Waterfront vacation rentals in Confluence

Had a wonderful stay at this spotless apartment with a lovely view of the confluence of rivers. The host was responsive and helpful. We felt at home with everything we needed, from the well-supplied kitchen to the comfortable living room, spacious dining room and luxurious bedroom suite with its own deck door. We had breakfast and coffee on the huge deck while enjoying ducks and boats on the water. Heard trains but slept fine. Being able to lock our bicycles in designated storage was a huge plus, as was the convenience of having bikes right outside the door for a beautiful ride on the treelined Great Allegheny Passage trail to OhioPyle in the state park 10 miles away. A fawn nibbled berries as we arrived for an incredible dinner at the Riversedge Cafe, a short walk from the apartment. The Confluence Convenience mart was open when we needed supplies on a Monday evening. And so glad we stopped at the nearby Tissue Farm for Chai, scone and art on our way out to Kentuck Knob - a must-see!

Kara’s loft is very modern and functional. It’s both spotlessly clean and welcoming. Our two families of 7 enjoyed our two-night stay. Visited the famous Fallingwater, and made good use of the well-equipped kitchen for warm family gatherings. Thank you, Kara, for the opportunity to stay in this unique unit.

Very convenient to the GAP for biking. We had a couple of minor issues, but these were addressed quickly. The beds were comfortable.

A comfortable, spotlessly clean little apartment. Everything was as described. Diana was responsive to our questions but was not intrusive at all. We had a bonfire outside, sat on the front porch, listened to the trains, and walked around town. Enjoyed a couple of great meals at the River's Edge Cafe, just a short walk away. A great experience. We absolutely loved staying at River Rest! The apartment is spotless, clean and not cluttered but has everything you need for your stay! Bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and clean bedding! Living room is also comfortable! The kitchen has 2 coffee machines, full refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and hot plate. We felt like we were home! Randall’s Restaurant is 3 minutes away with fantastic homemade meals and great pies! Try the peanut butter chocolate you won’t be disappointed! Thank you so much for having us and I promise we will be back!

Beautiful home. Very peaceful. We truly enjoyed our stay and the scenic views. Everything that you could possibly want to make your stay perfect was available from additional wood for the fire, a clean hot tub, a washer and dryer with laundry detergent, generous cookware, a spacious refrigerator, an open kitchen, with multiple places to enjoy a meal with family/friends. The little ones loved the additional living room with the games/toys, beds, and TV's...and my favorite spot was sitting by the stream and relaxing. Perfect stay!

This has been my 4th or 5th stay at one of Mikes cabins on the savage and it’s always a pleasure. The area is just downright beautiful, and the property is everything you can ask for. Mike and the guys at the fly shop are always very helpful with anything ya need.

Echo everyone else's review. Beautiful place and extremely clean like described. This is the perfect place to spend your weekend in the laurel highlands area, so close to everything you'd need. Hearing the running water of the creek outside was a plus for us.

We were excited to stay at the Air B&B. The pictures did not do the place justice. When we arrived, the home was tastefully decorated for Christmas. The rooms on the lower level were perfect for the less mobile members of our group. The upstairs was wonderful with a large walk out balcony. The river views were beautiful. I can only imagine what this place looks like in the other seasons. We have been talking about doing just that. Everyone would love to meet up here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The location of the home was so perfect in Ohiopyle! The host provided lots of free coffee, creamers, sugars, etc. which was a lovely bonus!!! Will be sure to book again in the summer to take advantage of the pool and the great location!

My family and I stayed here during a ski weekend and it was perfect. Very clean and comfortable. Super easy access to the mountain. Kids loved the galaga game in the bunk bed room! Great communication. Overall great experience.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is very well stocked throughout (kitchen, games, extra pillows, blankets). It was very clean and quiet. Super close to the slopes for ski in, ski out. Would stay here again!

We loved this property and our condo. The lake was so beautiful and immediately accessible from our balcony. The entire property was beautifully maintained and updated, with all the most charming original touches. The restaurant onsite was convenient and good (Ace’s Run). The other patrons and staff were friendly and for the price it was an incredibly great deal. The only thing that could be improved are the window coverings. The sun rise is directly across from the balcony windows, which is also right where the bed is. The blinds really don’t keep any light out at all, so we were happy to start our days there early, but every day pretty much starts at sunrise with the blinds as they are. But otherwise the condo was truly perfect. Completely cozy and well appointed with convenient features!

We had a great stay at Diana’s! Ours was a studio in a group of 5 or 6 Airbnbs across 2 houses very close together. Huge meandering deck with each unit having a private bit to themselves and a fantastic view. The studio was sparkling clean and looked brand new. It’s not large but arranged in a way that it felt bigger than it is. Make sure to take a walk through Confluence and soak up every detail of this small town. So calm and peaceful and everyone very nice. Coffee, art and pastry shop 1/2 away. If you need gluten free, a small grocery across from the park had a surprising huge number of items and the Rivers edge restaurant’s chef is gluten free. They worked with us to modify dishes on the menu to substitute gluten free items as needed. Diana was very helpful and friendly with quick responses to our questions and suggestions for places to eat. One of the best hosts we’ve ever had. Ohiopyle is the major tourist hub. Confluence is 10 mi away and a perfect break from the crowds.

My family enjoyed this cozy little place. We felt right at home, and so did our dog. We couldn't ask for a more perfect location. Sarah was great about responding to me if I had a question. She seems to really care about her guests and making sure they have what they may need while they are staying there.

What a great place! Everything was exactly as advertised, in fact even better. It has everything you might need, and nice little touches as well (firewood including fire starter). Sarah & Jason responded quickly to all of our questions, and even dropped off some extra coffee pods when we were snowed in and didn’t really know where to go to get more. The area is beautiful, and the condo is close to Wisp, and the charming small town of Oakland. We hope to definitely go back sometime. Thanks Sarah & Jason!

We had a great one-night stay at Trailside Guest Suite. The property matched the online description and it was in a perfect location in the town. Would definitely return for another stay and would recommend to others.
