Chalet vacation rentals in Central Otago

This was a perfect stay for 4 friends traveling NZ. We had never been to mount cook and this was the perfect and quiet place to base ourselves for 3 nights. Wonderful walks, mt cook, visit to the cliffs and the salmon farm. Suggest buying groceries in Wanaka before arriving as prices are quite expensive at Twizel (nearest shopping) but everything is there if you need including a fabulous pie/bakery! House was neat and clean and comfortable with superb views over Lake Ohau.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at The Brown House in Lake Ohau. We had stayed at the original house before the fires of 2020 that devastated the entire community. And all I can say is Wow! This rebuild is even bigger and more beautiful. This location is perfect for exploring the lake rivers and surrounding area and can’t wait to return in winter for a skiing holiday. Janet was incredibly responsive and helpful, making our trip stress free and smooth. We especially appreciated the amazing original art works complimenting the spectacular views outside. We would highly recommend this place for a romantic getaway all the way to hosting a special family occasion!

A very warm and friendly welcome by Euan, a lovely garden and beautiful comfortable large bed. A stroll into Clyde Village to enjoy the local cafes and restaurants. Enjoyed our stay very much!

The chalet is well located, it's a quiet and peaceful place. It's about 10 minutes walk from the Wanaka tree and about 25 minutes walk from downtown. The hosts have been responsive and attentive to our needs. We had a lovely time. Thank you so much.

We stayed at Kristy's great house for 4 nights and loved it. It was totally clean, great decorated, the beds were comfortable, the view was from all the windows and from the terrace totally great. We were also impressed by the ping pong table. Kristy offered to check us out later, which we gladly accepted. Thank you for 4 wonderful nights.

Easy Check-in, everything was clean and well equipped, we especially liked the table outside to eat in the shadow.

We really enjoyed our stay at Nadja’s house. The house was well equipped for everything we needed for our stay and the tennis court and gym were great additions. Also had a great range of kitchen equipment/plates/platters which was really handy! The complex was peaceful and quiet (even during the new year period!). The house is in a good location - able to walk into town and a quick drive to three parks. Would recommend and stay again next time we’re in Wanaka!

We had an amazing stay at Geoff's house. The location is perfect, just far enough to be peaceful but still walkable to Queenstown. The view is amazing and we could of happily stayed much longer. Highly recommended for this Queenstown gem.
