Castle vacation rentals in Central Europe

The Ansitz Goldegg is a true gem in the middle of apple orchards. We liked Lana as a location. We arrived by car and were very close to Merano and Bolzano. Many beautiful hikes were possible in the nearby. Brigitte is a very nice host, the place is highly recommended, especially if you have a penchant for historic buildings.

The apartment is nicely located in a cute, village side street of Babelsberg. It is clean and has everything you need. It has this well renovated style of the area. I also believe that underfloor heating is installed. 🙂

The apartment is very nice, there is everything you need. We felt very comfortable. The ambiance was extra nice! 😃 We were able to explore the village of Lahnstein and the city of Koblenz from Martinsburg Castle. We'll be back! Thank you 😊

Petra is such a wonderful host!! Super lovely and friendly, responsive and accommodating to my extra pillow request. She even provided us with toast, jam, eggs for breakfast. The place is lovely and has a peaceful surrounding with beautiful nature. Im glad we found this place!! Highly recommend 👌👌👌

I stayed with Philipp for the second time and it won't be the last time. I feel very comfortable with the quiet location and in the beautiful house. A pleasant home feeling. It is simple, tastefully decorated and offers enough comfort. There is really nothing missing. Especially in this season, just a dream with a fire in the fireplace, tea and book. Philipp is a great host, always available, open, friendly, fun and it's fun to chat. Enjoy the time in the manor house very much. See you soon and from the bottom of my heart!

Anke was very flexible at check-in and gave us a good tour of the castle and the Airbnb. The pictures don't do the apartment justice - it's much more spacious, brighter and more beautiful than expected. The terrace overlooking the castle garden is also beautiful. The surroundings also impressed us: The castle garden and the art hiking trail invite you to take long walks and the ice cream café right outside the door was perfect for a little break. An absolute recommendation!

We had a wonderful stay at “the castle.” The communal kitchen led to a few nice conversations with other guests and the farm store downstairs (with delicious raw milk!) was a total highlight for the kids and us. We’re sure to recommend and will be back!

The apartment was unique, cozy and beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked and the concierge staff were wonderful. That said, the place lacked the sense that it had been prepared for guests in a personal way as it might be if you were working directly with an owner - no coffee, no bathroom amenities except for small bars of soap. Very bare and minimalist in that respect. We were given a set of instructions about keeping noise to a minimum and not doing laundry or taking showers after 10:00PM and told to remove all bedding prior to our departure. I've stayed in more than 20 Airbnbs to date and these guidelines seem atypical. We very much enjoyed the stay though and the location was central to all that we wanted to see in the area. Thank you!

Tamas’ apartment is an elegant and thoughtful space with everything you need to enjoy Budapest. It’s within a stroll of Déryné , the best splurge restaurant we know, and whose bill we paid with great satisfaction. (They also have a great bakery The apartment is in a very quiet building within a couple of minutes’ walk from many parks, as well as buses and trams that will get you anywhere in the city and outskirts very efficiently, and which are free even for non-EU citizens if you’re over 65. No need for a ticket at all. (Just carry your passport or driver’s license to prove your age if challenged.) Also note that the Airport Express bus 100E gets you to a bus stop downtown which is a 10 minute bus ride from the apartment— and it’s also free for seniors. One more tip: we didn’t take city tour until we’d been in Budapest for a week. We wished we’d taken it on our first day, as there’s so much to learn that will enrich your visit. This is a great place to stay. Book it if you can

Zdenka was waiting for us when we arrived late in the evening. A friendly host and a cosy home! Heavy rain was following us throughout the days we were in Nejdek. We received fresh eggs from Zdenka when we arrived and when we left. So nice! We can recommend a stay at the old watermill. Hopefully in better weather than we had.

Very beautiful peaceful retreat in this historic building. The studio was charming, the hosts very responsive and welcoming. I'll be happy to come back. Thank you for a lovely stay and see you soon ☺️

We have now booked with Mario for the second time and there were no complications again. Very discreet but still immediately tangible for every issue. It's actually a little scary at first, but kind of cool again. Everything is trimmed to old and makes great use of the medieval concept of Mario. Very important, everything is clean! We will be happy to come back.

Cozy old castle, combined with many modern highlights. There was nothing missing - the kitchen is well equipped, bicycle/ski cellar available, plenty of parking, sauna area with great views, many offers for families. Super friendly and helpful hostess. Nice location with shopping and bakers nearby and good starting point for many excursions, such as the nearby Zell See and of course the mountain landscape.

There is nothing wrong with the accommodation. Here you can spend a quiet time and are well connected to public transport.

Great place to stay. We enjoyed a lot. The castle by itself was worth the visit. We checked in after hours and the instruction was almost perfect. We had trouble locating the parking lot but we called them and they were able to help us. The room was clean. At first we felt that the room would be cold later but we closed out the curtains and became pretty warm. The breakfast was also great. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room didn’t have any kettles or coffee machines. We understand that they probably don’t want to add something to the room which may interfere with the character of the room but a coffee machine in the public space is appreciated.

Me and my family stayed here for Christmas and we had such a great time! The castle is very nice and inside the rooms were lovely! I stayed in the last room which has a lot of baroque decor and furniture, truly beautiful! Florian was easy to reach and quick to answer and we are very grateful for being able to stay here.

We arrived at this castle and did not believe that our apartment was in there so much the place was wonderful. Recommended for those who love tranquility and nature. Tyrol is an exceptional area for hiking in the woods both on foot and by bike. THE HOST is very kind and helpful, we had a nice vacation and slept peacefully because there is absolute silence there. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

The second time we were guests at the Viecheln mansion because we just like it there very much and we wanted to experience the house at Christmas time. The Christmas concert was a great occasion. The mansion is a harmonious work of art to touch and we enjoyed every minute. Thanks for the great breakfast 😊

Ben and Clara's place was as great as it was described. We felt very comfortable for the 12 days. The accommodation and also the Jadtschloss were very well maintained and really invite you to relax. Communication with Ben and Clara has always been great. :-) Thank you again for the great time

Staying with Susanne and Klaus was dreamy. The house, room and garden are idyllic. There are beautiful hiking trails nearby and delicious restaurants. The breakfast with the two is also highly recommended. Gladly come back.

We had an amazing stay that exceeded our expectations. The grounds are beautiful and extra special to have Blanco there. Location is great and we would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the lake Garda area.
