The tiny home itself was well-equipped, cozy, and offered a truly relaxing retreat. We especially appreciated the generous supply of firewood, which was provided free of charge—such a thoughtful touch! The peaceful surroundings made our stay even more enjoyable, allowing us to unwind and fully embrace the experience. Cosy Cottage was just that, and more!! The house was lovely with charm and the gardens well cared for. Inside was a delight, a full kitchen with all the utensils, cutlery and crockery you could ask for. The air con in the lounge and main bedrooms was appreciated by us and our dog, especially as we had a couple of warm nights. Definitely caters for pets, with pet towels provided and fenced yard. The view out the kitchen window of the bush behind the property was wonderful, made us feel not hemmed in. A walk in the bush was fantastic with lots of birds singing away. Highly recommend Deb's place at Cosy Cottage for a bush getaway, while still in close proximity to shops, cafes, pubs and even the Avoca Market which was on during our stay.

Anna and Becky are fantastic hosts, and Ian, who welcomed us on the property, was incredibly kind and hospitable. The farmstay is exactly as described—charming, peaceful, and just like the photos. It was everything we’d hoped for. There were thoughtful touches throughout the cottage, which was cosy, well-equipped, and perfect for a relaxing weekend. The small group of friendly sheep were a big hit with the kids—they loved feeding them and even managed to catch a frog in the outdoor pond! We also spotted kangaroos in the early mornings and at sunset, and the night skies were beautifully clear and full of stars. A truly special place for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy some fresh air. Highly recommended for a quiet, quaint weekend away.

We had a wonderful stay, felt right at home, in a good location so everything is within walking distance, house was exactly as described and Kate was an absolute gem to deal with. We will definitely be back!

We stayed for a few days for a family event. The accommodation was clean and beautifully styled. Easy walk to town centre, off street parking and lots of interesting neighbouring historic towns to visit.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Great for any occasion-from a couple's getaway to families with children of any age. The cottage was perfect and stocked with everything you could possibly need, right down to hot water bottles for winter nights! The continental breakfast, that is provided, had so much variety. Peaceful surrounds and plenty of outdoor furniture along with a fire pit area and huge bbq. Our hosts, Rebecca and Jol were so lovely and hospitable. They have done an awesome job and have gone the extra mile to make Monaukai Cottage a place that you will want to return to time and time again.
