Family-friendly vacation rentals in Cottage Grove

We booked three nights to accommodate extended family coming from Chicago and Duluth to celebrate my son’s graduation from UMN. This place was perfect for us! There was plenty of room for everybody. The kitchen, open living room area, and deck worked really well for entertaining. We threw a BBQ get together for my son’s friends, a huge success in this great space. The place is very well stocked with everything we needed. We also heated up the sauna each morning to start the day! Emily was very responsive to our every need. Thank you!

Eric is a great host. Super communicator. We appreciated having a place close to our house as we had to be gone from our house for a stage of remodeling. Would recommend.

We now stay at this cozy cottage yearly for a family, mother/daughter trip. My husband and I are also interested in staying for our own romantic get away sometime. It is the perfect blend of city perks combined with a wooded, lake view natural environment. We also loved enjoying the huge hot tub outside right in the middle of winter. It was a joy all around that we can’t wait to enjoy again and keep recommending!

The Corn Crib Cottage was wonderful! So close to the cities but you feel like you are far away in an enchanting oasis. It's a beautiful space, has everything you need. Spotless. Very whimsical and charming. We had a lovely anniversary here. Will recommend to family and friends.

One of the best airbnb homes I've stayed at! Four friends and I were visiting Northfield for our 35th college reunion, and it was such a pleasure staying in Barry's lovely, spacious home where we could relax in the many comfortable spaces--especially the porch with it's beautiful views overlooking the surrounding landscape during cool summer mornings and evenings. The communication was excellent and check-in and check-out went smoothly. We hope to back in 5 years!

Loved our stay and can’t wait to come back next year! We loved sitting in the hot tub, of course, and enjoyed the many cozy spaces. Had a great experience walking over to the Willow River Saloon for the Friday Fish Fry and for the weekend special twofer breakfasts.

There were four couples, and we each had our own bath and bedroom. It was so great to be able to get together in the morning and have coffee and look at the beautiful view. In the evening we sat around in the living room and chatted. It couldn’t have been more perfect for us. And the beds were very comfortable!

Great location- easy to walk to a lot of places, also a very cozy home.

Don’t judge a book by its cover…this house may be unassuming on the outside, but inside it’s clean, cute, and larger than you would expect. Beautiful backyard that was thoroughly enjoyed by our dogs.

There was a lack of communication from the start, but once everyone was on the same page, we were fine! The beds were very comfortable and the place was spacious for the 4 of us.

We had a wonderful weekend at Josh's place and he was a great host. He was easy to get in contact with if we had any questions and was very friendly. The bnb was super cute, really clean, and had everything we could possibly need. I would highly recommend this spot!

James was an excellent host. Super responsive whenever I had a question. He even had Amazon deliver a new electric teakettle when I mentioned that it wasn't working. We had a lovely stay and the layout of the house was great for me and my kids and my parents, who had the more separate downstairs master suite. We will be back!

Nanci's was a great place to stay when we were in town for Thanksgiving. It is cozy, well-appointed, and clean. The description of the stay was accurate, and we would definitely stay here again. The ceiling is low in places for taller people. However, my husband had no problem being mindful of that fact, and we enjoyed our stay. While the small apartment is at basement or garden level, the light from the egress window in the bedroom area kept us feeling as if we were in a basement. We also appreciated the good quality sheets and towels.

This is comfortable stay with a very convenient location for exploring the Twin Cities. We enjoyed our stay!

This was our 4th stay at Mel and John’s place. One our favorite Airbnbs. Very friendly hosts who are super responsive. Apartment has a fully stocked kitchen with all you need to prepare meals. Lovely neighborhood with great access to a large park with lots of great trails and access to other parks. Easy access for the Minnesota state fair

Deb was amazing! We booked our stay less than an hour before we got there due to a conflict with our original plan. And she had it ready before we got there and was super proactive about accommodating for us, even though we couldn’t have asked for more. Snacks, coffee, water, towels, and even soaps. It was a great deal for the price, and we left incredibly pleased. Deb is a GREAT host who understands the importance of feeling welcomed during your stay.

This home was excellent/ Four beds; two in the main area (bunks) and two in the bredroom. There was a well stocked kitchen, clean bathroom, and clean linens. The space was easy to get into and had a number pad activated lock, and a secondary keyed lock on the door inside. THe area is very quaint with many great restaraunts within walking distance. Michael the host was quick to respond, helpful, and responsive. He was very friendly.

Very cute little cottage in a beautiful location. 2 deer came right up to the front window and stared at us. Very clean and the owners were very responsive to the couple questions we had. It had amenities we needed but the TV was confusing. We wanted to watch the morning news with our coffee but couldn’t seem to find local news channels.

Audrey is an awesome host with a beautiful space. We're repeat customers and look forward to the next time we can stay there.
