House vacation rentals in Castro Valley

We were lucky to find Marc's place available on New Year's Eve and enjoyed our twon night stay. The home is beautiful and my favorite part were the views of the hills. It's such a lovely location and though you have neighbors on either side, if felt quite private. Would highly recommend and book again.

The home was roomy and accommodating for myself and my siblings. Wish it was warmer and we would have enjoyed the pool. The neighborhood was safe and grounds well cared for. It made our weekend ideal for us to spend time together.

We had a fantastic family gathering for Christmas! Felt just like home! The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and we never ran out of towels😂🙌🏻🤗! If it was summer, the backyard is perfect for a BBQ, hanging by the pool and playing yard games. Of course we got plenty of use out of the well-maintained hot tub in the cool, rainy weather🤗🙌🏻! Georgie is a very thoughtful, responsive host!

Whitney was very helpful and always responded if I had any questions about anything. I highly recommend staying at her beautiful home because it’s so clean and spacious and it is located in a very quiet neighborhood. It’s also surrounded by so many lovely restaurants and shopping centers. She is very accommodating and is one of the most kind hosts I’ve ever booked with!

This spot was perfect for visiting the area for a weekend interview. The location in Mountain View is great - Castro St is a short walk or within minutes you’re on the highway to get to SF or San Jose. The neighborhood is great - super quiet and seemed very safe. The inside was clean and had anything you’d need. Would highly recommend booking!

Such a nice place to stay in Silicon Valley. Tucked back into the beautiful hills, with a walking loop through the oak trees just down the street. Responsive host. A perfect retreat.

Wonderful stay at this place - it looks even better than the photos. Incredibly welcoming space and responsive hosts, with all the amenities (including coffee) provided for. Great tips for things to do, and a peaceful, relaxing place to spend time in. Will definitely come again.

The house was great for our family stay. Lots of space, all on one level, and beautiful outdoor space. We travelled with our kids and they had a great time in the pool :) Note there is extra cost if you want the pool to be heated. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful place to stay with family and friends for a new year’s vacation in the Bay Area. Beautiful views over the city and a private and peaceful location. Great host that was very accommodating while maintaining our privacy. A great experience and would definitely stay again.

Comfortable bed with nice linens. Clean bathroom. Great having a washer and dryer when travelling for a longer period of time.

Sean was extremely kind and accommodating. There is so much space for what you're paying. There are many restaurants walking distance and a beautiful park! The Airbnb portion is very private and we felt very sage. Having a space in the garage was a huge deal for us too! Highly recommend.

wonderful home away from home in peaceful lands end. neighborhood felt safe and friendly. close to public transportation, so you could easily access nature as well as the city. Yutai was a great communicator and made sure to check in on us and our stay making us feel extra welcome!

A wonderful apartment on a quiet street. Very close to the N light rail stop at Carl and Cole streets, so convenient for downtown meetings. So pleasant in the morning: so many families walking their children (and doggies) to school. Close to some nice running areas (the Panhandle, Buena Vista Park, Mount Sutro). Five minute walk to excellent eateries (Zazie, La Boulangerie). The WiFi was good. There is a very peaceful garden in the back, great for meditation, yoga, or book with a cup of tea. Hope to stay here again.

The rental is attached to a residence but, you could barely tell. It is your own private space and the rooms are so spacious. It was so nice to have all the amenities and even washer and dryer! Felt like home away from home and, as crowded as SF can get, we had our own parking spot right in front. Amazing location.

Toyin’s place was just perfect for a weekend getaway! The house was big enough for a group of 6 (&a toddler) and it was truly spotless! Toyin was also very responsive to any questions we had! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect place for my kids and family. We had four adults and two kids and plenty more room! Place felt cozy and we really enjoyed our stay. Blocks away from Costco and the mall including lots of places to eat. Only a few minutes from major parks and things to do. Jiayi was incredibly accommodating and very kind.

Perfect place for a few of us who were doing a 5 day long commuting retreat at Spirit Rock. It was just a short drive away so we were able to come home for lunch, and enjoy the sunshine and views. We were also super comfortable cooking and resting in the evenings. The kitchen was super well stocked and equipped, and had everything we needed and more. It does seem to be an active home with clothes and books belonging to the owner, which I was a little surprised by at first, but didn't really impact us much, there was still enough space for us and for us to create our own memories in the beautiful house. Appreciated Hila's responsiveness!

I wanted to give my friend a special Christmas gift & going to Filoli Manson & a night close by to stay was it. Peter’s house was unique, interesting pieces of furniture & artwork, a turntable with selection of 78’s, an absolutely amazing seahorse light (I wanted to take that home), & the cedar hot tub. It was a cold & rainy so did not get to explore the extensive gardens & grounds. Planning a trip back in warmer weather to do just that. Thanks so much & happy holidays. Judi, Marty & Marianne

Sharon was a very accommodating and kind host. My team felt right at home in her space and the neighborhood was beautiful, safe and comfortable. The apartment is fully equipped, very clean and homey. Highly recommended, thanks again!
