Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Columbia County

This home was absolutely gorgeous with the best views of surrounding nature. It was full of character and had plenty of room for our family. With so much charm, we felt right at home. The street was immensely quiet and peaceful. It was only about 15 minutes from Knoebel’s amusement park- which is the reason for our trip. It was about 10 minutes away from local food establishments. Close enough, yet far enough away! We cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. We would love to come back again. Thank you for having us!

My husband and I found the house to be surrounded by a beautiful state park. Located close to hiking trails and off the beaten path. We drank our coffee in the morning, watched the deer graze and the blue birds eating berries. One morning we were lucky to catch site of a black bear. There is a grocery store, Mountain Fresh, down the road a bit. It's the perfect place to pickup food. The house has a perfect country kitchen and a great view. Hike, chill, repeat. Thanks Jeff for such a nice stay.

This was our second stay and we hope to stay longer in the future. This setting is as peaceful as it gets in our experience and we love the ridgetop views. It was magical this time when it started snowing in the morning. Love the old farmhouse and its amenities and the grounds. Still haven't tried the tub in the master bedroom; maybe next time. We want to bring the whole family.

We love this property, I take my own children and all of our grandkids, they have room to run. The house is big so we are not on top of each other. I will go back year after year!

We had a great stay at Janette’s place. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our visit. Janette was very attentive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.

My family had a very comfortable stay at Jami’s place while we visited the area for our trip to Knoebels. The location was great and in close proximity to the park as well as some other local spots we enjoyed. I would definitely recommend staying here!

perfect little property in a pretty neighborhood. love how close to everything in town you are without it feeling that way. also very helpful & informative hosts!

Host was quick to respond when the boiler was turned off and walked me through how to turn it on so we didn’t freeze to death. Place was very spacious and way better than sticking the whole family in a couple of hotel rooms. Would definitely stay there again the next time we plan a trip to Knoebels. Walkable to the coffee shop next door, Dollar General across the street and Sheetz right up the street.

This was our second time staying here. We were visiting family for Christmas and it was convenient for us. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable! It can get a little cold in the winter, but there are heaters in every room that heat it up quickly. Russell and Mandy were very responsive whenever I messaged them. We will definitely consider staying here on future trips back to the area!

Great place. Clean & modern. I came for AOAA for a couple days. Joe responded quickly when i asked about parking with a trailer. A full size truck with a 20’ trailer backs easily in the side alley. Area looks sketchy, but is safe & quiet. Minimal sound from the highway close by. Could hear the other apartment occupants a little, but that was expected. Nothing that would turn me away. Verizon service was almost nonexistent, but the wifi is excellent. Super streaming speed. A good place to stay that ill keep in mind for the future.

great place I would come back

Jess's place was just as described. It was just what we were looking for. My kids had fun feeding the animals. The place was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with the essentials. It was secluded like we want it to but also a close drive to town.

Samantha was so responsive. Literally in mins sometimes but always very soon. The place felt like home. It was so quiet and peaceful. This was by far the best stay I’ve ever had through airbnb. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. It’s walking distance to so many restaurants. The post office was right across the street. Everything was walkable. The place is in a quaint little town. Right in DT Bloomsburg. I just can’t say enough good about my stay. Five stars all the way. Thank you Samantha!!!

The apartment was fantastic, and Scott is an exceptional host. We came to visit family for Christmas, and all 4 of us had plenty of room. The beds are very comfortable. This will definitely be our go-to location when we are in the area again.

Frans place was really cute and the attention to detail was not lost on me. Her description of the place was great and in some aspects her place exceeded the description. Snacks and drinks were abundant and there were instructions for anything and everything at your fingertips. Access to Blooms downtown was just a short walk away. Book this and enjoy.
