Cabin vacation rentals in Chautauqua

We found this place to be perfect for a girls’ weekend in the woods! Very close to Lily Dale, which was our primary attraction. We all were sad to leave because we loved our little cabins!

As in other reviews be prepared for sulfur water. The sulfur smell is horid. However, i believe the owner has done everything he can to try to elevate it. Filters work well but they need constant flow or they can be bad instead of good. I developed rash from it. I read reviews and knew about it well in advance. The place is very comfortable and quiet location. If you listen carefully you can hear the click clock of amish on the roads. The electric heaters heat the property astonishingly well. This week we had nearly 30 inches of snow. We were sick of the snow for sure. Plenty of grocery stores and shopping nearby. Restaurants as well. Beds feel hard at first but slept like baby. No stains on sheets etc as others pointed out. Over all enjoyed our stay. IF YOUR SKIN IS SENSITIVE TO SULFUR NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. UNTIL A PERMANENT SOLUTION IS FOUND FOR THE ISSUE. We will probably rebook in 25.

It was quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view. It was what we were looking for for a short getaway. 10/10 would recommend it to a friend and would stay again

Awesome hot tub room. The cabin was bigger than expected. Everything as described. The kids loved the whole place also.

I absolutely loved staying at this cabin! It looks just like the photos. Super clean, cozy, warm, and has everything you need for a weekend getaway. The hot tub was perfect. I cant wait to come back!

Angela’a place was quiet with beautiful surroundings on a nice property, the perfect getaway for my girlfriend and I. Her instructions were very helpful regarding check in and layout. Though our visit was short, we had a great time enjoying the peace and serenity her place offered. We enjoyed the secluded hot tub area, as well as the optional breakfast which was above our expectations! Will certainly be returning here for our annual fall get away!

We enjoyed staying at David’s place very much. The house was dated but clean. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook for a big family. We enjoyed the game room very much. The pellet fireplace was a nice touch to make the room warm and cozy. Location was great as it was only 9 minutes drive to Ellicottville and 11 minutes to Holiday Valley. David was quick to respond to any problems. Would definitely recommend.

Such an amazing lil' place to find home in the woods! Many might be hesitant not having a bathroom in the cabin, thought the "Shitter", was immaculately clean, no smell, completely warm and once you place the toilet liner in, do that business... and flush, it is gone! Hot tub very spacious and hot!!! (can adjust lower if need be). The guest kitchen, food prep, get your coffee area, was very accommodating and tidy. The whole scene, feel, and folks I encountered made me want to return again and again!

Great little place for a weekend getaway. Cabin had everything you’d need, in a nice peaceful, remote location. Would recommend especially for a quick ski trip!

The Fisherman’s Cottage was a great getaway for me & my family. The cottage was really nice. It looked small from the outside, but was spacious inside. The beautiful view of frozen Lake Erie will be a sight I will always remember. I wanted to do something different this year for my birthday weekend, & this will be so memorable. I’m so happy that I decided to come to the cottage. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway. Thank you Julie for hosting us.

Absolutely beautiful and wonderful! This is our 2nd consecutive year visiting the Lakefront Log Cabin during February. It's a beautiful location that is friendly for your canine friends! Plenty of room and tons of amenities. It's definitely a quick and timely getaway from the doldrums of winter in NE Ohio! Can't wait to visit again next year.

The cabin is beautiful and off the grid. Made me feel like I was staying at my family’s cabin when I was a kid. Very peaceful and great to sit back and relax. House is very clean and has beautiful surroundings.

Really enjoyed our stay. Cabin was beautiful, even nicer than the pictures. Kids loved the lofts and little “play room”. Everything was clean and comfortable. Host was really great to communicate with. Already planning a visit back!!

We liked everything very much, we stayed with the children, the children were delighted with the second floor, amazing nature, the pond, we liked everything very much, the owner provided coals for the barbecue, coffee, candles for lighting, everything was at the highest level

We had a blast. Great location, spotless, modern furnishings, great host and communication. Highly recommend it!

This was my 3rd stay at The Nest and I plan to return. I love the solitude and the quiet of this little hamlet. It meets the needs for my 3 day “escape” from all the hoopla of the season.

Perfect for the long weekend and the location is close to the places we wanted to be: Midway State Park, Bemus Point, the lake etc. We enjoyed using the grill. Also appreciate the extra things they provided like air mattress, firewood, bug spray etc. It was a great first cabin stay experience for our toddler!

This place was beautiful for a weekend get away. We enjoyed exploring the trails and sitting on the deck and enjoying the peace and quiet. Very much worth the money and then some.

We enjoyed our weekend stay and would stay again. Jeff was a great, responsive host. The home was as described, beautifully decorated, and very clean. We appreciated the quiet surroundings. We had no trouble with access, but 4WD will be necessary for access in inclement weather,

We enjoyed a lovely and relaxing stay at Brian’s place. It was clean and well-stocked. The cabin is gorgeous inside with huge windows to let in the beauty of the surroundings. Brian was a responsive host. It was a short drive to Warren for a few groceries and to visit a local brewery. We would be happy to return if traveling in the area again!

From the time we pulled into the time we left this place was absolutely magnificent! the inside of the cabin was absolutely stunning. The surrounding area was gorgeous with the woods and the scenery. we loved it so much we already booked our next trip.

The Dreamweaver cabin is absolutely beautiful and very spacious. Even with an event going on over the weekend our stay was quiet and peaceful! We loved having the farm store just a short walk away, plenty of trails to hike and a beautiful lake to enjoy. Overall it was wonderful and relaxing stay!

This was an absolutely beautiful mountain lodge home just about a 10 minute drive from the “main” town of Ellicotville. Elizabeth was very kind and clear with all of the instructions for check in/about the property in general. Our favorite part was how spacious this property was and the beautiful tall ceilings/high windows that made it a perfect “winder wonderland” cozy escape. We came for Holiday Valley, so this was an easy drive to there and the main restaurants, shops and entertainment. P.S. A 4 wheel drive, reliable car is a MUST for the winter. We got quite a bit of snow and it is very important for your safety, as this property is located on a hill. Wonderful place— highly recommend for family, friends, and anybody visiting the area!

We had an amazing time, this place was perfect for my husband and I and our pup! It was very close to snowmobile trails, which were also amazing! James was an amazing host!
