Our stay at Duarte's cottage has been wonderful. We have been two couples with three dogs and we have all really enjoyed it. The house is completely rural, located on the outskirts of Campo Maior, in a very quiet area where you will not hear a single car. Very helpful Duarte at all times. Thank you so much, we will be back!!

The house was very clean and had lots of space. Some of the beds were very firm so we did have to trade rooms with one of our kids for a softer mattress. Overall a great house with plenty to explore in the area. Went to the local cheese shop and got great sight seeing recommendations from the worker. The Marble Museum had cool sculptures and info about the local areas history in extracting marble. The pool is not heated and was a little chilly in late September, but the kids still had fun.

Very nice place, well appointed and very clean. The owner is really very kind and available. The swimming pool is just beautiful. We did a lot of bnb and this one is the best we rented. Thanks to Pierre for his welcome, availability and kindess

We only have two repairs to do: the dining area is very small. The kitchen is limited for a group like ours. The 22 people who made up the group had great difficulty in preparing meals because they could not fit more than 3 people in the kitchen. There were also not enough dishes, cups and cups, if we take into account that the maximum capacity is for 24 people. Consequently, the dining space also did not give to the 22 people at the same time. The other repair is about the power of electricity that is not enough, and when we used more appliances in the kitchen, the table below. But, moreover, everything excellent and communication with those responsible was always very good and fast.

Unique place for those looking to have a good time in tranquility and peace. We were very well received and our stay was really enjoyable! Unique experience with all the animals and wonderful scenery, not forgetting the features of the house that almost take us on a trip through time. The accommodation was all we needed - very quiet, beautiful and private place. It had all the amenities for cooking, it was comfortable and, above all, we easily felt at home. We loved the books. The only thing we would have liked to have had: more lights from the gate to the entrance of the house. As we arrived later, it was a little difficult to find our way around the grounds. We also had some difficulties with the internet speed, which can be a problem if you plan to work remotely. But none of this spoiled the experience. Susanne was a wonderful host, thank you!

A warm, very comfortable house, renovated with excellent taste. The landscape seemed spectacular to us, full of hills to climb and golden brooms in bloom. The house is very well equipped and the service was impeccable. Access is uncomfortable because the shoulder of the dirt road is steep and has two sections of heavy vegetation that forced us to go very slowly to avoid damage to the undercarriage of the car, but we managed to get around them and it was worth it.
