Caye Caulker vacation rentals

We absolutely loved our stay at Sue Casa! The accommodations exceeded our expectations, and Susan was so helpful and responsive with anything we needed. We prefer quiet, low key places to stay and that is exactly what we got! Far enough from the hustle and bustle of being near The Split, but walking distance to anything you could want to do. The bikes were a great addition for exploring the island as well. The pool is nice and big as well! Having a vacation kitty that greeted us in the morning and when we returned for the day was just icing on the cake for us 😉 Truly a beautiful place to spend your vacation!

This was my third stay at the Tortuga Azul. I’ve come down with friends to dive and relax. The location is very close to the Caulker airport, just a short walk. I would definitely recommend renting a golf cart though. Most of the action in town is a short ride away, and for super early morning dive departures, it’s nice to be able to ride. There is a restaurant basically next door, Suggestion Gourmet. Its not the typical island fare, more of a French place, but it’s the most serene setting. I can’t speak to all of the beds, but the one I’ve slept in every year has been comfortable. The rooms all have individual AC, so you can sleep at your own preferred temp. The property manager, Michael, is quick to respond via What’s App. I will continue to stay at Tortuga for my repeat trips to the island.

Lucrecia was a gracious hostess even setting up safe transportation from the airport to the front door which I didn’t even know was a thing. She answered every question and more quickly and thoroughly, and provided anything we needed. We would love to stay again.

It was exactly what we wanted - six friends with a separate bedroom for each of us, away from the tourists and activity on the south side. Nice kitchen and common area, and the place has its own pier so you can get picked up by water taxi basically by just walking out the door. Was a little touch and go getting connected with the on-site crew, but once we did everything went smoothly. They did fine with check in and check out.

We had an amazing stay at Ricky’s on Caye Caulker! The cabin was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, from a great fridge to a washer/dryer, and even a fully functional kitchen that made cooking a possibility. The WiFi was fast and reliable and the bathroom was spacious and well-equipped, adding to the overall comfort. The location was perfect. It was far enough away from the hustle and bustle of town to feel peaceful, but close enough that we could easily walk whenever we wanted. We also loved that the supermarket was just a short walk away, making it convenient to pick up anything we needed. It was a great way to explore more of the island and get a feel for the local vibe. Ricky, our host, was fantastic. He provided us with tons of helpful recommendations that really enhanced our experience on the island. All in all, it was a wonderful stay, and we highly recommend this place!

The location was great! Walkable to the busy part of town with the restaurants and bars. A couple minutes to the Oceanside where the walk up the island to Ice and beans for coffee was wonderful. Was nice to have the option to rent bikes with baskets for our groceries. Loved that the yard is full of trees which had an abundance of birds and a couple of iguanas. Love to sit on the balcony in the morning with my coffee and bird watch. Hammock is a nice touch. Levita who checked us in was friendly and super helpful. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay at the Blue Lotus if we were to return.

The Tiki House was one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed at. Away from the main grid, it felt like a home. Plenty of space for 2 couples. AC in living room and both bedrooms. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels, filtered water, full kitchen and fridge. Nina pointed us to a laundress, a snorkel tour and a fishing tour. The rooftop veranda was the place to be at sunset. The pool, bikes and kayaks were all used. Restaurants are walking distance and none will disappoint. We loved the simplicity of island living. Do not hesitate to stay in the Tiki House. It was fabulous! The Pelican Sunset Bar or Elba's were our favorite neighborhood places! Thanks Nina, Elder and Lili.

Blue Zen resort is beautiful with lots of amenities—-amazing pools, views, pool bar, restaurant, over the water hammocks, etc. The condo was modern and spacious with great appliances and bathrooms. To get to the main area of Caye Caulker, a free boat shuttle is provided. However the last one returns at 10 pm so this is a watch out for those who would prefer to stay out late. There is an on-site Mercantile to purchase extra coffee pods and dishwasher and laundry detergent (none provided). There is currently construction in-progress at adjacent site but we really couldn’t hear it when in the suite. The staff at the resort were very helpful and responsive.

Great location with everything you need and more. Spacious apartment with amenities. Shower water pressure was a bit low. Bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards readily available. Host made everything easy, ie check in and out, transportation around the Caye, etc. Personnel/staff in the office were almost always available and were very helpful and were a big part of making the experience great. Some late night thumping music from nearby bar but not bad. Would definitely stay here again.

Steffi was an amazing host! She helped make alternate transportation arrangements to the island when our flights got delayed and we arrived too late for the water taxi. The property is lovely and we liked that it’s located in a quiet area, within walking distance to many restaurants and shops.

Great way to be somewhat removed from the south side while still being close enough to quickly ferry over. Gorgeous location and docks!

The Condo was great. It was exactly as described and perfect for us. There are two excellent restaurants within a one minute walk. The AC was cold, the refrigerator, convection cook top and microwave worked well. There was plenty of hot water. Could not have had a better stay.

Lovely space with helpful amenities. Happy that air conditioning worked. The bit of kitchen utensils were a nice addition. Even the detail of having a broom and dustpan was great when you’re that close to the beach. Sand easily tracks in. The roof top deck with hammocks was perfect! A comfortable futon in the “living room” was perfect for my son. Short walk from the ferry. Loved being able to drop our bags at the front desk.

Palm life is absolutely WONDERFUL! Our hosts met us & had drivers, ferry arrangements set up for us even with our late arrival. We spent just over a week & I only wish we had more time. Our favorite thing was just swimming off the dock, it was like having a private ocean. The swimming is incredible, crystal clear water that’s like glass. I am part fish & the swimming options are very important to me! I found nowhere on the north or South Island that even came close (& we went ALL over) The bikes were super fun to cruise around on and see the rest of the island. But nothing compared to just going home for the day to palm life. We got a special bonus getting to meet the owners and have our stay while they were also in Belize, and I just can’t say enough good about them or the whole experience. We have stayed in countless airb&bs and PalmLife may be my number one. Will def return & I won’t even bother looking for anywhere else. So many thoughtful things- bug spray, rain ponchos, etc.

Stayed one night there. Nice host and kept our bags for us the next day after check-out. It’s not a whole lot but good enough to rest for the night. Close walk to the Split and restaurants. Beach is just right in front.

Jeff's place was awesome. Exactly as described in the listing. We appreciated that Michael sent a golf cart taxi to pick us up from the ferry terminal. Even if they don't there are plenty of taxi drivers asking if you need a ride as soon as you get off the ferry. The condo is a bit farther from the main area i.e. near the ferry terminal but we walked there and back multiple times every day. It was not a problem for us as we enjoyed the walk but you can get bikes or golf cart rentals but we just didn't feel the need. The condo has everything you need in terms of pots and pans to cook a basic meal / breakfast if you'd like to. There is also a super market pretty close to buy your provisions. Overall no complaints at all, my family and I enjoyed the condo. Kids had fun due to the loft bedroom :) !

Great stay! We liked being a bit secluded and having the dogs there! Bikes were a nice touch, one lost its chain a few times, but there were multiples to choose from. I loved riding on them. The place was clean and we were warmly welcomed. This is a gem of a stay and we would recommend this place to others on their vacation.

This was our second time staying in Belize and Caye Caulker so we were willing to spend a bit more this visit since we already knew we loved the island. This place was worth the price. Zen and the staff at The Bohemian are wonderful hosts and really go the extra mile to make your travels hassle free and your stay a wonderful experience. While there we went on some excursions through Bohemian and they were all amazing. We also enjoyed being able to use the bikes to explore the north island and we took a kayak out a few times without any issues. I will say that this side of the island has more mosquitoes, but it’s worth it for the view of the sunset and the private dock, where we often spent time relaxing in the evenings. The property has a lot of lizards and geckos wandering around. We even saw a hermit crab, bats, and a few fireflies! The indoor space itself was perfect for two people and very nice. We had everything we needed and stores close by. We’d absolutely stay again!

Perfect place to stay on the island. Quiet and peaceful. The bike was great to have to get around the island but everything was walkable!

A lovely spot not far from the ferry across the split. Private and cozy. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Abel's place was amazing, my wife and I loved it. He took the time to help set us up with some local tours and restaurants through Belizians and all of his recommendations were great. I would stay here again and recommend anyone who wants to be a little off the beaten path to stay here too. The bikes he provided us made it so easy to get everywhere and the pool was a nice touch to hop in after a bike ride. We also had a fishing boat pick us up right at the dock in front of the property, you can't get any closer or easier than that!

We loved this little cottage. While it is not fancy, it fit the island vibe perfectly. The small pool for the complex is a great place to relax. The location was perfect - just far enough from the main streets but just close enough for an easy walk to the restaurants and stores. Would definitely recommend!
