Vacation rentals in Careywood

Adorable sweet little cabin in the woods! Even better than the photos! Hot tub was nice and hot, everything was super clean, the bed was comfortable, wifi worked great for my needs, and the knives were sharp! (If ya know, ya know!). Teresa was very accommodating to our schedule and very quick to respond to my messages. I would 100 percent recommend this cabin for a single or couple for a cozy little retreat in a peaceful setting!

Michelle is so great to work with regarding any questions or assistance needed. We had a special circumstance we needed assistance with and she was quick to respond and provided guidance on how to resolve our matter. She is a gracious host!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Angela’s house. My friend group meets annually the week after Christmas, but we usually stay in rustic Forest Service cabins. This year was a definite upgrade, but we agreed to no tv and limited phone use to mimic one of the reasons why we choose Forest Service cabins. We enjoyed the game room and hot tub, and the kitchen in the house is amazing and well-stocked with cooking tools. We had plenty of space to gather to play games around the kitchen table and could have privacy when we needed quiet time. We all left feeling refreshed.

I can’t say enough about this place. It is literally heaven on earth. Not only is the host extremely nice and easy to get in touch with, her space is AMAZING. Everything was clean, organized, she had everything you could need. One night we planned on going downtown Sandpoint and we opted to stay at the cabin to enjoy it because it was so cozy and enjoyable. We will be back! This place is an absolute must!!!!!

We loved the cabin! Space was clean and thoughtful. Location was stunning. Close to many diff hiking spots. And the hot tub was the cherry on top

The house was wonderful. We had 5 adults and a toddler in the house. You could not hear anything happening downstairs while up in the rooms. The layout was perfect. The boot dryer was a fantastic addition that was well used after days on the mountain. Having the park right across the street really helped keep the toddler occupied during the day and the magnetic tiles were such a big hit we bought a set for our own house. The only thing I found a need for during our stay would have been bigger pots in the kitchen and coasters for the table. We stayed for just over a week and cooked a lot but had to take a bit more time than normal to boil pasta in batches, etc. We used pot holders to put our coffee cups on the table but coasters would be helpful. We would absolutely stay there again.

Eric was a great host and his cabin was better than we expected. Everything was perfect, starting with the gorgeous views, all the amenities you could possibly need and the new boat dock which was important to us because we traveled there by boat and was large enough to hang out there with our group during the day and into the night under the stars. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and it just felt like being in a cozy, welcoming home. Thank you, Eric, for making our stay so special!

Amazing house and amazing hosts, we absolutely loved this property. The house is beautifully designed, everything feels brand new, and all items are super practical. The owners are fantastic - super welcoming, very easy to get hold of and made everything possible to help us have great time in the area. We really hope so be back.
