Once you arrive you won’t want to leave. Mesmerizing view, studio is perfectly comfortable, and chill, friendly host! The beach was remarkably empty the days I was there and you can walk miles. Sunshine state did not disappoint.

Luxury beachfront ocean view 2b/2b modern updates!

KateRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a great time! Everything was as expected and the easy access to the Atlantic was unbeatable! The pool and hot tub were a bonus. The condo was spacious and felt like home to us. We had an easy time getting around the area and enjoyed many local eateries. We spent one full day at Universal and one at Kennedy Space Center. We saw the rescue rocket launch from the beach - so cool! 😎 wish we had another week to explore. Thank you, Monica!

Beachside Townhome on the barrier island

CaroleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lydia's place was literally a two minute walk from the wedding venue we came to attend. There was a lovely park right on the beach also just a two minute walk away. The neighborhood was quiet, and very near everything you'd need. It's a group of condos next to a commercial area, so there is no view from the condo. HOWEVER, the backyard is absolutely adorable. It's a pleasure to sit out there and relax. It's landscaped like a little oasis. The kitchen had what we needed and the appliances worked great. There was also a washer/dryer, plenty of towels, beach toys and chairs. The bathrooms were perfect, and it was amazing to have a separate bathroom for each of the three bedrooms. The bed was comfy. We had a few questions and Lydia got back to us quickly.

Atlantic Beachside Garden 2nd floor at Hedy's

RayRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Hedy's place is all about the location. Just steps to get across the dune to the beach. The lodging is as described and as shown in the pictures. Its not fancy but is clean, convenient, and very livable. Very much an old Florida vibe with a very friendly, proactive, and communicative host. Perfect for my little spring break getaway with my daughter.

Ocean Potion

GaryRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Excellent quiet beachside location. The building was a mix of owners and visitors. All were friendly, welcoming and easy to talk to. The AC in the unit is excellent resulting in cool, dry conditions in the humid beachside unit. Several restaurants and a great ice cream shop are within walking distance. The patio on the beach was wonderful providing sunny mornings and shady afternoons. A very peaceful and relaxing location.

Ocean Breeze Retreat

JohanneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed at Denise’s place for spring break with our two teenagers. The place was great, very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was so helpful to have each bedroom with an en suite and the extra powder room on the main level. The in-unit laundry was also a huge plus! The back private patio is super cute and we enjoyed sitting in the sun and watching the little lizards! The location is PERFECT! About a 3 minute walk to the beach and just a block or two more to Cocoa Beach Pier, which is a huge bonus so you don’t have to pay the $30 for parking in the lot at the pier! The beach wagon at the unit was so helpful in taking the provided chairs, umbrella, and cooler to the beach. We’ve stayed in Florida many times and have never had a host who provides one, so it was a very nice surprise. If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay, that has the perfect set up for staying with kids/teens, this place is it. We would definitely stay here again!

Paradise Beach Retreat

DeniseRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Bob's place was perfect for our stay with 5 people. I loved the decor and beach theme, spacious areas, comfortable beds, and back sun porch. It's a very easy and short drive over to free parking and entrance to the beach, with a ramp to walk down to the sand. Beautiful beach! Bob's chairs and umbrella came in handy! Thanks for a great stay!

Hidden Gem Near Beach and Village

LindsayRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lee and Kyoungun were wonderful hosts! They were so responsive with any questions. Not only did they allow our furbabies, but their fee was fair and they provided amenities for them such as bowls, paw wipes, a kennel, and a blanket. The home was very clean, and this is one of my biggest concerns when staying at an AirBnB. No problems here with that whatsoever! Nice spacious bedrooms and clean bathrooms. The furbabies LOVED the fenced in yard. If I had to find one thing to mention, the kitchen and living area was tight for our family of five plus the dogs. We weren’t in the house much, but if you’re planning on staying there a lot, consider the wonderful outdoor area for eating or activities.

Great old little beach house. Had everything we needed. Spent most of our time at the beach or the space center and it was nice to come back and be able to close the blackout curtains after being in the sun all day. The outdoor fenced area is great also!

We stayed here for our son's senior spring break and could not be happier! Very much enjoyed the hospitality we received from hosts! Was told the pool heater was broken before we arrived but was fixed midway through our visit and they refunded our money anyway! Location was perfect for all of the activities we did! I would stay here again and would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in Cocoa Beach!

Heated pool/Hot tub/Family Friendly/Walk to Beach

AshleeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful time on our vacation. This house was the perfect layout for our family of 5. We had plenty of space, and there was plenty to do. My kid enjoyed the pool/spa, ping pong table, pool table. I really enjoyed the screened in porch. Great location. It was private and away from the hustle and bustle , but still close enough to walk to beach and Publix (about 10 min to beach). We would definitely book this place again if we return to area. The hosts were gracious and helpful.

Fantastic! My husband and I needed a few weeks of R&R and that's just what we got at Mike's & Jeff's place. The home is very clean, nicely decorated, and in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, pots & pans and dishes. The pool was perfect, we sat outside most every day reading and soaking up the sun. If I have my way, we'll be back next year, but longer.

Your guide to Cocoa Beach

All About Cocoa Beach

Cocoa Beach is best known for three things: sun, spacecraft, and surfing. Located on Florida’s Space Coast, just south of Cape Canaveral, this quintessential beach town has front-row seats to Kennedy Space Center launches. Fans of astronautics come to tour the site, visit the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame, and train in shuttle simulators.

Back in town, it’s all about fun in the sun on the clean, wide beaches — but watch out for nesting sea turtles between March and September. Book a surfing lesson or paddle out on your own — Cocoa Beach is widely considered one of the best surf spots in Florida. It’s home to the Florida Surf Museum and the world’s largest surf shop. For outdoor adventurers, there are also several parks in town with beach access, nature trails, and boardwalks. The River Lakes Conservation Area, Canaveral National Seashore, and Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge are all less than an hour away.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Cocoa Beach

With consistently warm and sunny days, beach weather here lasts all year. Summers are hot and humid — perfect for taking a dip in the ocean — and temperatures hover around 85 degrees Fahrenheit, sometimes climbing to 90. Like other subtropical destinations, Cocoa Beach has passing summer storms and the occasional hurricane from June through November, but the skies usually clear quickly after the rain. Floridians will tell you that winters here get chilly, but if you live in a colder climate, you might find that the 70-degree temperatures in December and January are downright balmy. Still, it can dip into the low 50s at night, so pack layers for evenings. Summer brings vacationing families, and the warm winters attract snowbirds, so visit in spring and fall if you prefer fewer crowds.

Top things to do in Cocoa Beach

Cocoa Beach Pier

No trip to Cocoa Beach is complete without a stroll along the Cocoa Beach Pier. Jutting 800 feet into the Atlantic Ocean, the pier is lined with restaurants and shops and often hosts live music. The beach here has volleyball courts, and it’s considered one of the best places in town to surf.

Thousand Islands Conservation Area

The sands and surf of Cocoa Beach often get all the attention, but the tranquil saltwater marshes and mangroves of the Thousand Islands Conservation Area are equally beautiful. Book a kayaking tour to experience them best.

Alan Shepard Park

Named after the famous astronaut, this five-acre oceanfront park is one of the best places in town to watch a space launch. But even if there’s nothing on the Kennedy Space Center’s calendar, Shepard Park is a great place to spend a beach day, with a playground, 10 picnic pavilions, additional covered picnic tables, and shower and restroom facilities.
