Patti was an amazing host. She made sure that we had everything we need and she went the extra mile providing toys for our toddler. The house was beautiful. Very peaceful neighbourhood and you can just walk to the beach where you can find nice restaurants and a playground. Perfect getaway for families. And the heated pool is the icing on the cake

It was absolutely wonderful staying at Joanne's home. It was very comfortable and loved the outdoor firepit. Very peaceful and lovely home. We would love to come back again for another visit.

We had a lovely Christmas here and it was a lovely neighborhood. Friendly neighbors too they helped us jump our car. Beautiful property on the water.

Absolutely fabulous experience! We stayed during a very low key time (Christmas+) but were able to find lots of fun things to do (shopping in St Michael’s [don’t miss The Blue Heron for the best caffeine], driving tour of Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, etc.). We got incredible photos during sunrise/sunset, safely walked-ran on the neighborhood roads, enjoyed the fire pit, and thoroughly rested and relaxed. So grateful we chose Jon’s home for 5 days/4 nights of R&R ❤️

This place was perfect. We wanted a relaxing weekend away and Beach, Please delivered! This place has everything you would ever need and everything you didn't know you needed for a fun and relaxing getaway. We hope to come back in warmer weather to take advantage of all the outdoor amenities!!

I like the house is more what expected definitely I’ll back again

We had a wonderful time at Thorneton Point Estate. The visit was to celebrate my father-in-law's 80th birthday and it was a big success. We had three generations of family from kids to elderly grandparents and the property offered something fun and relaxing for everyone: from hanging out in the kitchen and tv dens, walking the well landscaped grounds, swimming in the pool, using the game room, and hanging out by the firepit. Some of the grandparents even did a little fishing with their grandkids. The grounds are pretty and private and the design of the house, the furniture and fixtures were really nice. The internet worked well for everyone, and the property was very clean--with the one minor exception being the adirondack chairs by the pier which had some ash from previous firepit use--and well appointed and conducive to enjoying time together. We also had good communication with Matt, our host, and would absolutely return in the future!

This was a great vacation. This place has it all from the pool to the kayaking, fishing, crabbing and the late night fires were we all just sat around the fire and enjoyed the time together. The house was awesome, plenty of room for all. The family had a great time. Definitely would rent this place again.

this was one of the best stay we had ! everything was perfect. I will go back again !

the accommodation is located in an absolutely charming area. the garden is huge. we spent two months there and quickly felt at home. the accommodation is well equipped. the kitchen is very complete. and every detail is well thought out. even though it's a basement, you really feel like you're in a private apartment, the hosts are very discreet, and when you need her Ms. Pam is very responsive.

We had a wonderful stay and felt at home within minutes after checking in. Our favorite space was the kitchen. It well stocked with the cookware and utensils we needed. Plenty of towels and hot water for a nice long shower. I’m a remote worker and the WiFi and bandwidth was more than sufficient for my workload. I visit the area regularly and would definitely book again if available.

If you are looking for a peaceful escape, you found it. Although this home can be used for large gatherings, it is also the perfect getaway for 2. My husband and I loved watching the water and the natural wildlife. DO NOT MISS THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE THIS HOUSE!

An extraordinary place to rest & recharge. The views, the comfort of the home, and the gorgeous walking trails, through woods & beach are a perfect combination. Everything we needed & then some.

It was the perfect spot for a family gathering. The home was nicely decorated with comfortable furniture and plenty of room for 6 adults. We found ourselves spending our mornings in the front living room looking at the beautiful water view and variety of birds landing on the water (binoculars were provided). The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Since it was February and part of the creek was frozen, we didn’t get to enjoy the kayaks or fire pit, but they did provide plenty of fire wood. The hosts were quick to respond to our questions and they were very nice. All around it was a place we will return.

We were looking for a peaceful and restorative Valentines weekend and Peace Point delivered. Top marks. Couldn’t ask for more incredibly welcoming, thoughtful note and chocolate left for us. Very helpful with local information we had rain so there were plenty of puzzles to do. The bed and pillows were firm and in fantastic condition slept soundly. Would book again. it was a lovely, lovely respite.

We were so lucky to spend several nights over Thanksgiving here and it was a perfect place to unwind and relax. This is small very comfortable home on a gorgeous property overlooking the river. It was really cold during our stay, so we used the hot tub a lot and enjoyed a warm fire in the outdoor pit. The large picture window in the bedroom was perfect to take in all the beauty outside from the comfortable bed. The home is extremely well-stocked not only with basics and also with lots of extras (too many to list here). The host is very responsive and flexible offering early check in and late check out (without us even asking) and leaving us much appreciated welcome treats. We look forward to coming back in warmer weather so we can be outside a lot more.

Nice, cute place. The beds were comfortable and all seemed cleaned. Nice view of the beach but it is closed certain time of year. We didn’t go for the beach but good to know as the owner let us know before we booked and appreciated the host who was very friendly and responsive. Close to DC which was great easy drive. The water has a sulfur smell which isn’t a big deal but wanted to add that detail. Everything was great and a nice stay! Would recommend:)

Loved staying at this place. Host went above and beyond to make us feel invited by leaving us some wine and Valentine's themed cupcakes. Loved the location because it was easy to get to and from the event we visited for. Would recommend for any trips in the National Harbor area.

We had an amazing time at this location! We were there for a wedding and my parents joined us so that they could watch our 4 month old. The airbnb was spacious and extremely comfortable for all of us to stay. We were here for St Michael's Christmas Parade weekend and the airbnb was located so conveniently to the down town area, close to the restaurants and shops. We had a blast and most certainly would come back to stay again.

Our family traveled from South Carolina for a funeral in LaPlata MD (a short drive away from this home). Jane's property was just what we needed to accommodate our family of 6. The house was clean, comfortable and well equip with everything that was needed. The ping pong table in the garage provided much needed entertainment when we had down time. The views were absolutely beautiful and we can not wait to come back. While there we enjoyed crabs at Captain John's crab house a couple of miles away. I would totally recommend this home to anyone that is traveling for business, leisure or just a peaceful, quiet getaway. Thanks Jane for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful home with us.

This is our 3rd time staying here, and it continues to impress. Getting to stay here made a stressful work trip feel like a vacation, and we will absolutely be back.

This little house is the perfect cozy getaway! The decor is lovely, without being too beach-kitschy. It was super clean and so conveniently located. We walked to restaurants and the boardwalk easily. Tacy was quick to respond to messages. The fenced yard was perfect for dogs, with the front and backyards being separated if you want. The off-street parking is a real bonus because it can sometimes be hard to find street parking in North Beach. Definitely recommend this great property!
