Exceeded expectations.

Great place for a peaceful getaway. The cabin layout is great with plenty of room to spread out. Well stocked with plenty of pots, pans and utensils. The fire pit is Great! Lauren is a pleasure to deal with, very responsive and friendly! Highly recommend this experience.

The Roost was outstanding! Very clean, peaceful, cozy, beautiful and relaxing. Kim had absolutely everything that you would need to relax and unwind in The Roost. The kitchen had all of the amenities, bathroom was clean and stocked with plenty of towels, bedroom and living area had plenty of cozy furniture and blankets, everything was fresh and clean. She even included some small games to have a little fun. The deck and hot tub area was clean and refreshing, plenty of privacy. Gravel patio and grill area were roomy and she had plenty of firewood and grill utensils. Outdoor table was clean and provided an umbrella which was a nice touch. Do not hesitate to book with Kim! This was the most relaxing, fun experience we have had in a while. We recommend to everyone and we will most definitely be back!! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

This is second time I have stayed at this place and will be booking again. Location is beautiful and very peaceful. The house is very clean and has everything I need for visiting family in the area for the holidays.

Super cozy & well-designed home! Gosh, we loved it. We have two babies thus we appreciated the games & puzzles, pack & plays, and kids soap. But for us adults, we loved the furniture, art, lamps, drinking glasses, porch, coffee bar, beds, and so much more. It’s just such a cool place. We only stayed a day and night but had a killer hike at the Shut-Ins and two amazing meals. This is such an underrated area of the country. We totally dig it. The host was sooooo nice and accommodating. Cheers to that!

Our stay at Christopher's home was peaceful and rejuvenating. The pictures do not do justice to the views and the property! We woke up in the morning to Blue Jays and a variety of other birds out the back window. We spent about 3 hours hiking the woods on a snowy day, completely captivated with awe and wondermeant. When we returned back to the house we got the fireplace going and watched the sunset as the deer moved in right outside the back deck. 10/10 would love to return. Christopher was also very responsive to any questions we had.

Was a perfect location to stay if you want to see different attractions. House was beautiful and in very good condition as well!

Absolutely loved the house! It's in a peaceful area and with no city lights you can see all the stars. Would highly recommend!

This was our first time renting an Airbnb. If we are ever back in the area we will stay here again. It's located in a nice neighborhood that's conveniently located close to base, restaurants, shopping, etc. Jayson responded promptly to any questions I had and was very helpful. Overall, it was a good experience.

We had such a great time !! Cabin is beautiful, very accommodating for several visitors. You just feel like you are at home! Home tub is the bomb!! So relaxing , best one I have been to as of yet at an Airbnb!! ( Hot Tub is always a requirement, as I am old , lol ) Would definitely recommend to anyone , and when we are up that way , I would definitely consider staying there again. Close to fishing areas , close to Cape Guiradeu, and we even took a trip to Grizzly Jig Co. ( Husband is a crappie fisherman ,lol) Oh and Casinos are around too ! Loni’s place was just as described and I felt right at home. I definitely suggest booking if you get the chance. Loni is very responsive GREAT HOST!
