The property is beautiful and very comfortable. We were out of season but there is a lovely garden area to use, weather permitting. Teresa kindly left bread and cake and some other supplies which was really kind of her and very welcome as we arrived rather hungry. The location is perfect for the beach and Cahore Strand. I would highly recommend this property and Teresa was extremely friendly and helpful!

Great little place . Has everything you need for a well rested sleep and a lovely hot shower after a day of walking . Peaceful and quiet area.

Had a lovely stay in Gemma’s place for New Years. The place is very cosy, spacious and has everything you need. Gemma was very helpful from start to finish with recommendations for us and our little lad as well as extra bits we had forgot to bring along! Would highly recommend Gemma and her lovely home! The cottage is packed with everything you might need in the kitchen, bedroom or bathroom Variety of 6 different kinds of ground coffee, and instant one on the top, - unbelievable. what we didn't like - the shower not hot enough, not strong enough, and the view of the backyard from the windows. Anyway, we had a perfect stay. Thank you Rose.

We went to Wexford from Dublin for a weekend. Nice and quiet area where the house is. Perfect location if you are traveling with a car. Only 15 minutes drive to town center. The house is very clean and tidy. Exactly like the description. The host lady is very friendly. When we checked out we forgot to logout our Netflix account. She did it for us after we told her. Would definitely go back again for a weekend getaway.

Myself, my wife our 9yr old and family dog stayed at Ruth's lodge for 4 days! We had such a lovely stay! The lodge was so cosy and the view was amazing! They had everything we needed! The beds were so comfy! The kitchen had anything we needed to cook! The shower was very nice! Heating was easy to work and the lodge heated up very quickly! I would recommend this stay if you want peace and quiet away from the world! We were left alone but we knew if we needed anything we could contact Ruth! Shops near by and some takeaways also! We will definitely stay again! It would be amazing in the summer! Thank you Ruth 🩷

Amazing place to stay! Everything was gorgeous and cosy, it’s right near hook lighthouse. All the little details of the house like the net and the decor made me want to spend time there. Would definitely come back. Also, we did a woodworking course in bevel woodworking school which I also really recommend!
