Great nights sleep! Beautiful garden and surroundings. We were in the room in the house with private bathroom attached, with our dinner/breakfast table in the cottage a short walk away. Middlemarch is worth the stop, it’s absolutely beautiful here. It’s where we finished the Otago rail trail cycle, most people we met along the way got the shuttle elsewhere, we decided to stay and had the best nights sleep of our holiday! Nikki & James are absolutely lovely and you’ll enjoy a stop in Middlemarch.

Lovely clean accommodation, had everything we needed, in a lovely neighbourhood high on a hill. Supermarket and restaurant close by. Quick drive into town and down to the university

Beautiful historic home and gardens in a wonderful location managed by terrific hosts. Centrewood is really something very special. Out of the way in a rural landscape overlooking the ocean. There is a lovely walk to the beach through a reserve nearby. The beach is not suitable for swimming but it is really beautiful. If you're lucky you might spot a penguin or sea lion. The homestead is over 150 years old and is very well maintained. If you like homes with character, you won't be disappointed. It is a bit of the beaten track on a gravel road and there are no neighbours. It's very peaceful if you like being away from the crowds and lights. Dave and Jane are lovely host and they have made the most beautiful garden with tennis court that guests are welcome to enjoy. We would love to return.

The room is clean and comfortable, the mattress is of good quality in Airbnb, and I slept very comfortably.The candy prepared by the owner is very good

Steve and Elke are excellent hosts. Overall a very pleasant experience. “The wing” had all the amenities one would expect and then some. After hour check-in was made easy for us and even though we didn’t get the chance to meet our hosts in person, communication was easy and straightforward. They created a friendly and welcoming environment.

Chris and Julia were always responsive to my questions and gave us a warm welcome upon arrival. They were very friendly and attentive to our needs. This Air BnB was private, had everything you needed and it was easy to get to where you needed to go. Gael was a great host. She checked in to make sure we were ok and her communication was clear and replies prompt. She was very accommodating. We'd stay again.
