Beachfront vacation rentals in Central Manitoulin

Our family was here for a few days on our road trip. It’s definitely a more rustic cabin. But has amazing views and we definitely enjoyed kayaking and the beach. One thing that I didn’t realize before booking is this house is on land where other family is. We didn’t run into anyone (other than the step dad showing us around when we got there) but I feel it’s worth noting. The beach is on their property too. The house also had a lot of family photos and personal belongings. Which made it almost feel like you were staying in someone’s house. All and all, it was a good stay, just feel like these would be things that people may want to know.

Great spot to stay to explore Manitoulin. The location is very central so it's quick to drive to the top spots. Fire pit and beach access at the location is a great perk. Nano is a very friendly and responsive host, helped us with some small issues during our stay.

Our stay was lovely. So private and so beautiful. It was a grounding experience to be so close to nature. Decks with seating surround the entire cabin giving a tremendous opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.

It was such a beautiful place to stay. It was close to Tobemory pier, but yet very peaceful. There were paddle board and canoe we could use. Bbq grills were clean as well. I would definitely come back again. Host responded as quick as possible. Very friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sharon’s. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It has everything you would need. The view of the lake is beautiful. The sauna is also an extra bonus. The cabins are in close quarters of each other. We had great neighbours during our stay so we didn’t see that as a problem.

We enjoyed our stay at Rene’s house very much. The living area is spacious, making it the perfect space for my family reunion of 6 to hang out, play games and cook (BBQ grill, well stocked kitchen utensils and appliances, table for 6 on the porch looking out to the water, etc). The private waterfront is gorgeous - the house is located down a private and quiet road, making it a very relaxing and peaceful setting. The pre-teens also loved the badminton net and trampoline! We had no issues with the house, but Rene was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, Rene’s house and all it provided allowed us to make many lasting memories.

Surrounded by stunning landscapes, you can't help but feel at peace. The sauna and hot tub were delightful, and their cleanliness added to the calming experience. This place offers a perfect opportunity for relaxation and a chance to reconnect with nature, almost like stepping into a Scandinavian fairy tale 🧚🥰 Our host, Valentina, embodied warmth and kindness, ensuring we were completely comfortable throughout our stay. Her welcoming gesture of greeting us with freshly baked natural bread🍞 was such a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home. I can't wait for our next visit in the summer, as I’ve heard about the canoes⛵ and the charming outdoor cinema waiting for us! Without a doubt, I wholeheartedly recommend UpNord to anyone looking to escape, rejuvenate, and restore their mental health.

Thomas and Cynthia are amazing hosts. We spent 2 nights on the boat and had an amazing time. The house and the boat are on such a unique location right next to the ship wrecks. We spent a lot of time on the water rowing, paddle boarding and canoeing. Our kid also had so much fun on the floating trampoline. Waking up to the sunrise and watching the wrecks as the first rays of sunlight hit the water was the highlight of our stay. Special thanks to Cynthia for showing us around and answering all our questions. Their dogs Bear and Abby are so cute 🥰 Hope to visit again in the future ❤️

We had an amazing experience at the Georgian, even extended our stay by a day. Enjoyed all the amenities especially, the hot tub and the wood burning sauna. Had fun kayaking in clear blue water, and wading around the waterfront. Fabulous fire side sunsets over the water. Complete privacy and seclusion not 5 minutes from town. Easy checkin with tasty complimentary local tasty treats which we enjoyed. Great response time and service from host team. Would definitely stay again!!!

Gorgeous little cottage, perfect for a family escape. It felt so private and the deck on to the lake was so peaceful, a great spot to watch the sunset. The cottage was clearly lived in, with a slightly random assortment of kitchen ware, utensils etc. we had to give stuff a clean as it came out the cupboards. Bathrooms clean and shower great. Beds all comfy and clean. Generally homely and as described!

Cottage was exactly as advertised. Very clean and well stocked. Owners were quick to respond when we reached out to them. Very peaceful and relaxing setting. Would definitely return!

We had an amazing experience during our two-night stay at this property. Vivek and his team were incredibly responsive and quick to address any concerns we had, making our stay seamless. The kids absolutely loved the playroom filled with various toys and spent most of their time there. The location is perfect—just a short distance from the Grotto and Bruce Peninsula National Park, which offers fantastic hiking trails, stunning rock formations, crystal-clear water, and much more.
