Cottage vacation rentals in Comal River

Cute little cottage with a ton of amenities right outside of downtown Wimberley. The location is great because it’s quiet but close enough for a 3 minute trip down the road to restaurants and shops. I’d recommend cabin 1/white because your porch with hot tub is very private. Everything was very clean and in excellent condition. I’d definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property that is unique and very cozy. Super great and feels just as the pictures look in the listing. Joe is a great host, very helpful and welcoming, also having a great attention to detail with doing small things such as providing you with a pamphlet with his personal recommendations for local activities and restaurants along with good to have information. Would 1000% stay here again!

We loved the privacy on so much land, and the hot tub was our Fave! I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Only cons for me would be the main door automatically locks after 30 seconds. If it wasn’t for my husband leaving his phone in the truck we would have been screwed because we could not remember the 8 digit code; which we would recommend minimizing to maybe 4. Other than that we have no complaints at all.! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely an adorable house with a lot put into the decor. It felt like home away from home. There are 3 types of AirBnbs: 1. Not going back there 2. That was enjoyable 3. Didn’t want to leave We definitely DIDN’T want to leave. -Neighborhood was clean. -Property and inside of the house was clean. -Easy to find. -Was private but yet people were around. -Adorable unique decor. -Solid A/C and heater. -Great water pressure. -Host was very responsive and friendly. We want to stay there again!!!

So adorable! It was perfect for our girls’ trip. Very cozy with cute decor. The backyard was my favorite part- fire pit and grill and plenty of comfortable outside chairs. Would recommend!

This Airbnb was perfect for us. Just right for a party of two. We had everything we needed. The neighbor’s goat was a hoot. And the owner’s chickens and deer were a treat. Only 35 mins to downtown SA with everything you need close by. We loved the rural peace and quiet with the convenience, too. We will be back!

My friends and I absolutely loved our getaway at Kathy & Wayne's place! Not only was the location magical and the house perfect for what we were looking for, they also offered a 3pm check-out without us asking as they didn't have any guests coming the next day. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Loved Shelly’s place and her adorable cottage. Her dogs are adorable and so is this quaint, well appointed Airbnb. Will definitely go back!

Peggy was an amazing host! She was very nice, sweet, considerate & professional! Just the customer service prior to arriving was enough to say that it will be great place to stay. Once we arrived & saw the beautiful, peaceful backyard, we knew we had made a great choice. The reviews were very accurate. The place is small but it’s what we expected, smelled cleaned & nice, very clean, beds were comfortable & I love that she loves pets.

I’ve been searching for the perfect “peaceful getaway” for years and this place has won my heart! It was everything I had hoped for and more! Kate was so kind and accommodating! She welcomed my reservation at 7pm after I’d been terribly disappointed with the original Airbnb I reserved. So many rental owners fool you with photo angles and withheld details but the Happy House was even better than its online presence. My dog and I will definitely be back again and again!

Sarah’s place was exactly as advertised - even better! We especially loved the large yard and landscaping and sitting out by the fire - it was a nice family retreat from the city!

Better than I expected, which was saying a lot. I needed time away and really decided to do it when I saw Juniper Hollow & read the description. First time I ever traveled alone for non-business purposes. Exactly what I needed and Audrey was in touch and helpful. The space is tasteful and oh so comfortable. I was sorry to leave.

Her sweet little cottage was such a quaint and relaxing haven for us!♥️☺️ So orderly and clean.👌🏼Beautiful and comfortable rooms. We were amazed to find all we need to cook and prep. We actually played a little “I wonder if she has…” game! 😁 No lack of comfort or convenience here! 😊 Sad to have to leave, but this will definitely be on our list of places to go back to in the future.👍🏼 Thanks for everything.🙏🏼😊

This was a a beautiful location, very quiet and peaceful. Spotless accommodations and the kitchen had everything you could need in cookware and utensils. Highly recommend. Our host, James, was easy to work with and very responsive.

Yeah- go ahead and book this place NOW!! It’s open and airy with 😍 views. We had everything we needed to cook meals and relax just like we were at our house including tv options. It’s definitely quiet and relaxing. We plan to visit again in the future when relaxation calls. Hosts are prompt and created a resource guide that is replete with suggestions and ways to enjoy your stay. All the best.

We enjoyed our stay in this guesthouse. It was very cute and cozy. It was exactly what we were looking for during an overnight stay. It had everything we needed!

Adorable little cottage that was just what we were hoping for! Very clean, with thoughtful design and use of space (I love the white cube "wall" that separates the bedroom area from the living room.) Comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen, and a great desk where my husband got some work done. The cottage was surprisingly quiet, considering how close to the highway it is located. Carlos is awesome, communicated exceptionally well, and he was quick to help with any questions. We had a little trouble finding the cottage at first b/c google maps took us to the front of the property, which is a different house. You actually have to turn onto an alley of sorts, which seems a little suspect at first. But fear not, you park in a secure electronic gated parking area and there was nothing that felt unsafe. Just a quiet area behind some businesses. We would definitely stay here again if we were back in town!
