We really enjoyed our stay in Keswick, Carlton 2 is a beautiful, spacious apartment. Adrian’s place is full of high end fixtures and thoughtful touches that make it a real welcoming home from home. As a host, Adrian communicates really well - we definitely hope to return.

we had stayed here once before many years ago and after many years we found this visit just as enjoyable and relaxing as it was on our first visit. It was so welcoming and it was almost like time had stood still as everything was as we remembered it . If you like good food and drink with a gentle stroll around excellent shops and attractions then this is the place to stay.

I had a fantastic extended stay at this Airbnb. The location was perfect—close to all attractions, yet in a safe and quiet neighborhood. My host was incredibly friendly and communicative, making the check-in process a breeze and always available to answer any questions. I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. Simon's place was clean and tidy with a cosy, homey feel! We had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Even in the cold weather, the place was warm enough on mornings and evenings. The location is fantastic, only 5 min walk to the main street and so close many attractions. We couldn't get a parking space on the street, but as Simon mentioned the surrounding streets are also available. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a cosy getaway in the lakes.

Great place to stay and easy to communicate

What a beautiful place to stay! Everything about this house was fantastic. The location was perfect right in the heart of Bowness with easy access to the lake, shops, bars and restaurants. Parking available for several cars (We had 4 but you could easily fit more). The house itself is just amazing with everything catered for all of our party which ranged from 21 to 80 year olds. The kitchen and dining areas are great and well stocked with absolutely everything you need. Plenty of space in the main living room for our party of 9 to all gather together. Bedrooms were all ensuite, well decorated and very comfortable. The games room with Pool table and hot tub was a great place to relax and have some fun, and the cinema room was fantastic. Great views from the balcony, up and down the Windermere valley. Communication with host David, was 1st class with immediate responses to any questions and a very flexible approach to requests. Would highly recommend and we will hopefully return.

we had a great time here. Azy's place had everything we needed and even more. The kitchen wes very well equipped and all the rooms had a tv with dvd player, although we were too tired in the evening to watch anything. The kids have played on the lawn outside and I could even see them from the kitchen window. It was great to have the hot tub ready for us on arrival and the rooms were warm with comfy beds. Would definitely recommend for a family 👍🏻

Lizzie is a fabulous host, so responsive and made great suggestions for places to eat, drink and visit. Lizzie's place is easily walkable down through a little wood to the Lake shore. The house is between Bowness and Windermere, both easily walkable, lots to see and do in both towns, so brilliant for parking the car at the house and leaving it there for the whole stay! Lots to do from the doorstep. Lizzie's place is well appointed, super comfy big beds, cosy and warm, super clean, lovely big kitchen and dining area, relaxing cosy lounge. Nice little welcome.package. the perfect place to kick back and relax, we loved the modern interior that compliments the traditional Lakeland home. We cant wait to go back. Thank you Lizzie!

We had a wonderful stay here. The location was perfect right in the centre of Ingleton but on a quiet, private road with it's own parking space. The house was spotless and uncluttered, very comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. It was freezing outside when we were there but the house was always warm and cosy. Check-in was easy and it was nice to have the option of checking out up to 12 O'clock. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

A lovely stay in Windermere. The house was in a perfect location to explore the Lakes. Margaret and Alexander were great hosts who were very helpful on arrival! My top tip would be to take photos of check in information as access to the website can be tricky until you can connect to the broadband in the house. The house was spacious and perfect for my family. Cosy to return to after being out all day. I look forward to returning to further explore such a beautiful area.

We stayed at Simon’s house for my husband’s 50th birthday, 4 adults, 4 teens and we all had a fantastic time. The house is beautiful, and immaculate throughout. We enjoyed some lovely walks nearby, despite the weather and found Bowness to be a great base for a weekend away. The hot tub was a great place to relax at the end of the day. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this house.

I had a fantastic stay at Nicole’s Penthouse! The flat was incredibly cozy, well-equipped, and the perfect place to unwind after a long day of hiking. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a home away from home. Nicole’s communication was excellent, with clear instructions and helpful touches that made the stay seamless. I’ll definitely be returning for my next hike and wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Highly recommend!

Upper Mint Mill is a beautiful place to stay, we had such a lovely time there. The space is really well decorated and maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing family stay. It’s within walking distance of Kendal town centre (along footpaths), and worked really well as a base to explore other parts of the Lake District. Sophie and Mark were both friendly and super helpful.

Excellent and cosy stay in a comfortable basement flat. Very quiet setting with lovely views from the door and a beautiful quiet garden to utilise. Walking distance to Grasmere and onto the hills. Everything of good quality in the flat and easy to access and park. Highly recommended

An absolutely beautiful apartment place within a 30-40 minute drive of so many cool places to visit. We had another reservation cancel at the last minute well after normal booking hours. Amy responded within minutes! Highly, highly recommended!

Fiona’s place is absolutely well priced. She was an extremely flexible host, allowing us to check in a day early since our travel plans changed. She met us upon arrival and gave us a wonderful tour of the place. She gave us recommendations of some things to do in the area, and overall made us feel very at home. She even gave us recommendations of places to visit in the next country we were traveling to. I’m not sure we’ve ever had a more personable, caring host. We’d be ecstatic to stay here again next time we’re in the Lake District
