Waterfront vacation rentals in Clarkes Beach

Ballina feels like our second home. We visit several times a year, and most of the time, we stay with family. Over the years, we’ve booked accommodations a few times in this lovely town for family reunions or larger family trips, and by far, this is our favorite place. Erica is friendly and very responsive. She recommended some excellent local restaurants, which we really enjoyed. The place itself is fantastic. It’s right next to the local market, so we could easily stroll to the park for breakfast and fresh food on Sunday morning. The view from the balcony is stunning, both during the day and at night, and the location offers easy access to town and the beaches. The accommodation also provides high-quality cleaning products, essential cooking items for daily use, as well as coffee and tea. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait for our next holiday! We stayed here again because the location is excellent near beach and pools, the apartment has high quality furniture, tv etc, clean linen and comfortable beds. Moreover it is tastefully decorated which adds to the experience. Thank you for maintaining it so well and ensuring it is very clean.

We absolutely adored our stay at Jim's! It was an easy check in. The flat had everything we needed, even a bit of milk in the fridge, condiments for eating, and a bit of washing powder for the washing machine. The aircon was great for us as it was a super hot week when we visited. The bed and pillows were comfy. We loved being able to wake up early in the morning, walk to the bakery or Jimmy's, grab a coffee and walk to the beach! The beach is so close to the apartment and so beautiful. Even surfed with dolphins! Suffolk Park has a few restaurants that we loved, but Byron is so close by and has so many food options too. We were so glad to not be staying in Byron as it got quite busy and loud in the evenings, and Suffolk Park was a welcomed retreat from the hustle and bustle. We'd recommend visiting Baz & Shaz for fresh fruit and veg. We honestly couldn't recommend staying at Jim's enough and wish we had longer there!

Paul & Cheryl were lovely hosts who were very responsive. We had a beautiful stay with our 4 month old daughter. We felt right at home amongst the trees , and walking distance to the beach. Would highly recommend. Thank you again.

We had a wonderful stay in Cabarita Beach. The 2 bedroom apartment was cosy and clean and the location was amazing. Beautiful views along the coast and a short walk to the town and beaches to swim at. We would definitely recommend staying here- you will certainly have a relaxing holiday!!

This apartment was better than the description on Airbnb!! Was a great little view from the window where the dining table was placed maybe a breakfast bar against the window would be better suited in that space. We had a wonderful stay. The atmosphere was so peaceful and right in amongst nature. We especially loved the bird calls, bush setting and outlook from the main bathroom and verandah. Everything provided was perfect. The weather was extremely hot but the well-throughout placement of this unique villa meant there was no direct exposure to the hot sun and the air con was a blessing. We also loved the sound of the nearby creek. Being able to take our pooch was a bonus. Thank you Steph and Simon

We had a wonderful stay at this idilic home , it was the perfect place to spend a couple of days with friends, picnics by the creek, walks around the orchid and swims in the pool. We also enjoyed all the beauty around the home and the large open kitchen. A wonderful home to just be

Carmels house was an ideal family holiday home. So many things to do; kayaks and surf boards provided, pool toys and the table tennis tournaments were hectic!! So many comfortable spots to relax, enough room to get away from each other if needed. Shops, beach, cafes in walking distance. A great house in a beautiful part of NSW.

Of the three places we stayed at during our trip up the coast, the kids loved Katie's place the most. A well designed space, this place looks and feels great. Especialy loved the open area kitchen/lounge/dining room with windows all around letting in natural light and a view of the pool (great if you need to watch the kids.) The location is pretty good, within walking distance to restaurants, a convenience shop and the beach. The place had everything we needed and more. Would definitely stay here again.

Paul's place is absolutely magical - the natural surroundings are incredibly beautiful. The way the creek encircles the house means you can see and hear the bubbling water from almost every room and gives a sense of calming peacefulness to the property. There is also so much wildlife to observe; we were lucky enough to see many birds, a wallaby, and even a platypus! Inside, Paul's house is welcoming and cosy. The decor is beautiful yet functional and comfortable. The air conditioners and fans also meant we stayed cool despite the hot weather. The multiple bathrooms are stunning and were also incredibly clean. The kitchen is spacious and is very well stocked with cooking equipment making meal preparation easy. The verandah is the perfect place for a morning coffee or an evening wine. Paul was also a fabulous host. He was friendly and communicative prior to the trip and also very responsive to any queries. We highly recommend Platypus Lodge and would love to stay again in future!

What a fabulous little bungalow! We were greeted with some special local treats and a bottle of wine and the air conditioning on, which was a the icing on the cake after a 3 hour drive in terrible traffic. Our only gripe would be that the listing said "direct access to the beach". Although this is true, via walking through the estate, it was not direct from the bungalow which was our expectation. Don't get us wrong, the walk is still short and tranquil. The bungalow is great, quiet and peaceful. It was nice to fall asleep listening to the waves crashing at night. Brough back great childhood memories. 100% worth a stay.

Great house in a very convenient location directly across from the beach access and surf club in a quieter part of the GC. House is perfect for a larger group and well set up with everything needed. We also loved the furnishings and decor. Hosts very responsive to questions too. Loved our stay.

Tim's apartment is clean, homely, has a great view, and was a fantastic respite for our NDIS participant who had been going through a challenging time. Tim was even generous enough to offer an extra night free of charge which we couldn't be happier about. Thank you very much
