Family-friendly vacation rentals in Charny-Orée-de-Puisaye

We really loved our stay, and felt immediately at home - we were two families with three kids between us, aged 5, 2 and 1. The kids loved the toys and the garden was totally enclosed and safe for them to play in. We were visiting for a bouldering trip, and were able to get where we needed to go with the car - Petit Bois was 8 mins away, but nowhere was much more than 30 mins. We also loved having the local woods and park to keep the kids and a dog entertained on wetter days. Anne-Marie met us on arrival and was really welcoming, explaining what we needed to know, and responding to any questions that came up during our stay. Thank you!

We were 10 children and 8 adults.We had a great time,a beautiful house and spacious gardens. The pool was the perfect size for the children but had enough room for us all.We felt we had a legitimate French experience in a local village.Plenty to do in surrounding areas. Cecile was very responsive to my many queries in advance of our trip.

GREAT! We had an absolutely awesome stay. I have a host as thoughtful as Hanène. We had a surprise anniversary and Hanena was the best partner to make the party a success! Thank you a thousand times! The gite is superb, perfectly equipped, and very spacious . We were also lucky enough to have a beautiful tree! It was perfect, thank you for everything!

A beautiful, comfortable gite that was peaceful and restful. Claire and Thierry were very helpful and responsive and I would definitely recommend you consider their meal options! Pleasant two-night stay Comfortable cottage accommodation in a beautiful setting surrounded by horses. A little short to enjoy all the activities on offer: Hammam sauna, mini golf, fishing, etc. We enjoyed the pool when we returned from visiting Château de Guedelon Want to come back for a stay bringing the whole family together Thank you to our hosts for their friendly and warm welcome

Lovely home. Perfect to escape the noise and fumes of the city. With that be conscious that you will need to travel a fair 15 minutes to do basic food shopping. If you are looking to explore local towns, be prepared to drive up to an hour. However if you are looking to wind down in one spot, it’s great! Great lawn for garden games, access to pool is safe for kids with an alarm, jacuzzi was awesome to fill in the cooler days and evenings. Also the tv and Pool table was a source of activities. We loved the stay here.

We had a very quiet family stay in this large house, mainly by the fire in the very pleasant living room. It's a bit like meeting in the country house of friends: don't expect a place exclusively for rent.

We had a fantastic time at Richard's place. perfect place to relax amongst the beautiful landscape. He was highly responsive and sent through plenty of information. it was the perfect escape after a busy period.

The space was as shown in the photos and description. The view from the garden is from the room is beautiful! The neighborhood is quiet. I would recommend it 100%

We loved our stay in this house to spend Christmas with the family. The house is authentic, the decor is nice. It's a warm and comfortable setting. We were hosted very well. We visited Chablis and now, when we drink a wine from this region, we will think of the vineyards on the hillsides that we were lucky enough to see in real life.

A very nice house in quiet and beautiful area Auxerres. Downtown is a 1.2 km walk away, but you can also get out of the city quickly if you want to explore the area. The hosts are a dream, one has a sense of belonging to the family. We will come back again and again. Thanks again for everything Alexndra and family!

Cedric and Sandrine’s place is super! We rented also the house attached to this house together with our friends. The house has an amazing garden which was great for our children. Lots of toys to play with. The house is in line with the pictures, descant furniture but nothing fancy, perfect with kids. And the biggest plus is the amazing pool! We enjoyed this place a lot, especially value for money!

Edward, Yvonne and their family are very nice. We were warmly welcomed and everything was shown and explained to us in detail. If you had any problems or questions, someone was right there. But if you want your peace and quiet, you will also be left alone. Perfect for everyone. The place is perfect for large as well as small groups. Whether with friends or family, there is something for everyone. It was very clean and the property is super well maintained. All in all, we had the perfect vacation. A typical French house in the French countryside, exactly what you introduce yourself to. Unfortunately, we did not use the swimming pool much because of the cold weather. The communication with Anne is very good, they had a lot of tips about good bakeries and wineries nearby. We will definitely come back again
