It felt we received much more value then what we paid with the house alone but the extra facilities of the gym which is perfect for anything you need to do, the tennis court & the hot tub. Tom was extremely responsive and very happy to help with any questions we had. Can’t reccomend enough, will absolutely be returning.

Absolutely stunning, homely, beautiful, spacious and practical. Each bedroom and bathroom is beautifully designed with love and care as well as interesting art work. Views are outstanding and it feels amazing to wake up in such a nice peaceful place. Everything was clean and it is full of useful appliances. Host was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond. Would highly recommend a stay here and hope to visit back here again.

We had a lovely stay with Colette in one of her lodges recently. The place was cosy, warm and felt very homely. Colette came to meet us when we arrived as I had said our little boy was afraid of dogs. She even left us some of her own hens eggs which were delicious for breakfast the next morning. We would highly recommend staying here and look forward to going back.

Stayed two nights in Tom’s place for a family get together. 6 adults, 1 child and two infants. Was perfect for us just to relax and spend time together. Hot tub was great! Plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed the board games by the fire. Tom responds quickly to any requests. Would recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Windy Valley House. Our kids had the best Christmas. It was the most tranquil stay with lots of outside space for our children ro play. The surroundings are spectacular and only a short drive to local shops. Highly Recommended.

The stunning lake view, peaceful silence, and soothing bird songs created the perfect stress-relief atmosphere. The air was crisp and refreshing, making every moment truly relaxing. The home was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped. What made the stay even more special was the lovely host, who was incredibly welcoming and made sure I felt right at home. Their warmth and hospitality truly made a difference. And of course, I have to mention their adorable dog, who was such a delight and added an extra touch of joy to my visit!

Myself and my wife and two dogs had a really great stay at Colm's cabin. It's exactly as it looks in the photographs. The weather was very cold while we were there but the cabin was always cozy. The location was perfect for us - it's quite remote but wonderfully peaceful and situated right on the lakeside so benefited from the relaxing sound of the water lapping. The cabin is about a 5min drive/25min walk to a really nice bar/restaurant (Larkins) which is worth a visit - if you're planning on walking there its a good idea to bring a torch (we used our phone torches) as the road is dark and has no footpaths. Colm was a really great host - very responsive and helpful. Overall we had a great stay and would highly recommend.

My partner recently spent the weekend at Rosies Air B and B. We found it to be spotlessly clean and very well equipped over and above what we expected. We initial had a problem casting onto the television ,but a quick phone call to Rosie and the issue was sorted. We also took advantage of the Jacuzzi and found this area of the complex to be spotlessly clean and tidy .We would like to take this opportunity to thank Rosie for her hospitality and we would have no hesitation in recommending a stay here to friends or a return visit for ourselves. What a great place to relax and be still or active, as you may choose! Waking up and sitting in the comfy armchair in the sun porch, drinking tea and eating chocolate biscuits provided by John and Rose, and watching the Shannon flow past and a rabbit hopping by and a Pheasant emerging from the woods and picking its way across the field and the Song Thrushes and the Magpies and a Swan feeding in the river. How more special could a weekend away near Jamestown be? John and Rose provided breakfast ingredients, tea and coffee and milk and biscuits and snacks for us. The house was warm and cosy and the hot showers were great. We would love to return in the Summer, if we may. Many thanks to our hosts.

Absolutely perfect stay. It was a lovely afternoon so we were able to walk into the town from the house. Lovely stove in the house kept us nice and toastie! We had everything we needed to cook dinner and breakfast. Couldn’t fault the stay!

Had such a lovely stay in Marie’s place. In beautiful surroundings, peaceful yet within very easy distance of the lovely village of Graiguenamanagh and Kilkenny town, with lots of places to explore nearby. The cottage itself had every comfort. We arrived to a lovely cosy lit stove and Marie was such a welcoming host, gave lots of recommendations and even checked in advance to see if a local restaurant was opened for us to eat there. We really appreciated it. Beds super comfortable and cosy, had the best sleep! Really looking forward to coming back to explore more of the area and to stay here again.
