I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and convenient place to stay. If you are staying for longer duration then better take enough groceries as there is only Forrest General Store.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making our check-in and stay smooth and hassle-free. The place was spotless and well-maintained, which made it feel so comfortable and relaxing. The ambiance was perfect for family time, with cozy spaces to gather and unwind. The view was absolutely stunning, adding an extra touch of beauty to our stay. This is definitely a great place for families looking to relax and enjoy time together. Highly recommend!

Another wonderful week at Wye River, our favourite home from home. David and Colleen are the best Airbnb hosts and we are very grateful that they allow us to stay in their lovely home. We will be back next summer.

Best views by far of any place we've stayed in, glorious views of the sea and the bush all around. We spotted koalas, kangaroos, wallabies and many native birds near the house. The three separate living areas made this a brilliant place for a large family group as it was so quiet for sleeping and playing games separate from others when needed, but there was also a really lovely big shared living space. The local coastline is stunning, with a 5 minute drive to the coast and 10 to a good patrolled swimming beach, and scenic drives to both Lorne and Apollo Bay. Brigitte was super friendly, responsive and easy to deal with. We won't forget this unique stay.

From the moment we stepped into the house we felt at home, the decor, furniture and amenities were well thought out. The kitchen was a dream to cook in with big stove top and oven, and stocked with all the necessary utensils, cookware and also some lovely extra's like a milk frother, nespresso coffee machine & tea options. We especially loved the big round table for family meals and card games. The mattresses on the 2 Queen beds were very comfortable and linen was lovely. Ian and Sandra were wonderful hosts, with great communication, accomodating and friendly nature. Thanks for the great stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cozy cottage in the countryside! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the serene beauty of the surrounding landscape. The cabin itself is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully decorated with charming rustic touches that made us feel right at home. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. They provided clear instructions for check-in, and a handy guide to local attractions. One of the highlights of our stay was the outdoor hot tub. The peaceful countryside walks were just what we needed to unwind and recharge. If you're looking for a tranquil getaway with all the comforts of home, this cottage is a must. We can't wait to come back!

Stunning home in beautiful location. Communication with host was perfect! Ample kitchen facilities (we love to cook), loved the separate drinks fridge, thoughtful extras for little ones. Really appreciated that there was no cleaning fee. It was hard to leave!!

A little gem! Perfect for a family of 4! Well thought out space and nicely styled with good quality furnishings, appliances etc. We had a very comfortable stay.

We had a great stay at Marcelle’s cabin, it’s fully equipped and has everything you need for a stay in Apollo bay plus the added amenities of a Big 4. Lots of things to do with children and is an easy walk across the road to the beach. We can’t wait to come back to Apollo Bay and stay at Marcelle’s cabin!

We had a fantastic time staying here. Christine made us feel very welcome in her space. On arrival we were welcomed with some little snacks so the kids could make smores. Christine also left a basketball for the kids to play and a note for them. Everything was clean and comfortable. We got to use the fishing rods, scooters and body boards. Was a great couple of days

Pleasant stay at a clean and cosy cabin in a beautiful location. Instructions were clear. Would stay again - lovely seeing the koalas all around the park!

*4.5 stay, rounded to 5 as it's still a wonderful stay. The cottage is some ways off the Great Ocean Road, and is thus very peaceful and relaxing with its fireplace and local fauna and flora. We were delighted to see a koala walk past the kitchen window and a bunny in the grass clearing. The cottage is lovingly decorated and comes with colourful, fresh linen. The sofa bed was fine for our two children but may not be comfy for adults. We did not mind the small space as our children are a bit older. However, there is seating on the decking and a grass clearing for running around and play should one need space. The bathroom is older, but this fits the rustic setting well. The water is hot, and the toiletries included (hand soap, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash) are high quality and aesthetically pleasing. To the kitchen: it has everything needed and the included coffee is amazing. The fry pans and kettle just need updating. Overall, a cosy stay that we enjoyed

This is a great little spot - the cabins are well positioned to look out over the forested hillside, and despite the other cabins on the property, you feel like you have the whole space to yourself. Lots of nice little touches to make you feel at home, including birdseed for the parrots! Getting to see the birds so close was one of my favorite parts of this stay. The unit is compact, though well-equipped, and a nice retreat from the city. Would stay here again!

We had a lovely mini break at Jans - the place was sooo peaceful and set up for a blissful getaway. The light breaky was yummy on the deck by the little lotus flower filled lake and we loved the sauna!

Lynne's little cabin is perfect for Holiday stay. It locates within the big four Holiday park and just two minutes drive from the Apollo Bay town centre. The cabin is nicely decorated and has everything that you would need. Even has a coffee machine with lovely handwritten instructions. My family and I really enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay with kids, lots of activities for them to be kept busy. Great location, close to the beach and short drive to shops. Would recommend this accomodation.
