Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Chester

This cottage was so lovely & welcoming. The little summer house in the garden was great for the kids to play in & they loved the toys & books available in their room. Our little dog enjoyed playing in the garden and his dog treats that were included in the welcome parcel. The cottage was clean, comfy and we loved the real log fire which made the cottage feel even more cosy. There was loads of info on where to visit, and we did one of the small walks listed. Jennie was a really friendly host. We would definitely recommend this cottage & hope to go back one day ☺️

Frog Manor was quaint and beautiful, with extremely good amenities. Richard was an exceptional host, offering a lot of guidance, help and local suggestions whilst giving us total privacy. The Kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were spotless yet full of charm and nearly all looked out to the wonderful gardens. The dinosaur does still exist, you just have to cross the bottom bridge and stroll through the wild flower forest. I cannot recommend this wonderful home enough, Thank you Richard

Aaron’s place was beautiful very modern and clean. We all enjoyed the house felt safe and made my birthday the best. So thank you so much.

Great places with all the amenities you could need.

Stayed here as a family of four, three year old and a one year old. They both loved the space available in the kitchen and James kindly provided a high chair to make our travels that little bit lighter. The house is very well decorated and has a very well kitten out kitchen which makes meal times a joy. The recommendations given in their guidebook was helpful in findings places to go and things to do. The bathroom and bedrooms were well presented and were also well stocked with essentials. We’d love to stay here again if we were visiting the area

Positives The caravan was very clean and had all the necessary kitchen utensils, which made cooking easy. Clean bed linen and towels were provided, and there were even items available for my cat, which was a thoughtful touch. The host was excellent—she communicated quickly, was very helpful, and willing to resolve any issues. The location is great, close to the beach, with nearby towns offering attractions that are easy to visit. Negatives The double bedroom was quite cold at night, and I didn’t feel comfortable using the en-suite bathroom because of this. That said, the rest of the caravan was at a good, comfortable temperature. A note for future guests (not the host's fault) We stayed during the New Year period, and most of the facilities at Robin Hood Park were closed, as were many family-friendly activities in Rhyl. It’s worth keeping this in mind if you’re visiting at the same time of year. Overall, a good stay with a lovely host!

Lovely caravan for our weekend stay, the place was really clean when we arrived. The place was easy to find especially being sent a link to a video showing us exactly were it was situated as it is quite a big camp, so this really helped. Straight forward check in for the van key. All in all a very good stay and would recommend this property.

Karen was brilliant host and caravan was lovely and clean. We had welcome pack on arrival which was very thoughtful. Caravan site is large and has loads of activities but we did not use those as we wanted to explore Wales therefore caravan was as perfect base for us. Friendly security staff helped us to find caravan as we arrived late evening. Best bit about caravan was nice powerful shower which was quite big for caravan. There were also 2 toilets which is handy if you visit with larger family( one in master bedroom). Also, terrace in Rio caravan was massive and absolutely great with chairs and table. We enjoyed staying at this caravan and exploring beaches close and further away as well as mountains in Snowdonia which was about 1 hour 20 min away but well worth visit. Other places were Conwy town and castle, Great Orme( heavenly).Morfa Conwy beach was our favourite as we loved long walk with dog and 5 year old son. Betws-Y- coed was very pretty place too(40 min) thank you

Had an amazing stay at this beautiful house. It looked better the pictures it was so spacious and clean. The pool was an amazing addition and we really enjoyed using it. Would definitely recommend booking this property and I will definitely be returning. The only thing i would suggest is more cleaning products such as sponges and more tea towels/ clothes. But overall it was an amazing stay. Thank you

Perfect place to stay with lots to do

A great place for all the family to gather. The pool really made it as children and adults alike could enjoy the warm water even in February.

What a fab couple of days . The guest suite is so comfortable and it was great that Audrey was next door . Had a couple of lovely chats and found out some local knowledge. It was really comfortable and Vinnie our dog loved it . Thanks Audrey , we will be back .

We had the most fantastic stay at Alison’s place! There is nothing that could be faulted. Alison is a friendly and warm host, provided clear instructions for us prior to arriving at the apartment and went the extra mile to buy us bread and left other food bits/ drinks with compliments. She truly exceeded our expectations. The apartment was cosy and clean, and we would definitely stay there again! Our pup Archie loved it too, so it was a win for everyone!

We had a lovely few days at the log cottage. The surroundings were so peaceful and we really enjoyed the hot tub. Sharon and David were so great and had some very good recommendations for places to see around. I highly recommend the iron works! Can’t wait to be back!

Laura listing is a wonderful, private place that is surround by countryside. The hosts are very helpful and very quick to respond with any questions or concerns. If your a star gazer you should definitely spend a night here.

It was our second time staying here and everything was perfect! Great communication with Joanne and Neil. Easy check in and the bungalow was very clean. Lovely quiet area! Thanks for a great stay.

The lodge was beautiful, spotless, and very private. Great location too! The hosts were amazing we had a small issue with a piece of equipment malfunctioning. I cannot stress how responsive the host was . Not only were they immediately trying to fix it but we got another lodge to finish our stay in. I cannot stress honestly say they went above and beyond! Fabulous hosts and amazing lodges!

Very quiet and peaceful location. Well appointed flat, cosy and easy to find. Corinne was proactive in providing check in details and making sure all was OK. The fresh milk and tea coffee were much appreciated on arrival due to December weather. Great transport links into the city by bus or train. The nearby Mersey waterside is impressive and only a short walk away. Would definitely return.
