Wayne and Nanette were wonderful hosts! We loved the hot tub (and it was very clean) the views were great and the home was very cozy. I'd love to come back and would highly recommend

Spent 10 nights as a solo writing retreat (with my wife joining me on the weekend). Perfect for this even in mid-November. Super livable small home, south-facing right on the lake, two lakeside wall almost all windows, so daylight was beautiful. Thought it might be cold inside in November but the house is snug; heats up nicely and there are no drafts. Brad and Lisa are excellent hosts: quick to respond, helpful and friendly. It’s abundantly clear how much they love the place. Lots of small but nice touches. And then there’s the lake. We stayed here in warm weather before and enjoyed swimming, paddle boarding and rowing. But even in cold weather the lake is a treat. Ducks, loons, sunrise sparkles, evening sunsets. I have only good things to say.

Immaculate chalet overlooking the Skagit River and a stunning view of the back of Mount Baker. Comfy beds, full kitchen, large private yard for parking. Nicholas is an exceptionally kind host who really worked with us around some family difficulties and made our stay possible.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a birthday weekend getaway and it was perfect! The house was beautiful with attention to detail at every turn. The views of the water were gorgeous and we loved relaxing and just listening to the waves. The beach walks in the evening were wonderful as well. The house is very well stocked with cooking accessories and things to do- puzzles, games, books, and more! Julie and Peter were wonderful hosts with excellent commutation and great suggestions of places to eat and things to do. We can't wait to return and explore more of what Whidbey has to offer!

This place is truly magical. It’s the perfect destination for a peaceful getaway, ideal for unwinding, recharging, reconnecting with nature. There’s so much to enjoy and discover!!

Exactly what we wanted for our staycation! Felt like old school air bnb where you feel like you're stepping into a slice of somebody else's life without feeling overly curated. Cabin was a little chilly as advertised but with both heaters on you could get it as toasty as desired. Darrell was very welcoming and explained all of the quirks upon arrival. View was unreal, sounds of waves on the shore, cabin was cozy. If planning to use the second bedroom it was a little tight but that wasn't relevant to us, and is to be expected when looking for a small cabin. 10-15 minute drive into downtown Port Townsend with plenty to do to fill a weekend. Lots of hiking within an hour, doable in the winter with spikes/snowshoes. Highly recommend, was a great winter getaway and during summer would be just as excellent if you're looking to enjoy the beach and paddling out into Discovery bay!

This is probably my favorite Airbnb of all time. The cabins were pristine and luxurious, and the lake was so calming. We enjoyed visiting with the chickens, picking fresh apples, kayaking, and lounging on the porch. So good to get away and relax! Communication with Aaron was easy and friendly. I am definitely bookmarking this wonderful place and will return in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin in Sudden Valley from December 26th to December 30th. Our group of 9 found the space comfortable, spacious, and perfect for a family getaway. The cabin is located right in front of a serene lake, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The home was well-maintained, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax, and enjoy the time together. The hosts were fantastic—very communicative and helpful throughout our stay. They ensured that we had all the information we needed and responded promptly to any questions we had. Another highlight was the cabin’s location. The Sudden Valley town center is just a 15-minute drive away, and it’s filled with great restaurants, breweries, and shops that made exploring the area so much fun. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

This place was wonderful! We were wanting a quiet place to stay in the mountains for a long weekend and it was perfect. The house was incredibly clean, had everything we needed and Celeste couldn't have been a more attentive host. We will definitely stay here again!

Nancy is a great host. Very communicative and proactive. She is super friendly and helpful. She is a great communicator. And lastly, the property is great. We loved the hot tub especially. We would totally stay here again

Great holiday weekend stay for two couples. Would definitely recommend and would book again!

We loved this cabin! It was just as described in the listing and photos and was sparkling clean! The bed was very comfortable and there were some food supplies in the kitchen. We also loved Annie’s Pizza in town! Josh was very communicative and responsive, and we had no issues getting in. Highly recommend this cabin for a peaceful getaway!

Loved staying at this cabin, it was a very nice weekend away and would absolutely stay again! The beds were very comfortable and you can tell they paid attention to details while cleaning.

While I knew this was a shared property, I had the luxury of having it to myself most days. It was perfect for what I was looking for. The property views along the Nooksack where amazing. It was close to the Mt. for hikes and to ski. The hosts were proactive to make sure I had enough wood for the fire and responsive if I had any questions. Great stay!

We had a wonderfully relaxing couple of days at the cabin. The neighborhood is lovely, walks a plenty, and the space is warm and inviting. Would recommend!

We truly loved this pristine, stylish, thoughtfully appointed cabin haven. Private and lovely. Excellent access to the charming town of Glacier as well as Mount Baker of course. Host was excellent and communicative and so helpful. We loved the fireplace, the thoughtful details, the air purifiers in every room and the utility room is perfect for managing ski gear and laundry, etc. We were exceptionally comfortable and felt so happy to have such a relaxing place to rest and relax after a day of skiing. Just a great space with good energy that has clearly been lovingly attended to. Would absolutely book again.

Lisa’s cabin is precious and so cozy — the perfect mix of modern appliances/feel with rustic comfort. It’s in the perfect area for accessing Mt Baker ski area, and there are so many lovely hikes right near by. It has all the amenities one would need. I really enjoyed using the wood fire stove to manage the heat and there was more than enough dry wood. It was manageable for us, but only issue we had was that the WiFi was too weak to stream, send texts, google search, load AllTrails etc. Not sure if it was a weaker signal than usual, but we managed by using the WiFi at nearby restaurants when we really needed it. There are plenty of activities, books, DVDs etc in the cabin to account for entertainment without WiFi and honestly part of the enjoyment of the area is being off the grid a bit. Overall a 10/10 perfect stay!

We enjoyed a week at John's gorgeous home and property. There were 7 of us, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house is very well appointed - we couldn't think of anything it was missing. The grounds were stunning. There were so many seating areas, decks and patios, along with multiple fire pits, each stocked with plenty of firewood. Lots of stairs to descend to the beach deck, but the staircase is solidly built with resting platforms along the way as needed! For those with more limited mobility, you can drive the golf card down the little road leading to the beach deck. We also used the golf card to transport our paddle boards to the lower beach deck where we stored them for the week. We enjoyed the daily visits from the sweet deer family who came to enjoy the peaceful, lush grounds. Also want to mention that the hot tub is great -- it's huge and was crystal clean. It was a fabulous stay and we would highly recommend John's property.

Lovely, cozy airbnb- even though it was only 2 bedrooms, we were able to comfortably sleep 5 adults and a toddler (and 3 dogs!) for a wonderful family vacation. Fenced yard made things much easier with the dogs especially. Easy walk to the canyon trail/ river was a big plus for dogs too, and we loved the easy access to nice cafes/ food and of course Mt. Baker ski resort! Note that the walk in closet works great for putting a toddler's pack n play for sleeping but because there's no plugs or heat vent in there, we kept the door open between the bathroom and closet and that worked out pretty well as long as we just used the other bathrooms while kiddo was napping/ sleeping! Jackie was a very friendly, thoughtful host too :)

BOOK KALANI’S CABIN! This place is a dream. The view is otherworldly. The natural beauty is stunning. We were in awe when we arrived - you can’t beat it. The inside of the cabin was so beautifully appointed, it hearkened days of AirBnb past, when it was all about quality - more quaint, cozy and intimate than you could ever find in a hotel. The bedding, furniture, wares and other household items were luxurious, it was clear Kalani puts so much thought into making her guests comfortable. This place stands out as if this is Kalani’s personal use home as well - it doesn’t at all feel like a place filled with Amazon goods on the cheap like most Airbnbs these days. There was coffee, a bottle of wine and a treat for our pup waiting for us, and drawers of snacks and tea, all greatly appreciated! Kalani was proactive and transparent with a few updates to the place and some factors that were helpful to know while traveling with a newborn. 10/10, very memorable stay!

Perfect location, perfect host(s), perfect cabin makes for a perfect getaway for R&R. We had a wonderful experience and will be returning again soon. A huge shoutout to the onsite host. She was super responsive, friendly and fun!

My daughter, dog, and I had a nice 1-night getaway from Seattle. While the cabin was very chilly inside when we arrived, the host replied to my texts quickly and gave advice about using the propane wall heater. It warmed up quickly, and we had a cozy evening with hot cocoa and popcorn (provided), and pizza delivery from a restaurant they recommended.
