This place is a hidden gem! We were surprised by how spacious the apartment/townhouse was. It was also super clean, and the staff was really amazing. We had a great time with the kids and I'm definitely considering going back and bringing my father with us, because he loves fishing and this is a fishing paradise!

We absolutely loved our stay with June at the Featherbed Railroad. The caboose we stayed in was the Casablanca suite and was just as pictured. My partner and I enjoyed the old timey radio and luxurious jacuzzi in the room. June and Paul chatted with us over a lovely breakfast they prepared. 10/10 can't wait to stay here again!

Absolutely STUNNING place to stay! The pictures pale in comparison to the beauty of this place. We arrived at 1AM and had perfect communication with the hosts about how late we'd be due to a family emergency. They were the kindest hosts we ever had! Super accommodating, friendly, and they were even sweet enough to offer snacks for when we got in. We slept through breakfast time but just the smell alone that came from their kitchen was mouthwatering! When we woke up, the entire grounds were peaceful and serene even with children running around and folks taking morning walks. It is so spacious, you'll definitely want to take your time here! Everyone was so kind and a pleasure to talk to. The train car itself was so astounding! Despite its age, the modern amenities in there make you feel right at home. The Wild West car made me feel like a kid again! It was a perfect respite to a very tiring day. We hope to be back soon!!!

This is a beautiful home and lovely owner. Denise checked in with us regularly and made sure we had everything we needed! Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are amazing! We enjoyed going down to the marina to fish and playing pool/darts at the house! Clearlake is stunning!
