Our 4 day stay was beautiful! If you want to experience a remote village in a beautifully preserved home with a rustic atmosphere, this is the place for you. Alexandra and her parents are the nicest people that will tell you about everything there is to see around, they will bring you to buy local produce and will also make great conversation partners if you want to exchange life experiences. Would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet retreat or wanting to discover the nature of the region and the life of a small remote town.

Great everything, you get exactly what you see in the pictures, very nice hosts and help you quickly in case you need it. I recommend this place nice!

A traditional house set in idilic village. The host was extremely welcoming and nice. The stay is as described, clean, spacious with relaxing outdoor spaces. Each room has a traditional fire place which you need to start to heat the room (we visited end of October), very charming. Thanks again to our hosts for taking care of us!

Davids house is perfect for a peaceful, cozy and private stay for a big group. There is a bathroom in every single bedroom which is a big plus. I would recommend the place if you’re looking for a getaway outside the city.

Heaven away from Home, in Garana We have travelled in 3, including a 7yo boy, and we have found the best place to connect with nature. Amazing cabin, brand new, with all the amenities needed for our family. Peaceful place located close to the road, although we could not see it, with great host, always preoccupied to see us enjoying the place and surroundings. Besides the cabin, the bonfire is a must do, you will deeply enjoy it under the sky full of stars. Cabin equipped with all the things needed for a long stay in the middle of nature. Great experience, we will definitely come back!

The house is even more beautiful in person. The area is wonderful as well, we took the train to Anina (it snowed before and everything looked fairytale like). Would definitely recommend this place!

We had a really great time at Raul‘s house and highly recommend his place for any trip or event with a larger group of friends and/or family! The place works very well for large groups, reasons being, a) several bedrooms with separate bathrooms, b) fully equipped professional kitchen (including a pizza oven), c) beautiful and huge terrace, d) large dining room, e) multiple big balconies/pergolas, and f) bbq available! Please note that the owner’s two (very nice and friendly) dogs are living on the property (only outside of the house).
