We had a wonderful stay at Marc’s place, the home and grounds are beautiful with plenty to do to relax; swim, sunbathe, table tennis, pool! The teens loved it! Great area too with famous chateaux and many cities nearby. Well equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ and well maintained bedroom and living spaces Mark was a wonderful host, couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely visit again, it’s become a family favourite.

Pontaly farm was perfect for our family of 4. It is in a quiet countryside location but within easy access to Paris, Versailles and Parc Asterix. It is a short drive to the local train stations and close to small towns with useful amenities. The gite was clean and comfortable with a range of equipment as described. The host Cecile was welcoming and very responsive over messages.

Excellent stay in a charming house, very well restored, large, well equipped. Odette is a attentive host. We, our children and grandchildren, really enjoyed it.

It went very well. Pleasant accommodation in the countryside, ideal for relaxing. We didn't see the hosts but got all the helpful info per message.

We stayed at Christine's place during Christmas and it was great. We are a family of 4 and the house was very comfortable. Just to mention, it was already decorated with a X-mas tree and lights :). The kitchen and utility room is fully equipped and we did not miss anything being away from home. Christine and Jean-Jacques were there at the Check-in and explained all the things which really helped. They were also responsive to any queries we had during the stay. We would love to visit the place again in future. Cheers.

Brilliant stay and a stunning room

Catherine and her family were lovely and welcoming. Catherine was super responsive and helpful finding new things to do for us and our kids. We were able to enjoy the fish and chickens and dogs on the property and even feed the fish with the owners. The place is very peaceful and relaxing . We had a lovely 3 day weekend as a family of 4 ( our kids are 2 and 3 years old) I would highly recommend this little oasis not too far from Paris !

We stayed with Julie, Simon and Carol for 2 weeks. We loved the location it is stunning, the area is very peaceful surrounded by fields full of sunflowers. Julie is a great host and made us feel very welcome and allowed us to do our own thing. The pool was amazing, the house was very comfortable and cosy and had everything you could possibly need. We took Monty our Springer Spaniel and he absolutely loved the location, he had so much space to roam free plus a close by watering hole to cool down in the heat, as well as enjoying the company of Julie’s two dogs, Martha and Nancy. The private garden with BBQ was great and we spent many nights watching the sunset across the fields. We wanted 2 weeks of complete relaxation and this is what we got. Supermarket is very local with lots to see and do all on your doorstep! A lovely holiday had by all! Monty definitely gave it the thumbs up! You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay. We had a great weekend at Julie and Olivier's place. The house was perfect to meet with friends, with everything you need (very well equipped kitchen, games available, practical layout...). Also very clean, I would recommend!

When I reached out to Albine, to give her an ETA, she messaged back soon. She was very welcoming, with clear instructions for entering the room and breakfast. Our room was a large comfortable space with good light, screened windows to let the clean country air into our room. We kept the windows open the entire stay to hear crickets, birds, thunder and rainstorm. Beautiful countryside estate with castle ruins on the property to explore. We didn't get a chance to use the pool area, but Albine had placed "pool towels" in our room, just in case. As a guest, you need to know, you are really in the country. The closest town that we frequented was Langeais and Villandry, with each having at least one chateau to visit and plenty of restaurants, chocolate shops, bakeries, and casual places to get a drink and a french style sandwich. This was a good base to do our daily exploring. Albine had many suggestions and knows the history of the area extremely well. Thank you Albine. Hope to visit soon!

We had a great time with the family. The house is very nice in the countryside. Easy to get to by car or train. The main room is large and warm. The garden is beautiful. The heated pool is superb with views of the countryside. The sauna and hot tub were much appreciated. The kitchen is very well equipped. The exchanges with Antoine (Coralie's husband) are friendly. Owners very available and flexible on departure times. We'll be happy to go back.

Helene and Jean-Luc were very welcoming. The house was very clean with spacious. The bathroom with 2 showers and a huge bath is a highlight. The garden is beautiful and the village it very peaceful and a lovely place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay as a group. Three families with children; all found something to do their happiness in this splendid house. The common living spaces are pleasant and spacious, the kitchen is perfectly equipped and the foosball table has brought together young and old around wild parts. Our biggest favorite was the heated indoor pool. An undeniable asset to occupy the children at the end of the day after visiting one of the many sites to see in the region. A big thank you to Adeline who welcomed us so well and was very responsive and accommodating during our stay.

We hired the whole barn. It was a beautiful place to stay with high quality decor and facilities . The location was very quiet and peaceful. The extensive garden and pool allowed us plenty of amusement for our stay. Mathilde was very welcoming and responded quickly when we needed to. We would highly recommend this property and the hosts. What a lovely place. A great base for visiting Paris, but also nice to recover, cook, sit on the terrace!

We had a great time for a weekend with friends, perfect for relaxing, relaxing. Olivier is a very responsive, very attentive host with very good advice. The house, composed of 2 outbuildings (of 6 and 8) side by side are beautiful, of very good taste, perfect equipped kitchen. Olivier and his wife are in an outbuilding just next door, very discreet. Olivier was waiting for us with a bottle of wine and cheese from the market excellent, and little touches on our bed. We will return in summer to enjoy the barn and pool! Thanks for a great weekend!
