Vacation rentals with beach access in Chiriquí Province

Wanted a place near a not crowded beach to spend a week of quality time with the family. Richard’s place was right on target. It’s a bit off the beaten path, but Richard’s lengthy description was spot on in accuracy. He accurately described the lack of nearby places to get groceries and the minimal number of restaurants in the vicinity. Thanks to his info, we easily found a major grocery in route and stocked up on what we would need for the week. Upon arrival, Raphael met us and showed us how to find everything in the well equipped unit and also gave us info on what restaurants were in reasonable driving distance. The only issue of note was the difficulty in regulating the shower temperature, which we learned was a neighborhood issue. In summary, we loved the place - relaxing in the pool, walking the beach, and the warm ocean. Lobster Cove is pretty shallow,so not for surfing or snorkeling, but just fine for us.

Very much enjoyed our stay at Austin’s place in La Barqueta. The ocean view from 3rd floor balcony was exceptional morning and night! A lovely spot to sit in the morning and enjoy the yummy coffee supplied. We watched surfers in the morning from the balcony and setup our beach tent so we could enjoy our days on the beach. There are two palapa huts tucked into the trees, if the sun and wind is just too much for you. The pool area is nicely shaded and a lovely spot to enjoy a last swim before dinner. La Abigail’s is just down the road in the la Olas Beach Resort and a great spot to walk to for dinner. We each had the beef filet on 2 separate nights and it was outstanding! There are a couple of other spots for meals, but we didn’t have time to try them out. A couple of local spots for groceries that you can drive to, but if you’re planning to make meals, it would be a good idea to stock up in David. All in all an excellent spot for chilling on the beach for a few days or longer!

Beautiful place & great location

What a wonderful place! We enjoyed the accommodation and the owner who was the one who checked us in and chatted with us for over an hour. The place was extremely clean and comfortable. The pool was also clean and the surroundings were beautiful. The beach was awesome. We could have stayed longer. Thanks again!!

Pam and Tom are great hosts. They are super friendly and easy to talk to. They shared all their beatiful outdoor space with us. The beach is absolutely amazing and there is almost no one on it. The water is unbelievably warm. It's like a hot tub turned on low. Such an amazing place! Thank you Pam and Tom for sharing it with us! I can't wait to come back!

A truly practical accommodation to share as a family, accessible, comfortable and above all impeccable in terms of cleanliness and order. Nohelys She was a very kind and responsive host....! Enchanted by the surroundings and to be able to enjoy the amenities of the complex...! I RECOMMEND IT.

Elvire was a pleasure to work with and the house on Coco Beach was wonderful. The house was in like new condition with three bedrooms, full washer and driver, full kitchen and walking distance to a private beach. If you are looking for solitude and privacy this is the location for you. It is also within 15 minutes of Puerto Armuelles where there are local restaurants and super markets. If you are planning to go to Costa Rica this location is about an hour drive from Cost Rica.

This is our second time at Casa Don Efra, and as always Cristhian was an excellent host. What we love most about Casa Don Efra is that it is very comfortable, central and with excellent views. You have everything to spend a great vacation and relax.

We had a wonderful stay at Mariposa Blanca. When the surf was too rough to play at the beach, we swam in the beautiful pool. All the beach accessories we could need at the house. The kitchen had all the utensils and tools we needed and more! The beds were comfortable and the location is so beautiful and peaceful. The covered patio allowed us to use the outside space whether it was sunny or raining. The road in isn't in tge best repair but the directions we received before arriving helped us get there easily. We hope to visit again!

Had a wonderful stay here! The house was perfect and just as advertised. Loved the space, outdoor shower and kitchen had all we needed. We hope to come back soon!

The house was beyond expectations. It was exactly as in the pictures. The breathtaking view of Hermosa Bay blew us away. Hearing the birds chirp and howler monkeys every morning at the distance was a neat experience. The house was very clean and well equipped. Marcus was an exceptional host who greeted us at check in and was very friendly, responsive and available. He came to say goodbye on checkout. Great communication and great house. Probably one of the best AirBnB’s we have ever stayed in!

We felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, the washing machine didn't work for us. As a result, they immediately sent someone over who tried to fix it. Unfortunately, the washing machine had to be taken with you. They then washed the laundry for us and even put it together. Very helpful and also the place great. Would come back immediately.

Reenie and Mark’s place is an amazing beachfront getaway located in a peaceful area. Beautiful private yard with large covered outdoor kitchen and living room steps from the ocean and a larger pool. It was just my wife and I, but the three bedrooms are all very nice and have all amenities. One of the best and most quiet beaches we’ve seen in our travels - sand bottom in the water, no rocks, and firm for walking this long beach. They have boogie boards and you can rent surfboards at Las Lajas resort (they have a great bar for mojitos). Walk along the beach to little restaurants that have great local food. Reenie and Mark’s are very warm and helpful hosts, we felt like we were at home. Highly recommended and one of our top five Airbnb rentals.

We had a fantastic stay in this apartment! The beachfront location is unbeatable and the views are breathtaking. The apartment is very tastefully decorated and well-equipped. The swimming pool was fantastic and the communication with Yemile was great. It's a very calm and relaxing environment, perfect for long walks on the beach. Swimming is not recommended, but refreshing dips in the seawater are great. We will be back again hopefully soon and can recommend this place warmly. Thank you Yemile for this fantastic vacation stay.

Perfect place to have a good rest and enjoy all the facilities of the place beach,. restaurant, fitness, .. I didnt get to see the surrounded outside the complex. Beautiful balcony with ocean view, well equipped, very nice host! I recommand for sure

Our stay was fantastic. The apartment comes with everything you need for a comfortable and pleasant experience. As a recommendation, it would be ideal to bring drinking water, as the tap water can come out a little cloudy. Other than that, everything was excellent.

Beautiful location, direct beach access, very nice and clean pool from day one was very attentive that it arrived well, he got me a driver to get back to David. From the balcony you can see the sunrise and the beach. There was no annoying noise from neighbors, lots of peace

Fabulous beach condo! The unit is even nicer than the pics. Las Brisas is right on the beach and has a large, clean swimming pool and a nice restaurant just a two-minute walk from the condo. We look forward to returning!

Excellent place to drain away your stress. Breathtaking views, pristine pool, safe apartment building and extremely friendly staff. No shopping malls, no clubs, just relaxing atmosphere. Three restaurants on the main beach open 11:30-18:30 and serve basic yet tasty food. Ocean is warm, safe to walk all hours of the day or night and the pool is wonderful. Loved the public spaces offered by the apartment complex. This is a place to unwind and relax. Bring all your groceries and drinking water, the shops are 20-30 min away. But I loved it. Buses run regularly to David, so you are not stranded. Las Olas resort walking distance with a nice restaurant as well. I loved everything. My dog loved it and there were trash cans everywhere for my poop bags. Loved the showers to clean up after a swim in the ocean or before getting into the pool. Having toilets next to the pool was appreciated.

I highly recommend Edward’s condo! This was our second extended stay here, and my girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Playa Barqueta. Edward is incredibly friendly and always quick to respond whenever we needed assistance. The exceptional hospitality we received from him truly made our stay unforgettable. For us, this place was perfect. It’s conveniently close to David City, yet still offers a peaceful and private atmosphere. The community is small, there are no beach vendors, and there’s a resort along with three local restaurants just a short distance away. The beachfront apartment is fully equipped with everything needed for a long and comfortable stay. The balcony offers stunning sunset views, where I was lucky enough to spot whales and dolphins a few times, as well as witness daily turtle releases. We can’t wait to come back!
