Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Clatsop County

This is a great property and I would love to return with my grandkids. There is plenty of space I like that there are bedrooms on both levels and also separate "living" rooms so if you have a family group you can split up. There is a closet of games and puzzles, we did enjoy doing a puzzle. The TV was good, you can get local stations and of course log into your own streaming services. There is plenty of eating space space for meals if you have a large group. Also the kitchen is great everything you need to cook. I cooked all of our meals for the 3 days were were there. The deck is amazing and you have chairs to sit and enjoy. I checked out the garage and there are beach chairs and things to utilize when the weather is nicer, it was raining and gloomy when we were there. I would highly recommend going to Fort Steven Park, so cool to see the stuff. I also enjoyed seeing all the wild life, elk, deer and a variety of birds. We had a lovely stay, and the dog loved it too.

Magical Christmas 2024! This space was perfect for our large group, 2 families, people of all ages. Everything about the beautiful space felt intentional. We could feel the love of the home. We did a lot of cooking and we found everything we needed, even for a holiday meal. Comfortable beds, lots of group and individual sitting areas. Table fit us all! Communication superb. Owners even dropped us off emergency lighting for a storm(we needed it!)Overall, lovely experience! Thank you.

Great place to stay in Gearheart! Home is exactly as described and more spacious than you can see from the pictures. Our group was in town for a wedding at McMenamins and we loved being able to easily walk over there and to the beach.

We had a great stay! House is super cute and clearly well cared for. Extraordinarily well stocked! It's a short walk to the beach through the dunes, which are very pretty. Lots of wild life. The hot tub is a little older, but works fine. We will definitely be back!

Loved staying at this home. James contact us as soon as we booked to thank us and welcome us. We felt at home from the time we arrived. The location was close to all the places we wanted to visit and the morning walks on the beach were amazing. The street is quiet and neightbors are all friendly. The home has everything we needed for comfort.

Spacious, clean, and cozy home with abundant wildlife (bunnies and elk!), just a walk away from breathtaking beach vistas and lovely walks. Hosts were communicative and easy to work with. Cannon Beach city is a (slightly longer but leisurely) walk down the beach or a (very) short drive away. Easy access to US Route 101 to explore up and down the coast if one is so inclined. If not, this is also a perfect destination for a quiet stay with lots of books, games and naps. Would definitely stay here again.

Sea glass was lovely. Short walk to the beach. Well stocked and decorated. Katie was great to deal with. You won’t regret it.

We loved staying at Sheila’s place. It was a last minute reservation and what a great find. Beautiful space, lots of natural light, super clean, comfortable and very roomy. Nice cozy fireplace with a comfy sofa, overall just a great place to stay.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Kathleen's listing for our anniversary. Overall we did enjoy our stay. There was a lot to do within driving distance. We enjoyed the bars/restaurants within walking distance especially! The space was clean and well taken care of. We loved the heating units in apartment. It kept the space nice and cozy the whole time we were there. There was a small issue of lighting in the kitchen area. Kathleen was very apologetic and offered to come replace the bulbs. We declined since we were out for most of the trip. The light from the bathroom and bedroom were enough! The bed was listed as a queen, but it felt more like a full. Our sleep was so-so. As stated in the listing, the stairs leading up to the apartment are steep. The railing chosen was skinny, making it feel kind of unsafe. Especially going down. Minus those things, I WOULD recommend Kathleen's space to everyone! It's quaint and close to everything in Astoria. Thank you for letting us stay, Kathleen!

We had a lovely New Year’s Eve at Patti’s place. It was so cozy but not crowded. Great location near downtown, walking distance. Patti was so helpful and so friendly, nothing but great things to say about the experience, and many thanks to Patti.

It was a very nice place. Great location, nice views out the windows super easy to find and lots of parking. We will definitely stay there again.

Great cozy little studio close to downtown Astoria. Super clean and comfy. Kerri and Dean were very accommodating regarding check in and check out times. Would definitely recommend.

I loved my stay! Everything was just as described. I liked that the kitchen and small living space were separated from the bedroom and bathroom. Absolutely loved the ocean view from BOTH sets of windows! The location is perfect for walking the promenade to all the tourist shops and walking to the beach in less than 5 minutes. Highly recommend abd hope to return!

We have stayed at Jamie's before and returned this year 2025 for a second stay. This place is really cute; Tastefully appointed with all you need to cook with in the pristine kitchen. This cozy place is on the South end of Cannon beach next to a great market - Fresh Foods and my favorite coffee/pastry shop Sea Level. Yum. Its a win stay for us.

This was the perfect place in the right location for our quick trip to Seaside. The unit itself was cozy and exactly as it was described in the listing. It was a short walk away from downtown Seaside, so it was very easy to get around town from this location. The hosts were great and set us up so we could easily get to the unit, make ourselves comfortable, and enjoy our visit to Seaside.

The condo was perfect for our 3 night stay. Lovely kitchen, good bed, functional bathroom and closet. We walked to everything. Thank you for a great week-end.

Our stay was lovely. The space was top notch. Everything was beautifully decorated, spotless, and incredibly well stocked. The view couldn’t have been better nor the proximity to town. It was quiet. A perfect space for us to enjoy our stay in Seaside. Definitely would come back. Communication was easy and timely.

I had everything I needed for a wonderful stay. The kichenette was well stocked and the furnishings were comfortable. The view of the beach and ocean was amazing! Being located at the north end of the Promanade, it was very quiet yet an easy walk to town. A great and relaxing place to stay. My golden retriever enjoyed it, too! We wil definitely stay here again soon!

Great stay, lots to view and walk, small towns are interesting

We enjoyed our stay for our son’s basketball tournament weekend. The place was nice and clean. The owner was responsive and kind.
