight of our holiday was, without a doubt, the alpaca trekking. Spending time with Javier, Diego, and Santiago was truly unforgettable—they were so gentle and full of personality. We absolutely fell in love with them! Our children had a fantastic time and enjoyed every moment of the experience. It was not only fun but also surprisingly calming and therapeutic—something we’ll all remember for a long time. The pod itself was perfect for our family of four—spacious, cozy, and very well equipped. We felt right at home. We’d love to return again in the future and would highly recommend Little Peru to anyone looking for a unique and heartwarming getaway.

Wonderful stay at the burrow. Brilliant for kids with the outdoor space, treehouse, trampoline and hot tub. The hot tub area was very private, with lovely wildlife to watch and listen to - owls, bats, birds. you also get an excellent view of the stars on a clear night, so it’s 5 stars from us!
