we loved the cabin, it was nice and secluded. lots of local trails and paths to walk. the view is amazing. the cabin was the perfect place to cook meals and relax in the evenings.

Nice quiet location to just relax town is 20 min away if need to get anything so convenient while private also is quick to respond when messaged overall great stay

Overall great stay if you are looking for some place quiet to relax. Scott was great a communication and resolving any issues that popped up. He was very accommodating and flexible. Will definitely stay again if back in the area.

We stayed here for two nights to celebrate the New Year and loved it. If you’re looking for a spacious, clean, quiet and comfy house in Berkeley Springs, we highly recommend staying here.

The home was an absolute treat! The aesthetic of the space was incredible and we felt at home immediately. Anything that we needed was provided in the house. Our favorite part was the record player and the plethora of records to choose from. The other shining star was the view of the outdoors from the loft area - the large floor to ceiling windows were so picturesque. The numerous live plants throughout the home made the space fee so alive, so much positive energy everywhere. This home has a lot of character - modern mixed with vintage items and decor. The home was clean and had such a fresh vibe. Our hosts were so kind and incredibly responsive. We can’t wait to visit again!

I genuinely don’t know where to start! From Eric and his team’s incredible responsiveness to the beautiful home we stayed in, everything exceeded our expectations. This getaway from the city was exactly what we needed. The kids, ranging from ages 2 to 12, had an amazing time, and not once did I hear, “I’m bored”—which is a rare feat! We visited during the winter and found plenty to do without even needing to leave, except for grocery runs. The home provided the perfect space to reconnect as a family, and its peaceful energy made our stay even more special. Thank you, Eric and April, for such a beautiful experience!

Such a beautiful chalet! We had a great time celebrating my husband’s birthday with friends. The beds were comfy and loved the cozy family room. The fireplace was a fave! Lisa was helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. Would definitely stay again!

This is our third time staying here. We love the peace and quiet, easy access in the mountains that doesn't require a 4x4 vehicle. We stock up on groceries from home or the local Food Lion in downtown Berkeley Springs, then make all of our meals. Our kids enjoy the sleeping loft upstairs and the main floor bedroom is quite comfortable, we all slept quite well on each respective bed. The view outside is great, the screened in porch is so nice to have, ensuring a bug-free, relaxing time out in the cool mountain air. The wood burning fireplace helps with the cozy factor when inside, and even though we go there to get away from all the fast movement in the city, it is also nice to have satellite TV just in case you are feeling up to watching a movie by the fire. We will definitely be going back again in the future.

Applemoon cabin is the perfect getaway to enjoy the serenity of the mountains near the beautiful community of Harper’s Ferry! We loved every moment of our stay here. Highly recommend.

Had a great stay here! Cabin was exactly as described and shown in the photos. Nice location, very private. Lots of helpful communication from the host prior to our stay, so it was easy to find the cabin and check in. They have an emergency number in case of any issues outside business hours. It was just two of us this time but we would stay here again with friends or family!

I took my wife here for her very 1st cabin experience and the place did NOT disappoint. The place was just perfect and as described in the site. Although the cabin was not "in the woods," it was perfectly situated in a quiet and peaceful town where we had access to everything. Heather was very communicative, responded quickly to questions sent her way, and her restaurant recommendations were excellent. We stayed from Wednesday to Sunday and found things to do in nearby areas every day. Thank you, Heather, for sharing your cabin! We definitely loved it and will definitely be back soon.

I stayed here for my first ever solo getaway at 52 years old (with my dog). It was the perfect escape and the house had everything I needed…I never even left the house once in 4 days! We enjoyed walks through the neighborhood and even used the fire pit on the last day. I’m sad we didn’t use the fun garage, but my dog wouldn’t have been a very good ping pong opponent. Long story short, I won’t hesitate to rent this house again!

This place was beautiful! We had a little welcome gift waiting for us! There was an “oppsie” basket in each bathroom in case you forgot something which was wonderful. The views in the backyard alone were gorgeous and the home is so close to the state park with even more beautiful views!

My mom and I came to Berkeley springs to get away for the weekend and this cabin was just what we needed. We very much enjoyed the fireplace and the outdoors! My dogs also enjoyed the space to get away and explore all of the smells! Even when our car broke down Micheal had extended an offer to help us get back on the road and extended our check out time. We are grateful for you! The cabin was clean and spacious, yet very homey with all of the appliances and helpful cookware you could think of if you wanted to host a dinner! Thank you for such a beautiful stay!

We enjoyed our weekend at Mai-Li's cabin very much. It was a great location and vibe for a quiet weekend away. We enjoyed our visit to nearby Berkeley Springs and Cacapon Resort State Park. Both were very easy to get to and a nice way to spend the day. Otherwise we enjoyed the property and walking around the nearby community. It should be noted that it was very unseasonably cold the weekend we visited and the cabin was a bit cold as a result, even with the wood stove stoked throughout. Other than that, we had a great weekend and would love to return in warmer weather for more exploring and paddling along the Sleepy Creek.

We had a wonderful President's Day weekend getaway. Lisa was incredibly responsive, made the arrival process easy, and even had freshly baked cookies waiting for us upon arrival. The cabin is nice and cozy, with a sizable loft, spacious back screened-in back porch, and a comfortable living area. The kitchen also had every kind of equipment, utensil, and spice, you could need during your stay. We, along with most of the surrounding area, unfortunately lost power during our stay due to extremely strong winds that came through. Lisa responded right away providing us updates on what she was hearing from the community and she came over promptly to bring us extra firewood and candles, turning an unfortunate situation into a nice, peaceful evening. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for a quiet weekend, and we definitely plan to return in the future (I would even make the trip again just for the cookies).

The space was perfect -- cozy and clean. The area was quiet, the heating system was comfortable, and even though it was a rustic cabin, it was very clean and warm. It has its own entrance, and is set apart from the house, so there is no noise from hosts' activities. The bed was lovely. There were a few streaming options/ROKU. (I discovered that the batteries were dying in the remote my first evening, and there were fresh batteries put outside the door within a few minutes of messaging Angela!) It was a peaceful and rural setting, yet convenient to restaurants/convenience store. It was perfect for what I needed and I would for-sure go back again.

Really enjoyed our getaway! The house is so beautiful. Cannot wait to come back when we can use the outside areas more! Bathrooms were gorgeous. Kitchen stocked with spices, oil, coffee, and other perks! The club house is amazing! Indoor pool and amazing gym!!! Wished I had brought my bathing suit! Had a small issue and Lou immediately FaceTimed with me and helped me solve the issue. It was so nice of him!! One of the best hosts ever!

This was absolutely the most amazing place and was perfect for a weekend get away with my partner. We were worried we would make it late due to traffic, but the host was very communicative and patient and ready for us when we got there. Luckily we made it 15 minutes before closing but they had said we weren’t last. One of the sweetest things was that they left the door open and the lights on for us! This small gesture was so excellent to me. We had a warm greeting by Mrs. Debby and we felt so welcomed and right at home. Also, the check in area has a little store that has everything you could possibly need for our little cabin trip. Overall, it was an excellent stay. Everything was clean, well organized, and I will definitely be staying here again one day!

We loved our visit at Sarah’s, hadn’t stayed in a rustic cabin for a few decades, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our goal was Harper’s Ferry, and the drive was easy. Her restaurant recommendations were perfect

The red cabin was exactly what we needed. The moment you walk in, relaxation sets in. The neighborhood is quiet, the cabin is cozy, the kitchen is fully equipped and the bed is comfy. Amy was very responsive to any questions we had and friendly and helpful. I recommend walking down Bluebird to the BS Brewery and trying the brisket sandwich - amazing! A well needed getaway and a peaceful stay. Hope to come back again.

The cabin was the perfect weekend getaway. Lee Ann and Scott were very kind and communicative. They gave us clear instructions for how to arrive at the cabin and were available to answer questions throughout our stay. Look forward to returning!
