Jane is a great host and her cat Esme steals the show! I felt very comfortable in that little roses room. And her attic room?! Incredible! What a place to be! I highly recommend booking that for yourself when in doubt :) Very quiet but central location. Loved it!

Was a great stay and great location to gatwick. Richard and his wife was so welcoming, room is lovely, very clean. House is amazing with log fire and all the old beams. The views are amazing, would never know so close to gatwick. Had a lovely meal in the pub, which was 5 minute walk. poppadoms and dips were best ive ever had. Richard was very kind to take us to airport and pick us up for very small fee. Let us leave our car for again a small fee. Will def be back and highely recommend people to stay. Our 1st time using airbnb and wont be our last.

Lovely house, we stayed for a wedding which was local to johns house. John was a great host and the breakfast in the morning was beautiful! Thank you very much for making our stay so pleasurable.

Only staying in Kemsing for one night, Sonja’s home was just ideal. I came by train so it was a 20 min walk along the back roads & Sonja’s directions were spot on. Very welcoming on arrival, with fresh hot cups of tea a friendly chat. A healthy breakfast the following morning after a superbly peaceful sleep. Thank you Sonja.

The house is incredible! It's unique and beautiful, it has stories upon stories to tell and it feels like a fairytale at times, something straight out of a movie. The location is great, close to everything in the city centre, quiet at night and a safe neighbourhood! But the main reason this place was so good is, for sure, Andrew - the host - and his shadow angel, little Tilly! Andrew is friendly, helpful and very proactive. He made me feel at home the moment I stepped into his house and I've never felt so welcomed in a place. I usually have a hard time falling asleep while travelling, but my bedroom was so clean, warm, comfortable and soft that, as soon as my head hit the pillow at night, I would rest immediately. It was my first time in the UK, and it was such an incredible experience that I am planning on going back asap! A million times worth the stay. It's beautiful and comforting, like a nice cup of tea in winter, or a refreshing drink during summer. Thank you, Andrew and Tilly!

James was a fantastic host when my Dad stayed with him over Christmas in his beautiful house in central Cuckfield. The only thing to flag in case it is an issue is that the stairs up to the bedrooms are steep, which is entirely in keeping with the very characterful house, but the less mobile guests may find them a challenge! James could not have done more to ensure my Dad had a comfortable stay and was made to feel very welcome - we will definitely be back!!

Jill was lovely and made us feel right at home. It was a great stop-over while walking the south downs way . Thanks for going out of your way to do sandwiches for lunch

Perfect from start to finish. Incredibly responsive messaging and helpful prior to booking. Flexible check in, nice touch having water left for us after a night out! Lovely breakfast and great hosts. Kirstine is a great host and the house was cosy and warm, with a nicely decorated room to stay in.

Karen is a super host. We had a very warm welcome, she was kind and affectionate with us giving us support and confidence in all the difficulties of the trip, as well as very accurate information regarding public transport, restaurants, visiting places, etc. so it was lucky to meet her on this visit to London. We felt right in our own family. The house is located in an area remote enough to be quiet and close enough to downtown that you can access daily visits in a relaxed way. It is very cozy, with very hot heating and carpeted floor, which made it very comfortable. The construction is of high quality with a staircase and wooden doors, beaded windows with stained glass windows and a very stylish facade. The interior decoration was equally well cared for and refined. The bus stop is located about 120 m from the house. Highly recommended for quality and price. Includes basic breakfast.

Margaret was brilliant from booking to staying.we booked for my father in law so we had a fair few questions of which margaret was very helpful. The room was clean and of a good size, he slept well for the duration of his stay and would highly recommend ..thanks margaret, we will book again for his next visit.

The location was perfect for our needs and the room was lovely with all the amenities we could wish for. It was spotlessly clean and felt like a home-from-home. Breakfast was good, with a selection that included  3 types of cereal, a choice of yoghurts and croissants with jam or cheese and ham. Our host, Bev was very welcoming and we were given a key, which made everything easier. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return. We would highly recommend.

I had the most relaxing and wonderful stay! The countryside, the cosy homely house, the fresh bread and honey from their hive, the comfy bed, the warm welcome, the birdsong…. and the kittens, together create a home from home feeling. This is the perfect stay for peace, relaxation and connection with nature. Cannot recommend this host enough!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed with Mark. lovely place, Mark is very welcoming. The room we had was large, comfy bed and lovely shower. Toiletries provided with nice big towels. Breakfast is cereal and toast which is included in the price. The room is up several flights of stairs, and you have a dedicated bathroom for your sole use. Would recommend Mark's place as he is a lovely host, very friendly. The place is up a bit of a slope if travelling by bus, so if you have mobility issues, maybe not for you, but we always use Mark's place when visiting Brighton as he is a lovely person and will make you feel welcome.

Sarah is the perfect hostess, friendly, funny, always helpful with great tips for things to do in the area. We immediately felt so warmly welcome in her cute house, the rooms were cosy and the beds comfortable. She prepared an excellent breakfast with a view into the wonderful garden. We have had a fantastic stay and can highly recommend it. Many thanks dear Sarah!

The room was spacious and comfortable, just like description, bright and airy thanks to large bay window, especially made homely with lots of plants and cushions, the bed was luxurious, the TV screen gigantic and as a bonus, there was a large container of filtered water. The shared spaces were clean and tidy. And the host friendly and helpful! thanks Dan for providing great accommodation 😊

Review This is a 5* air b n b - pictures don’t do it justice. It’s spotlessly clean with a range of high quality complimentary breakfast items and tea/coffee/fresh milk. Utility room has small kitchenette with utensils, microwave and mini fridge. Rooms has iron and travel hairdryer and Mattress was super comfy. En suite is accessed through separate door across a small hallway so overall feels very spacious. Tamila was very responsive. Would highly recommend and access to garden is bonus!

Kristina is a lovely, friendly, helpful host. The room is great and the en-suite bathroom is clean, with a great shower. It was 2 cold and snowy nights, but Kristina provided a portable heater and electric blanket to add to the central heating. Also a welcome bonus to have breakfast provided. Great stay and I hope it's available again in future.

Really friendly hosts, a lovely clean and cosy room. Small space but perfect for 2 on a short stay. Lovely patio window, we could sit in bed and watch the blackbirds and wrens popping about the patio garden. Everything you could need…coffee, tea, biscuits and a continental breakfast. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A lovely, characterful home and an ideal base from which to explore Hartfield and Winnie-the-Pooh country. The bedroom was large and clean, with a huge and very comfortable bed. Val was a friendly and welcoming host. We would thoroughly recommend this place and we would be very happy to stay there again.
