Great accommodation with everything needed for a family stay. Kitchen is well equipped with the addition of new air fryer. 1 bedroom is on the 3rd floor with en suite, 3 bedrooms and family bathroom on 2nd floor and there is also a utility with washing machine/WC on the ground level. House was spotlessly clean from top to bottom and complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee were very much appreciated. Located near to central Oxford, in a friendly cul de sac, neighbour very helpful with advice about travel. We drove to the Redcliffe park and ride and travelled in to see the sights. Check in was easy via coded gate/keysafe and communication with host was effortless. Host sent message to check all was well with our stay which was very thoughtful. Hope future guests enjoy their stay as much as we did!

Great location- close to Oxford but in pretty woodland with great walks nearby. House is lovely with well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds and furnishings. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

We spent a wonderful month as a family in this lovely house! It is well located, clean, really well furnished and equipped with everything we needed. It was easy to park in front of the house and the neighbourhood is nice and quiet. We appreciated the perfect communication with our hosts that are always available to answer any question or concern. We also thank them for welcoming our dog, she had a great time too! We wouldn't hesitate to come back!

We've just spent Christmas here and were not disappointed. Plenty of space for us all, rooms were very nice, house was lovely and clean. Just an FYI that although the couches were comfy, they were very low so our relatives over 70 really struggled to get up and down from them, didn't stop me giving 5 stars though and would definitely stay again. Garden was large and enclosed so perfect for our dog and there is a park a few mins walk away where she could have a good run around in. Shops and pubs within 10 mins walk too and host was extremely good at communicating. Thanks Carole for a lovely stay!

Monika's property is superb. It was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. The garden is a serene oasis, perfect for morning coffee. Impressed by the attention to detail! Monika stocked the kitchen with essentials, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Her propery is located in the heart of Headington, perfect for moving around Oxford. Monika was attentive and made sure everything was in order for our arrival.

This a brilliant air BnB for families, we loved the homely feel, it was warm, plenty of space for everyone and great facilities. I loved cooking in the kitchen with everyone sat around the island. The pool was warm as described and kids loved it. Thank you for a wonderful break over New Year

We wanted somewhere to stay as a family to celebrate a special birthday which falls on Christmas Day and this was perfect in every way. The house is really, really lovely with plenty of space to enjoy spending time together in really comfortable and well-equipped surroundings - exactly as in the photos with lots of additional, thoughtful touches not even mentioned in the description. Caroline is a fantastic communicator and her instructions and local guide are really well written so we had everything we needed to help us enjoy our stay. Any questions we did have were responded to almost instantly. Finally, Hook Norton (or Hooky as we now know it!) is a lovely, picturesque village and there are local shops and pubs within a short walk so it's ideal if you don't want to drive anywhere. We can thoroughly recommend the brewery tour and the pub quiz at the Pear Tree Inn, both a convenient stroll home after a couple of pints of Hooky!

We had a wonderful stay over the New Year’s Eve period. The property was exactly as described, and Carina was so friendly, proactive, and quick to respond in all our communications. The area is absolutely beautiful, even in the heart of winter, and it’s conveniently close to transportation into London. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway in a charming little property, I highly recommend this place!

Fantastic cottage. Felt very luxurious and private. Nicky made sure we had everything we needed. the spot felt very private and had great views. We especially enjoyed The Bull Pub which was recommended.

We spent two weeks, around Christmas and New Years Eve, in the lovely, cosy cottage and had a great time! The charming interiour, the Christmas decorations and the log fires made this a perfect Christmas setting. Rachel is a kind and helpful host, contact with her went smooth. We had a marvellous holiday and would love to go back sometime!

We were a family party with ages from 5 to 75 . Lots for everyone to do ( swimming , tennis, billiards/snooker & beautiful walks all there) There was enough space both inside the wonderfully converted barn and outside in the extensive grounds to enjoy each others company without being overcrowded. Thanks Sarah for enabling a lovely weekend .

We stayed for a couple of nights close to Christmas, wonderful stay in this beautiful period home, with the village looking very pretty and festive. Having use of a sauna and pool, while it was frosty outside; made our stay particularly enjoyable!

Nick’s place was perfect for our needs. It was very easy to get into Oxford as the park and ride was very close. We had our dog with us and there is a field are a very short walk away so walking her was very easy. The house was very well equipped and warm. Communication was excellent. The only criticism we had was that the beds were smaller than we are used to and the pillows and mattresses uncomfortable , that’s obviously a matter of personal preference. The blinds in the main bedroom don’t shut out the light very well. However, apart from that all was good. Thanks Nick.

Our stay here was everything we wanted. The accommodation was as described - the flat has everything you need for a few weeks or longer. The hosts very very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us to explore the area. It’s also very dog friendly which is a bonus!

Me and my partner absolutely loved it here, the Shepards hut was cosy and very clean. It’s in a lovely location with nice walks, Rachel and everyone we spoke to on the farm was very nice and even let us go see the horses. Will definitely stay here again.

Thank you Emma for a lovely relaxing stay. The house was gorgeous, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and pristine. Quality bed and linens were really comfortable. It’s in a beautiful garden in a peaceful rural location but only a 15 min drive into Oxford. We really enjoyed our stay and are considering visiting next year again!

This is the second time we stay at Nick’s place, and if we’ll visit Oxford again, I sure hope it will be available for the third time.

The Coach House is tastefully decorated and modern and set in the beautiful countryside. Penelope is a great host and very responsive and helpful. The Half Moon pub in Cuxham is only a few minutes walk away and they were very welcoming and we enjoyed the pizza. It was the perfect peaceful getaway and only 30 mins drive into Oxford and 10 mins taxi to Le Manoir. We'll definitely be back!
