Vacation rentals with breakfast in Castro

This property was one of the best we have ever stayed in. It was clean, spacious and private. All the amenities are modern and usable, the bed was really comfortable. The terrace with amenities is amazing, perfect to enjoy during the day or evening. We would definitely consider returning next time. Catia is a great host, she answered any questions we had and gave us all the privacy.

How refreshing to have the owner personally greet you and escort you into their apartment. Pride of ownership was evident and their sharing their painstaking restoration of this historical property made our stay so much more significant and meaningful. The detail, the amenities and furnishings were truly well thought out as if the apartment was their residence. Location was perfect within a short walk to all the sites, restaurants and nightlife that Lecce has to offer. It’s truly a unique opportunity to share and experience a part of history staying here. No detail was overlooked and this made for a most memorable experience.

What a gem of a place! Such a great place to stay within easy walking distance of the train station and minutes from the heart of the old town - a perfect place for an introduction to Lecce. Although it is just a couple of minutes walk on to one of the busier streets in the old town part of Lecce, it was so peaceful and a homely place to retreat to when we needed to rest our tired feet after a day of exploring. The property itself it exactly as described and pictured - everything was so clean, tidy and welcoming including Gianluca himself! So accommodating and welcoming and great at communicating both ahead of time and whilst we were there. When we return to Lecce will definitely be checking to see if this place is free first!

We loved staying at Casa Della Controra! We were six friends from different parts of the world staying in Puglia together for few days. After we did the reservation we realized there was only one bathroom but actually it was not an issue for us as we are all good friends, very flexible, accommodating and considerate. The communication with Elena was superb as she was always responsive to any questions we had. Grazie Elena!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming home in the historic center of town! The place was cute, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Its location was perfect—just a short walk from the heart of town, making it easy to explore local shops, restaurants, and historic sites. The hostess Chiara was incredibly hospitable, ensuring we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. She provided great recommendations and was always available if we needed anything. I highly recommend this lovely home for anyone looking for a warm and convenient stay in the area. Would definitely return!

What a lovely time we had! Emanuele (son of Tomasso) and his family have set up an experience unlike any other. Firstly, the B&B has everything, the room is clean and there is a nice patio for lunch and dinner to make full use of the southern Italian weather. The shared outside area is very big, with a nice swimming pool and lounge area. It also offers a big outside kitchen, perfect for bigger groups. But it remains intimate for couples as well. The stay will remain with us forever because of the kindness of Emanuele and his family though. When you stay, nothing is to much and they create an amazing experience. The B&B has its own winery, bee hives and different fruit trees, so almost all breakfast is homemade and fresh. I could continue endlessly with praises, but i just want to thank the family for everything and recommend this place highly.

We enjoyed our 2-night stay at Andrea's lovely home in Lecce. The flat was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. While our visit in December made it too chilly to fully enjoy the beautiful terrace, this would be an amazing spot to sit outside during warmer months. The location was perfect for our needs, as we enjoy walking. It was just a pleasant 20–30 minute stroll to Lecce's stunning Centro Storico. Additionally, a small grocery store (MD) was conveniently located only a 5-minute walk from the complex. For those traveling by car, the flat was easy to locate, with straightforward streets and ample parking available in the lot. Andrea was a great host – very responsive, attentive, and proactive in ensuring we had all the necessary information for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This flat is an excellent choice for anyone looking to explore Lecce and its surrounding beauty. Highly recommended!

We spent 2 nights in Lecce in the lovely apartment of Luigi and his wife who welcomed us warmly. Luigi picked us up by car from the parking lot (and brought us back) which was very convenient with the children and suitcases, and his wife was waiting for us at the apartment. We had a great basket with lots of treats and everything you need for breakfast, nothing was forgotten. It was very appreciated, thank you again! The apartment is perfectly located, you can't do better to enjoy Lecce which is a beautiful city! There are plenty of good restaurants around.

The apartment is conveniently located, in a Corso Roma crossing in the center, so close to shops, cafes and restaurants and close to the sea. It is spacious and quiet, with a balcony in one of the bedrooms. The apartment has been refurbished and the finishes are neat. The beds are firm; the cabinets are large to store the contents of the suitcases.

It was our next stay with Marco and as great as before, so we came back! Very good communication, we received recommendations for interesting places. The apartment itself in a very good, quiet location, as described, great rooftop terrace. If we're in the area, we'll be back!

We had a very comfortable stay at Luke’s place. The apartment is beautiful, even nicer than the photos. The design - furnishings and all the small details - were stunning! The beds were very comfortable and the linens soft (and I’m choosy!). As two couples, we found it easy to hang out in the large living area. Nice big doors that led to terraces let fresh air in. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials for cooking. Luke was extremely responsive to all our needs and questions. He met us at the apartment, orienting us and giving suggestions for where to eat, walk and shop and even provided welcome snacks including a fruit bowl and pastries. When our neighbors were very loud (through a common courtyard) he immediately contacted the landlord and then even brought us pastries the next day. So kind and thoughtful! Would highly recommend staying with Luke!

Five stars is not high enough for this amazing apartment in a historic palace in the Centro Storico of Lecce. Location, location, location! While on a quiet and private street, this apartment is close to everything! Not only that, but the artwork within and around the apartment is fantastic, and we really connected emotionally to some of the pieces. If that wasn’t enough, Luigia could not have been more helpful. She stocked the kitchen and refrigerator with breakfast items and snacks, provided extremely clear directions on how to find her and waited for us on the street to greet us, gave us recommendations for restaurants and cafe’s that were terrific, and introduced us to her wonderful cats while showing us around the terrace. She is so warm and friendly that we feel like we’ve made a new friend. I don’t think we can come back to Lecce soon enough. Hope to see you again soon Luigia!

We stayed at this great B&B in October 24. Vanessa is a gracious host. She gave us good tips for restaurants and sights and took care of us with a loving breakfast. This b&b is a gem of the kind you would like to keep secrets, just for yourself… The location is exceptional. From the terrace, the view embraces the historic city and the ports. The room is large and comfortable, the hospitality exceptional! Mari is the best hostess there is. A combination of generosity and kindness, her breakfasts are gourmet and delicious. Fresh fruit and local pastries embellish the best homemade cappuccini. A treat. 20/20!

I had a wonderful, comfortable stay in this big corner room in Lecce! It’s a stone’s throw away from the historical center and the room itself was extremely spacious, clean, and comfortable! The view from the corner balcony is to die for, but sadly it was a bit too cold for me to spend much time on it. Simone was also very responsive and very kind to have come back to the apartment to lend me an umbrella when it started raining outside. Check-in and out went very smoothly, I can’t thank her enough! Lovely stay, highly recommend it to people looking for a comfortable spacious room to stay for a few days in Lecce. Oh it’s also very close to the famous pasticceria Cotognata around the corner. :)

Andrea and Roberta were great hosts and were very generous to let us check in several hours early. They had some nice recommendations for us and provided a beautiful breakfast. The room was very cute and it was in great location for walking into the lecce city center. We loved Lecce, it has the feel of Rome, but with a lot less tourists and no one trying to sell you something every five minutes. Would definitely recommend staying at this BnB.

The highest recommendation for Elvira and Davide's place - everything from the help provided at check-in, to the excellent accomodations and the friendly communication throughout. Davide and Elvira provided the perfect stay for my husband and I during our honeymoon. The private terrace was absolutely wonderful and then right out your door were fantastic restaurants. A perfect mix of liviness and tranquility. Davide's restaurant suggestions were fantastic. They truly made Gallipoli our favorite stay in Italy, we can't wait to come back!

Strategic place for visiting both coasts, Ionian and Adriatic. Space outside the magnificent structure and perfect for relaxing in the evening and outdoor dining. Always super helpful and friendly owners. Quick and flexible check-in/out.
