Vacation rentals with beach access in Christchurch

My wife and I were more than delighted with our stay at Elizabeth's place. We didn't research the area much before our arrival but we were very happy to find the location is on the side of a hill overlooking the bay. Sunsets were particularly beautiful and the neighborhood was so quiet, we could hear the waves breaking in the bay. Elizabeth, thanks for being so accommodating and responsive. You have a beautiful home!

Lovely, peaceful spot surrounded by beautiful gardens. Perfectly situated for exploring Banks Peninsula / Lyttelton Harbour area but also felt like you could be miles from nowhere. We had intended to poke around Chch, too, but liked it here so much we just stayed close. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and sitting area. A real gem.

Lana's Seaside Escape is just that and a great find. Access to the beach couldn't be easier and you are still only a short stroll from all the wonderful cafes and restaurants that Sumner has to offer. The apartment itself is extremely comfortable and well presented. It is well equipped and Lana included extra touches such as fresh flowers, a choice of milks and snacks. All in all a great experience. Thank you Lana.

very nice place，the location is great. Step outside and you'll face the sea. The house is extremely clean and tidy, making it a perfect fit for two couples.

Had a lovely stay. Communication with host was fantastic. Host was flexible with check in and out time, which helped with flight times.

The apartment was perfect for the start of our new zealand trip! It was super clean, cosy and the view was amazing! The flowers on the terrace were a highlight for me too. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bed and the sofa were very comfortable. The city center and the beach are easy to reach even by bus. Lynette and Ken are wonderful hosts-the communication was very good and they were very friendly. We even got some very great tips for our trip. We can totally recommend stayind under the yellow canopy!

Beautiful location with a park and trails right out the door, with easy access to beaches and town.

Annie and Chris are amazing hosts! Annie went out of her way to make us all feel at home and even to show us around the area. She is friendly, kind, and caring and on top of all of that, loads of fun! The place was amazing as well, clean, peaceful, and just a short walk from an amazing beach and great restaurants. This is the ideal AIR BNB!

I loved Karina’s place. The location is stunning, direct access into the beach with gorgeous views from the house. The property is so well presented with so much attention to detail to ensure guests needs are more than met! Karina left us a generous and thoughtful hamper gifts. I would highly recommend Karina’s property to anyone wishing to stay in luxury surroundings in a fab location!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for us - super close to the beach, walkable to restaurants and an easy drive into the city.

My new favourite place to stay in Christchurch, beautiful home with lots of spots to sit and relax in the sunshine. Right across the road from the beach and a very cool cafe around the corner. Definitely recommend this home!

We had a lovely stay, nice big house for our family of three. Was great to have a high chair and cot provided and our one year old loved the toy box and an outside area to play in. Would highly recommend this house for any families visiting the Christchurch area

This was a beautiful home, located about 30 minutes from the airport. We loved being able to look out onto the small bay. It’s a very quiet street, and has a great walking path going in both directions. House was very clean, well stocked.

Great apartment, close to the beach and a great park.
