We had an amazing stay, it's a very well equipped cabin, in an amazing, beautiful and very quiet place, exactly the kind of retreat we were looking for. Great mountais view. The nearby town is also very quiet and receptive, where it's easy to buy food and supplies. Su and her husband are amazing people and always willing to help. I can't wait to go back.

We had eight adults, a toddler, and a dog and there was space for everyone. The house has such a cozy feel. It was decorated for Christmas and we were celebrating a belated Christmas with our adult kids so it was perfect!! We had a chess tournament going all week so the game room was well used. The kitchen was huge and well stocked so perfect for all of the cooking we did. Lovely space outside for the dog and the toddler to play. Had to make a trip or two to the grocery store and that was about a 9 minute drive. We definitely hope to stay in this beautiful home again.

Wonderfully relaxing and private location! Excellent communication and ensured we felt safe while traveling. We loved the welcome fruits and breakfast goodies. Fantastic coffee selection and lovely fresh flowers in the room. Local wine gift was a hit!

Lisa has a nice place that was very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the small extras that we found like condiments, sticks for s'mores, plenty of chairs, and more. We would recommend to another family looking to stay in a similar place.

I have stayed at many AirBnBs but none have been as pleasant as this. It really felt more like staying at a friends house, where they had thoughtfully left out everything you might need. Great Cacapon is a beautiful place, and this house provides amazing views to take in that beauty. We had a wonderful time enjoying West Virginia hikes and then coming back the the house to relax and share good meals. I cannot recommend this house enough, it was the perfect place to get away with some friends for a relaxing weekend.

Great stay at a wonderful cabin nestled back into the woods. Well furnished and maintained with a phenomenal deck and screened patio.

This was the second time we stayed at this house for a family gathering. As it was 2 years ago, this was a great place to enjoy a winter weekend. The house is easy to get to, very clean, with comfortable beds and linens. The kitchen was easy to get around, and the fire pit outside near the lake was great for us. All in all, a 5 out of 5 for all of us, and we'll definitely come back.

We stayed at the Airbnb during a long weekend for skiing at Liberty Mountain . They were five of us including two little kids and a puppy. Shelley‘s description of the place was spot on and the place was very cozy and comfortable. The property is just a short 10 minute drive to liberty Mountain ski resort. The old historic farmhouse has been beautifully restored and has a lovely setting with stunning views. There was ample space around the property to walk our puppy and the kids enjoyed walking up and down the steep stairway. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there, despite the really frigid weather! Kudos to Shelly for maintaining the place so well.

This was a beautiful home with lots of room for our group to spread out. We all had our own private space as well as several common areas to hang out together. The house was clean, spacious, and had great views. Thanks for the great stay!
