Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Central Kootenay

this place is bigger than the pictures indicate and closer to the lifts and day lodge. Also, its a little off the beaten path, so isolated and quieter than expected. We enjoyed our stay

We had an excellent stay! The house was beautiful with amazing views of Red Mountain. The location was ideal and we enjoyed a great meal right across the street at Donnie’s Bistro.

Great spot, easy walk to the slopes. They have thought of a lot of details. There is a lock to lock up your skis, a great mudroom to store and dry your gear, even a boot heater. The one downside is there were almost no throw blankets. Hard to curl up next to a fire without blankets. It was -16 while we were there so a little chili even in the cabin.

Jamie's place was exactly as listed, easy to find, and clean. That last part is key because as someone who travels with a dog, I know that's not always easy! Really appreciate that he paid so much attention to that. Jamie lives above and was very quiet. Most importantly, Red Mountain was only 15 minutes or so away! Only downside was there's a factory in Trail so if you have asthma, may not be the place for you, but the price really can't be beat to be that close to Red. Thank you, Jamie!

Our stay at the Konayuki house was excellent! The house was beautiful and just like the listing. We took a quick walk to the base each morning and we skied to the road at the end of the day. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Jenn was super helpful and communicated very well when we needed her. The entire place was spotless and exactly what the photos had shown. The view in the hot tub was everything we needed. Even when our hot tub was down, she offered her own private tub. Excellent host. Will come back to stay at Jen’s place again for sure !

Stunning house with three wood burning fire places and tons of space. Right across the street from Greywolf / Sunbird chair. Perfect spot for a group ski or golf trip.

Amazing place to stay with family. Close to resort and 5 min drive to groceries and restaurants. We enjoy each minute of our stay in this place. Recommend to everyone and we will be back 100%

Jennifer's place was perfect for 2 families of 4, spacious place to stay with lots to do in the community. We had meals plans for each day of our stay and their kitchen had everything plus more. Lots of activities like boardgames at the Airbnb that kept the kids busy then outside to hang in the hot tub and watch golfers finish up in the 9th hole. Thanks Jennifer for being a great host. we will be back next year to make this our annual getaway.

Great ski in/out location. Base of hill is also walkable in five minutes. nothing like a hottub under the stars after a day of skiing. Excellent area for ski equipment storage complete with multi-station boot dryer. Beautiful kitchen-dining-living room space. Lots of room to spread out and relax. BBQ on the deck was easy access for our steak night.

Perfect location, steps away from Silver Platter run and easy walk to pools and restaurants. THE BEST ski organizing entry room with plenty of hooks, cubbies, bench, and even has a boot/glove dryer! Cozy ski vacation condo with everything you could need. Would definitely stay here again!

Our group stayed here for 4 nights for a ski trip. We had never stayed on site at Panorama before and this was definitely a great experience. with access to fantastic hot tubs and mere steps away from the chairlifts it's definitely worth it. The space was well laid out and the beds were comfortable. There was a bit of a hiccup on checking in with the entry code and key cards, but the hosts were responsive and friendly and we were able to come to a quick resolution with their help. Would recommend!

Fabulous place and location! Steps away from the resort facilities and great eateries. Beautiful trails and views. 5 minutes from Downtown Rossland, which is also a great place to visit. Great condo with all you could need for a wonderful stay. We visited during a heatwave, so would have loved air conditioning but we managed to stay relatively cool.

We really enjoyed the stay and found the location ideal being high up above town and within feet of the amazing 48K Northern Rails Trail which made daily walks a real treat! Accommodations were comfortable, clean and amenities were plenty. Being a shared residence, there was some occasional noise from above but that in no way affected our wonderful stay. We found the price to be very fair and reasonable.

The condo was very clean and well appointed. The location was excellent and the beds were very comfortable. We would gladly stay there again.

It's a beautifully made rustic cabin in a truly lovely area. It made a great base so we could hike the area without setting up a tent - as it was a rainy weekend. It is rather similar to camping but with an outdoor shower, sink and restroom and no propane going to the heater in September (which was fine and we were toasty warm with our blankets) - just understand what the experience will be and you'll be delighted and charmed by this cabin!

Natasha was warm and welcoming. We throughly enjoyed her beautiful gardens and were greatly appreciative of the fresh garden vegetables that she offered us. The cabin was comfortable and provided all that was required for making simple meals. This is such a peaceful relaxing place and is also close to the river for a swim on a hot day.

We really enjoyed our stay at Claire’s. The log house is beautiful. And we loved the oversized entry way, with the retractable gate to keep our dogs down in that space when needed. The views of this place must be mentioned and are STUNNING!!! The mountains are right there to look at on the giant deck. The king-sized bed is also incredibly comfy and definitely worth noting. The only thing that surprised us was how small and compact the living room/kitchen space actually is. The photos (which I’m assuming were taken in panoramic mode) made the place look a lot more spacious than it actually is. It’s not tiny, but it’s certainly not as big as it appears. However, it’s still cozy and quaint. It is unfortunate there is no laundry when you’re there for longer stays, as well, like we were, but that is made clear in the listing; it’s just something to be mindful of when booking. We would recommend this place for sure. And if you stay there, be sure to eat at Trader’s in Invermere!

The location was perfect with walking distance to red mountain ski resort and wasn’t far to walk to the cabin from the parking lot across the road. The cabin had an amazing views, modern, tidy and extremely clean. We loved exploring the area! We cannot recommend Bruce, Sophie and their property highly enough.

The cabin is a dream place to spend either summer vacations or winter holidays! Perfect place to be with friends and family for Xmas or New Year. Super clean and gorgeous furniture designed for families or a group of couples that love nature, winter activities, hiking or just to relax from the business of big cities!! A fantastic place to organize a retreat or reunion! Loved it and highly recommended! We hope to return anytime soon!!

Excellent stay, house was perfect for our two young families. Kids loved playing in the playhouse outside and there were plenty of games and activities for them. House was great and exactly what you expect for a mountain stay, family room and kitchen are gorgeous and well stocked. Nada was super responsive when anything came up. Thanks for hosting us for a great summer vacation.

We loved the location, easy few min way to a circle t-bar lift or less than 10 min walk to a gondola. The house is spacious and the living room is really nice and has an incredible view of the mountains. The bunk beds are pretty hard and there’s no BBQ (which was listed in the house amenities)- just fyi if you are planning on buying BBQ stuff! It was also great having laundry. The house was clean and we really enjoyed staying there.
