Quiet place outside of Bonham, quick drive to town. House is nice and peaceful! Host was very responsive to any questions or issues that arose.

Great guest house for a long weekend! we enjoyed access to the lake and the ability to use the pool and outside area. The guesthouse was clean and fully stocked with everything you could need. plus the hosts were great and very accommodating.

We had an AMAZING time at Kathleen’s cottage by the lake during part of our Christmas 🎄 2024 vacation. The cottage is very modern and is beautiful both inside and out. The surrounding area felt very peaceful and even though you are surrounded by other cottages nearby…we felt a sense of peace and solitude. The cottage was clean and decluttered and we truly felt at home during our stay. Our host, Kathleen, was extremely helpful and very attentive and when we indicated an issue with the dishwasher…she was apologetic and issued us a partial refund for our inconvenience. We highly recommended Kathleen’s cottage if you’re in the area and if you’re not in the area …it’s definitely worth the time and effort if you’re looking for peaceful getaway. 5+ Stars!

Roxanne's house was exactly as advertised. Everything was clean and working properly. The house smelled good and was quite a nice place. The backyard was nice to hangout in. The pool was cold which was great. I did some cold plunge in the morning prior to getting ready for work. Hot tub was great as well .

Had a great time staying with David and Chelsea. We enjoyed having access not only to the lake, but many other amenities including kayaks, yard games, cards, and board games. Dock with lights for night time fishing or hanging out enjoying the sunset from the upper deck. Plenty of room for everyone, clean and cozy. Looking forward to staying here again.

Perfect Thanksgiving Getaway!! We had an amazing Thanksgiving stay at this lovely lakefront home. The house was clean, comfortable, and offered plenty of space for our two families to relax and unwind. The backyard was a kid's paradise, with a fantastic playset and stunning lake views. We loved watching the sunset over the lake while the kids played happily. The hosts have clearly put a lot of thought into creating a welcoming and family-friendly space. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway.

Mr John was amazing. Upon arriving we ran into Mr John and it allowed us to meet and chit chat with him for a bit. The house was beautiful just as the photos. During our trip we happened to lock the doors while stepping out but forgot the keys in the house, Mr John responded very quickly and advised us he was away but he was prepared enough to find us a way to get in. The accommodations for the children with the swings and seesaw was a big plus. We will most definitely try to rent again on our nxt family trip.

Mia's place was the perfect spot for our short getaway. She provided everything we needed and was very responsive. I look forward to staying here again.

I'm a psychotherapist and I hosted a very small retreat at this location for some clients. There was plenty of space. We had 8 registrants, but two had to cancel last minute, so 6 attendees. We would have easily been able to accommodate if the other 2 had been there. The space in the backyard was perfect for a group movement session. People spent a lot of time on the patio and in the backyard hanging out. The only thing worth mentioning is that we didn't know beforehand that there is not an actual bathroom upstairs, which could have been a problem if we had folks with mobility issues or who couldn't make it downstairs in the night to use the restroom. It worked out fine for us but not everyone would be ok with that. Otherwise we loved it here and would happily stay here again. Enjoy!

My husband and I loved this little oasis while we were visiting family in the area over Christmas. It was cosy and cute!

We had a wonderful time here. The setting was gorgeous. Our family fit perfectly and the house had everything we needed. The host quickly responded to our questions and had great recommendations.
