We stayed here for a family get together as we live all over the country we meet at least twice a year, The house was amazing, huge space plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms the house is located opposite a really good pub with very friendly helpful staff There are good circular walks around which were great for a wander, Noel was extremely helpful and communication was very quick, we were treated by a lovely welcome pack and a very warm house The hot tub was a very nice treat as is the sauna and hobbit house, The location is very easy to find, the village is 5 minutes from the A14 but you'd never know its so peaceful Would definitely recommend this house and it's owners as a great place to stay, and would like to return in the future,

We stayed at honeypot cottage for New Year’s Eve. The cottage is super cute and is decorated beautifully. We appreciated the welcome biscuits! The village is very peaceful with great walks from the front door. We walked to the swan with two nicks and it was a lovely walk with great food at the end! We struggled to get and keep the cottage warm and there is no way we could have done it without the log burner so worth bearing in mind if you’re renting in the winter! It’s also worth noting for those bringing dogs that the garden is not accessible directly from the cottage. You have to go through next doors courtyard which is easy enough, but just a bit of a pain if you have a dog like ours who refused to toilet in the courtyard 😅 Simon and Caroline responded quickly to our messages before our arrival but left thorough notes for us, so we didn’t have the need to contact them during our stay. I have no doubt that they would have been helpful!

Charmaine's place was exactly what we needed at the end of a hectic 3 week visit to the UK that included Christmas in London and a New Year wedding in Glasgow. We had previously lived in Woolstone for 8 years so we knew exactly what to expect as far as the general location and surroundings, including 2 good pubs and the Grand Union Canal within walking distance, but the property itself was very relaxing and peaceful, spotlessly clean and so well-equipped. A lovely home-away-from home!

The loft is a lovely cosy spot. My friend and I were visiting the area for an event and The Loft was perfectly located for us. We visited the Fox and Hounds for a meal and had a very enjoyable evening. Good food and friendly service. Celine is a friendly and helpful host and I wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again. Ideal!!

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas. The cottage and the village are beautiful. Stephanie and her daughter gave us all the information we needed and were lovely to deal with. Hope to be back again soon!

Very close to city center

Loved every bit of staying with them. Place was clean and tidy and went out of there way to help me find extra accommodation when i was in need of somewhere to stay after staying with them. Definitely recommend to everyone

Suzanne and Ian’s lovely property was ideal for an overnight stay for my adult son and I when we visited Woburn Safari Park. Very comfortable, extremely well equipped and newly refurbished to a high standard. Numerous thoughtful touches, excellent directions to the property and clear, helpful instructions on everything inside. Very generous complementary coffee and tea provisions and delicious brownies! We would love to return if we visit the area again. Thank you Suzanne and Ian

Brilliant stay for family Christmas The house was as described and all instructions were sent in advance of the booking The kitchen and dining area are huge, ideal for socialising , there was one small problem which was lack of saucepans, however, i had brought a couple, which I had pre-prepared food in Overall we had an amazing family Christmas get together, obviously Bicester Village is close by for the avid designer shoppers !

Peace and calm place to stay.

It was nice to have the wood burner with logs and lighters provided which we lit 1st night of our stay even though the house was warm when we arrived. This was our second visit, this time in winter, the cottage was clean, warm and well equipped and ideally situated in a quiet peaceful location for our visit to relatives nearby. We walked our two Dalmatians each day on the many foot paths located near to the cottage with great views over the Bedfordshire countryside. Many thanks to Jim and Caroline we look forward to staying with you again. Andrew and Caroline
