Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Castel di Sangro

Mr. Germano has two apartments in a beautiful rustic surrounded by greenery, which boasts a long history related to transhumance and its centuries-old traditions. Both apartments are spacious (Ginestra has a larger dining room), well equipped, cool in summer and well heated in winter (we tried both apartments in both seasons). Mr. Salvatore, who takes care of the check-in and maintenance of the property, is very kind and helpful. The priceless plus is the location of the rustic: it stands on the southwest shores of the lake, on the slopes of the forest ridge at the top of which stand Mount Petroso and the Mountains of the Meta. It enjoys a private estate (shared with other guests of the property) that, although very well cared for, remains in constant and respectful dialogue with the wild nature of the Park. The center of Barrea is however 5 minutes away from the easily accessible dirt road. We'll definitely be back.

This is a lovely little house over 2 floors in the middle of the Sulmona's historic centre, close to a number of bars, restaurants and shops, but still in a quiet location. Cantini di Biffi, very close by, is a particular favourite restaurant of mine! Sulmona is a beautiful town to stroll around, with a lot of history to discover, and close to the mountains for those who want to enjoy nature. The house itself is ideal for one or two, and the terrace on the top floor is perfect for enjoying an evening drink or a breakfast coffee. Everything in the house was clean and tidy, and the host, who met me at check in, was charming. As I had to do some work while I was there, the reliable Wi-Fi was a great boon. The only negative I can think of, although it didn't really bother me, was that the stairs are quite steep, which could be an issue for those with limited mobility.

Giovanni was super nice to me, and was very kind and nice! The village is adorable, so the flat. I definitely recommend.

Pierluigi is the best host you can ever! Friendly and super helpful, he gave us everything we needed for a comfortable place to stay. He gave us a great wine from his family company, as well as the fresh pasta and jams he kindly gave us! We were incredulous about all that food 🫶🏼 Thank you for everything, we will definitely be back!

The accommodation at the Masseria was splendid, everything was impeccable: the furnishings , the cleanliness, the view, the quiet. Surrounded by greenery and away from the chaos of the city, I recommend it to anyone who needs to unplug for a few days. Alessandra is kind and available for the entire stay. We adored our weekend in Vastogirardi thanks to Natalina’s flexibility, helpful kindness, and comfortable apartment. Staying in the castle was special, affording privacy and beautiful views of Alta Molise. It had everything we needed and we were able to walk anywhere in the village we needed. The people were welcoming and kind and we look forward to returning to both Vastogirardi and Natalina’s lovely home.

A vacation overlooking beauty. A perfect home for large groups thanks to spacious spaces, with attention to detail. From the large windows light comes in from dawn to dusk and the livable kitchen is the beating heart of the house. The panoramic view really leaves you breathless. The rooms upstairs are really cozy, the only downside is the lack of light in the ones on the lower floor. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is an important plus for multiple families or groups of friends. BBQ grill, pool, pool tables and Ping Pong table are the icing on the cake, which have made this house absolutely unforgettable. Obviously highly recommended.

A perfect stay! The structure is simply exquisite, with small but well-organized spaces with attention to detail. The location is excellent, with a beautiful view of Lake Barrea and immersed in the charm of the historic center. Access is convenient: you can easily walk to the car in just 5 minutes. The host was extremely helpful and kind, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for those looking for an authentic and relaxing experience.

The accommodation is spacious, functional, very clean and equipped with a living kitchen complete with every need. Adjacent to the beautiful Abazzia di Santo Spirito, it is on the track of: - CiclOvidia - Camino di San Tommaso - Camino di Celestino V - and the attack of the path that leads to the Hermitage of Sant'Onofrio al Morrone. Recommended for those looking for peace and love open views, perfect for those who want a quiet accommodation and outside the commercial areas and most populated. Not recommended for those who prefer to dwell in the historic centers, between businesses, restaurants, and clubs near the house. Caterina is a courteous host, very helpful and equally discreet. Equipped with tips to experience the territory and ready to enrich the information with the deep knowledge of the Peligna Valley. We did not need to request it at all as we received the information and the rest necessary during our three days of stay with our dog as well. We are very satisfied!

Very secure building and apartment. Easy to find. Parking was on the street, but no trouble finding a close space. The bathroom is very modern and clean. The bedding was quality and the beds were comfortable. We had everything we needed for a good breakfast. We had trouble with the hot water but Arturo sent detailed instructions on how to reset the water heater. Great, quick remedy. The neighborhood seemed a bit run down. But we felt secure, and walked to the grocery and to a restaurant nearby. It’s a nice sunny place with a nice patio. Check out was simple. Thank you Arturo!

Lorenzo offered us an excellent stay! The house, located in a really quiet area on the outskirts of Palena, was impeccable and had all the necessary amenities. The in-person check-in gave us the opportunity to get to know Lorenzo, who was very helpful, kind and gave us valuable advice, as well as a warm welcome accompanied by typical products. The listing accurately lists what the house has to offer. I can only recommend this host and his space to anyone who wants to spend a pleasant moment of relaxation and peace surrounded by the silence of the mountains ⛰️

Alessandro and Sarah are warm and very communicative hosts, whose lodging was comfortable and well-equipped. Corfinio is a small, quiet village nestled within mountains all around with Popoli to the north and Sulmona to the south. The hosts are very knowledgeable regarding cultural resources and activities in the natural environment of the region. Highly recommended!!

Beautifully kept apartment space with lots of room, bright windows and a very nice terrace. Mid century furniture and fixtures made it very interesting to look around in each room. This place is very well cared for and in super neat and clean condition. Roberta was very nice and welcoming the whole time.

Silvio was a great host. He made himself available to check in at a convenient time and welcomed us with great kindness. We appreciated that you were present without being intrusive. The house was clean and had all the useful comforts to make our stay as if we were at home. We recommend choosing Silvio's house!!!

Cozy and clean house. It had everything you need for our stay. The outdoor space and the barbecue were very much appreciated. Emiliano is a very helpful host, he has provided us with all the necessary information to make the most of our stay. This is our second stay in this house and we will definitely stay with him again.

Marco has a very nice, clean and comfortable space. His outdoor back porch was our favorite place! His town is very quiet and peaceful and we had so much fun playing in the Tocco pickleball tournament. Marco is very responsive and really ensures you are pleased with your stay. We would stay here again!

We spent 4 days in a snow-capped nativity scene. Snowy Jupiter Field is a spectacle. The house at the beginning of the village allows beautiful walks. The street, since it was not a large street, it could be snowy, but we did not even have to mount the chains. The house has everything you need, give dishes to the board games. The garden from the woods and we went to collect the wood for the fireplace was wonderful. We will definitely return to Andrea very soon. Thank you for everything

I stayed at this place for around 10 days with my family and we felt at home. The house is great, the host is super friendly and we will book it again when we return to Lanciano. What a great finding!

In the center of the village the large house with a small garden perfect for sunny days, Mrs. Lucia is very kind and very helpful. We will definitely be back. The price is a little high for one night but still gives you the opportunity to park your car inside and flexible check-in, so you can do it. Meeting with close-up deer. Tip.

Mark's place is perfect, super clean and with two brand new bathrooms, very warm and welcoming. We stayed two days, two couples of friends who love the mountains, to spend New Year's Eve 2025 in peace. La Maiella is easy to reach in a short time, as well as many beautiful nearby towns such as Guardiagrele and Lanciano. Beautiful hikes. I recommend Mark's house to everyone, and we will definitely visit him again. Mark is truly a superhost.
