Family-friendly vacation rentals in Cartagena

Analucia offers a truly wonderful place to explore the enchanting city of Cartagena. Her place was about 20 minutes by taxi from the airport. Checking in was a breeze, as their was a person that worked in the lobby/at the door the entire time. The apartment is on the second floor and is a bright, open space filled with interesting pieces of art and books. There is a full kitchen and spacious bathroom. There is a small patio that was nice to sit on and read in the morning. The living room is very comfortable, especially the couches, which are great for napping during peak afternoon heat. There were plenty of towels and the bedding was comfortable. This is a terrific location, truly the best of Cartagena is within blocks. We stayed for three nights and never had to use transportation, all of the restaurants, galleries, shops, and public life are less than 20 minutes from the door. Analucia was a great, responsive host that offered lots of helpful suggestions. Highest recommendation!

Spectacular place, safe and close to a lot of things. I recommend it 100% when we return to Cartagena we stayed again in this place, it felt like we were at home. We will be back a thousand times more

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Encanto. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and we all worked out the language barrier. We felt comfortable and safe, especially having Oscar there as our doorman. The host was responsive to our messages in a timely matter. The Colombian food that was prepared for us was excellent! The whole house gave us a Colombian experience we will all remember. Thank you!

The location is amazing-- Getsemani is a thriving and vibrant city, full of life and things to do. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is probably not for you-- but if you are looking for a great space with amazing staff (Isa and John are THE BEST!) in the middle of everything, this is your place! Also, the rooftop was spectacular!

Great place with an awesome water feature, cool water plunge and jacuzzi, and centrally located in the old town. Walked everywhere, great bars and restaurants nearby and a perfect stay.

amazing place, clean next to beach

We had a spectacular week at Ivan's beautiful 4 bedroom/4 bath condominium in Cartagena. We have stayed at many wonderful Air BNBs across the world and we all agreed, this was one of the very best! Large inviting kitchen led to delicious, long meals together. We all greatly enjoyed the elegant rooftop hot tub and private 'grotto' with small pool on the ground floor. Katia was incredible - providing perfect daily housekeeping and always available to provide needed advice. Her checking in daily made us feel like we were at the Ritz, rather than at an Air BNB! The large pool shared with other residents was beautiful and we swam daily. Excellent security, lovely neighborhood, great location within the historic part of the city - truly a perfect home for a magical vacation.

We had a great stay in the apartment. You are comfortable and have all the amenities. Communication with Mercedes also went very smoothly. She also helped us with any questions we had and had great tips for spending the days. You are within walking distance of several places in the city. Highly recommended!

Roberto’s place was the best of deals, very affordable, well located, clean, the staff was very friendly and Roberto was always available. I would not hesitate to reccomend his place to anyone.

Julio was a wonderful host and his instructions were great. I think we tried most of the restaurants he recommended. The apartment was in the middle if everything in the old town!

We had an amazing time at Glady's place, incredible location at walkable distance of the most popular restaurants and bars but far enough so that you don't hear the noise at night, we also felt secure at this place. Would 100% recommend

Had a great stay at Andrew's, apartment was easy to get to from the airport by taxi. Check in was smooth, apartment looks just like the photos, excellent wifi, A.C., hot water and, water pressure were all great. Right in the middle of all the action but the apartment is high enough not to be bothered by the foot traffic. T.V. could use an upgrade but other than that it would definitely be my spot to stay when in town and would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Place looks as shown in the pictures. A bit of noise given that faces the main highway, but at the end not an issue for us. A great location in Cartagena and building was very well maintained with good facilities like the gym.

We loved staying at Nancy’s place. We were steps away from the beach and plenty of local restaurants. The place was clean, beautifully decorated, and peaceful. We’d definitely stay here again!!

Very central, Perfect for walking in the historic center

We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful even much more beautiful than the photos. Luis and the other staff made us breakfast and lunch each day and were incredibly attentive, also the food was some of the best I’ve had in Colombia.

Dirk was a great host and communicated with me a timely manner with any questions I had. What I personally found convenient was that there’s a deli (restaurant/store) right below the apartment so any needs. Made it easy for me to get bites to eat, water, beer, and even great local Colombian food. You can cross the street and the beach is right there. It’s amazing for a couple. And the price it’s very competitive to other places further away. I would definably come back here for the easy convenience the apartment has.

This was our second time at Jaime's and once again, met and excedeed expectations. The apartment is spectacular. Thanks Jaime for your hospitality, me and my friends had a great time once again.
