Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Cayuga Lake

We had a wonderful stay!! The house has so much character and is tastefully updated to be comfortable. Great layout and sleeping options, plenty of room - it was perfect for our needs!

Staying at Mara's house was exactly what we needed to welcome in 2025. The house itself is immaculate, well appointed, comfortable and has incredible lakefront views to tie it all together. Getting around the Cayuga Lake area was so easy from where the house is located and there are even some incredible wineries and breweries minutes away. The layout and setup of the house was very thoughtfully done and everything we needed (and more) was there. 10/10 excellent stay.

Thank you very much for your flexibility in allowing us to make a pretty last-minute reservation! The home was clean and spacious. It is located in quiet area with nice views. It is very close to Ithaca College (where our son attends) and the downtown area as well- so it was very convenient.

Great place for family and kids. Large bedrooms, activities in the basement for kids, and lots of open space for the kids to slide around and have fun.

We were looking to host a retreat for the trustees responsible for running a creative problem solving program for kids in the state of New York. Our experience at Heywood Manor was nothing less than exceptional. The location, the house along with its amenities combined with a gracious host made it a memorable weekend. I'm trying to think of a reason to return just to experience it again!

The house was fantastic and in a perfect location. Highly recommend for any groups staying in Aurora.

Vernon & Merrie were wonderful hosts and were always very responsive before and during our stay. The house is a perfect fit for 2 families. It is very spacious and we felt like we had 2 homes in 1 with 2 full kitchens. This was a huge plus as our stay was over Thanksgiving and the extra space with 2 refrigerators, multiple ovens, etc… all came in handy. The house is very well stocked and it’s clear the hosts put a great deal of care and thought into creating a great vacation for their guests. Highly recommend!

Laura, Denny, Emily and Justin were great hosts, adapting to changes in our plans, supervising family visitors for a tour of the animals, clearing and salting the snowy entryways, just being their friendly and helpful selves. The location was lovely and the house had more amenities than one could expect. We hope F House will be available next time we visit our Syracuse family.

The apartment was very clean and cozy! I felt right at home at Jane's place. Speaking of Jane- she is phenomenal! Very responsive and a caring individual! She left us welcome gifts from local spots and everything she left was delicious and she recommended some great local places as well. My husband and I will definitely be returning and are super thrilled we had such a lovely getaway and lovely host!

I stayed for one night and it was last minute. Jerry was very accommodating, the place was beautiful, it was clean, and it was extremely comfortable. If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing place with quite a few amenities I highly recommend staying here.

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, close to everything, this place is for you! Absolutely beautiful apartment, pristine cleanliness, gorgeously appointed, with every amenity you could ever need. We have traveled to many cities, domestic and abroad and this is one of the top stays we have experienced!

Very private and quiet space. There were stairs to get to the walk out basement which was the entrance for the apartment. The front of the house that you see as you enter the driveway is not the same as the picture of the whole house so there was some confusion if I was at the right place. Inside was very spacious and clean.

Bianca has one of the best features which is owning a hottub where she’s located was a great spot she has friendly neighbors if u see a dog it’s on a leash I promise and overall best host u could ever ask for go ahead and check em out hotub closes at 10 :( other than that she deserves everything come for her

We loved our stay at Rachel’s place! The sauna was so nice. I was working remotely and the internet worked well. Rachel was so welcoming, helpful and communicative. She did so much to make our stay great. highly recommend! also love the location! thank you!!

Great long term stay! Lots to do in the area. Bathroom clean and water pressure is great. Kitchen has all the amenities you would need. Garage connects to the building which was super nice and convenient in the winter time! Would stay here again!

This was an excellent fit for our family of four, with comfortable sleeping and hang-out space. Everything was extremely clean, and the environment welcoming and quiet. We enjoyed playing games at the kitchen table, having a well-equipped kitchen, laundry, and fitness room. We would love to be back when it's warmer to take advantage of the outdoor amenities and convenient walking location.

Shalisa was wonderful and her place was really nice! Warm, clean, cozy, and having access to the hot tub was awesome, able to relax after a long day or morning out! Couldn’t have chosen a better host for a weekend concert adventure!!

Great find last minute! Location was better than expected- park the car and walk anywhere around town, everything is less than a 15 minute walk. Home was nice and clean- just as advertised. If you’re looking for a spot right in downtown town close to everything. This is it. Will be staying next time we’re in town!

Absolutely stunning! So peaceful and relaxing - we feel so refreshed :) The place was so clean, so stocked and so cozy. We are definitely coming back next year. Oh and Diane is incredible- so friendly, understanding and prompt! Would rate this 50/10 if I could!!
