Family-friendly vacation rentals in Chrani

The home is beautiful and overlooks the water. The pool was nice it was private. And easily driveable to all the places we wanted to go. The kitchen a few more items like blender for iced coffee. And a few Tupperware for fruit etc…. We will be back.

We had been travelling for 3 weeks and we arrived in Chrani, Peloponnese by bus very tired and looking for total relaxation for a good few days. We 100% achieved this. The view was stunning, the sea was flat like velvet and in the distance the beautiful mountains. The free umbrella’s & sun loungers on the beach a great add on & the peace and quiet was just what we needed. The sea is crystal clear & once in you don’t want to come out. The lady who cleaned was fabulous, changing sheets and towels/beach towels every 3 days, sweeping, changing bin bags & mopping everyday. She was truly a star. The other guests were people that have been coming to the same apartments for many years. Meeting friends they have met before. Very friendly, relaxed, chilled & highly recommend if you want to experience peace and quiet & beautiful scenery

This was our fave Airbnb ever as a family! It was exactly what we needed. Peaceful, beautiful view, we could hear and see the sea from the porches. We made good use of the private beach with chairs and umbrellas just a few steps away from the house, but we mostly used the pool in our backyard. The temperature was perfect. We’ve never stayed at a place that provided a stocked kitchen (eggs, milk, cheese, fresh bread). We would absolutely stay here again!

Spiros is a wonderfully hospitable and engaging host. Nothing was too much trouble and he made us feel very welcome. And his house is so beautiful and elegant. A real pleasure and privilege to be able to reside there for a couple of days. It matched the Mystras experience perfectly!

Fantastic villa in panoramic quiet area with a great view. Very comfortable rooms with comfortable closets, impeccable kitchen fully equipped, nice living room, delightful terrace overlooking the sea, generally very nice house!!! The pool is impeccable, for young and old children, very clean, most enjoyable! We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful villa and highly recommend it! Thank you so much for hosting.

This was our second time here, and it was as good if not better than our first. George was again the consummate host - friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive - and the accommodations themselves were so comfortable. We love this spot and Kardamili and already look forward to returning again next year. Efharisto!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Zoe’s, we just wished we could have stayed longer. The pictures don’t do the place justice. Lots of nice welcoming touches and spotlessly clean. So many extras to make our stay comfortable. I will definitely be back very soon.

Charming little house in quiet neighborhood. The house has everything you could need for a relaxing holiday. Great, traditional style. The outdoor shower was lovely, the plot is undisturbed and it takes only two minutes to walk to the nearest beach. Walking distance to some restaurants, a mini market and several small pebble beaches, both with and without sun loungers. We stayed a week at the house, we traveled without a car but found everything we needed within walking distance. Also easy to get into Kalamata by taxi, the trip takes 15 minutes and costs about 15-20€. I especially liked the bed on the second floor, there is a separate air conditioning up there and a small balcony with a view to the sea. It was very hot the week we stayed in the house, but with two air conditioned units the house was pleasantly cool the whole time. We gladly came back!

We enjoyed our stay, Takis was a great host! The apartment is perfect for family holiday, comfortable beds, wonderful terrace, you could hear the waves and feel the sea nearby... Takis recommended a local restaurant in the village and it was the best local food I had during the trip.

Lovely apartment, short walk to local grill place and supermarket, short drive to the beach and fish restaurants (tables on the sand :-)). 2 doubles but she was able to make up a day bed in the larger room for our second child. Plus there was a kitten !!

Pantelis is an excellent and extremely generous host. He guided us to 'Rouga', in Koumousta village, and provided us with a ton of wood so we could enjoy the fireplace. He was always available on the phone and treated us with kindness. The route to the house is easy and of breathtaking beauty. I cannot understand previous reviews about the road. It's a Greek, mountainous, winding, road, and yet, 90% of it is asphalt and the rest is mostly cement or paved; maybe 1% of it -- a few meters -- is dirt, right in front of the house. Any car can go up there, as long as the driver knows how to use the 1st and 2nd gear. The location is indeed magic! & staying at 'Rouga' house is a privilege. It's a rustic, traditional village house, renovated, & with modern amenities, still maintaining its traditional local character. On a sunny morning, the entire house lights up. It's beautiful. We've loved the fireplace, the house, & our stay there & are making plans for our next visit! We can't wait!

We had a wonderful stay here as a family of four. Our children spent most of the week in the pool! The views were absolutely stunning and the villa was clean and well equipped. Aircon was much appreciated too. Gail was an attentive host, quickly responding to messages I sent her and happy to answer any questions we had. We were very sad to have to leave at the end of the week!

Words can't describe this place and Dia our hostess. Before we got there, Dia went above and beyond to help us with our plans, both on our travel there and during our stay. From the minute we stepped in we felt right at home. Everything you need is there and the surroundings are simply magnificent. From the view from the apartment to the private beach below. It was everything we could ask for. A true paradise we would like to keep to ourselves for future trips.. and of course Dia who made our vacation even more enjoyable and made sure we have everything we need. Thank you Dia!

We had an amazing stay. We had the ground floor apartment of a three storey property where Stathis family resides- even though this was the case, we had our own privacy to the grounds and the pool. The family were extremely lovely and we hardly saw them. The property was spotless and the grounds were extremely beautiful and peaceful with the fruit and herb trees surrounding the property. The kids had a great time in the pool. We loved our stay and we loved Kalamata!

Just had a wonderful fortnight at Eleni’s. Easy to find - a 5 min walk from centre of Kardamyli and much less to the closest taverna. The apartment was spotless and as described. Wonderful bed & excellent AC & WiFi. Eleni was very responsive to our questions and super helpful. She arranged for her cleaner to clean, change the sheets and provide new towels twice. Whilst there’s a shared pool, we didn’t find ourselves using it at the same time as the guests in the apartment next door in fact, we tended to go to Ritsa beach daily as it is absolutely perfect. Sun beds and parasols, beach tavernas and crystal clear, turquoise waters. Kardamyli has everything: pharmacy, well stocked supermarkets, boutiques as well as very cool restaurants and bars overlooking the sea. These were a little pricey- more like UK prices but, the quality of food, wine and service was impeccable - a real holiday treat. Would definitely go back!

Thank you so much, Bernadette and Rod, for great hosting! The experience was beyond all our expectations! The cabin is very clean and equipped with everything you need and beyond. The place is kid-friendly, Bernadette provides some toys games, and movies for the kids, as well as great sea wheels, to enjoy within the pool. The pool is clean and access to it is not easy for toddlers so it is safe. The view is stunning. From one side you get to see the mountains while from the other side you can see the sea. The cabin is in a rural and secluded place so it's just your quiet and great nature. The hosts give self-produced olive oil that upgrades every meal and salad you make. In addition, there are grapes growing up in the yard you can pick and eat. Bernadette and Rod are super nice and friendly. Thank you for a great experience!

Just a short walk from a picturesque mountain village, Villa Sunset is a truly incredible place to stay. The veranda gives views over rolling slopes of olive groves and down to the sea below. The pool is huge - it’s worth noting that it is VERY deep if you’re with small children - and thanks to its position it’s a wonderful place to find some peace and quiet. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely, particularly the master suite in the tower! Neochori, the local village, is a 5 minute stroll away. You’ll find a bakery that does coffees, fresh bread and sweet treats, as well as a minimarket which is good in an emergency (but be warned it only takes cash and there are no ATMs in the village). The village also has a restaurant and a really wonderful Taverna owned by the amazing Maria, which we ended up eating at most nights. A 10 minute drive away is Stoupa, which is quite touristy but has some nice restaurants and bars. A similar distance away is Agios Nikolaos, a picturesque fishing village with a great snorkelling spot. Although you can walk to Agios, it’s definitely worth renting a car or making use of local taxi services. To sum-up, Villa Sunset is a truly amazing sanctuary in a characterful and relatively unspoiled corner of Greece. I can’t recommend it highly enough!
