Vacation rentals with lake access in Cape Breton Regional Municipality

I stayed here with my parents, brothers and partners. We were a full house but there was more than enough space! The hosts really go above and beyond with making sure you have everything you need and the home has so many super cute and thoughtful details. The views of the water out front are so gorgeous. Everything was close by as well - Sidney was just over a ten minute drive away and the start of Cabot trail around 30 mins. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at Ann’s place. It was beautiful, clean, comfortable and very cozy. We loved every minute of our stay. Thank you for the Christmas decorations it was very thoughtful. Ann’s communication was also excellent. We will definitely book again if we are in the area.

We had a fabulous stay at Tammy's home and were very reluctant to leave. It was extremely comfortable and very stylish. We enjoyed sitting on the deck into late evening watching the sun set over the lake. Definitely a place to return if we ever revisit Cape Breton and can highly recommend.

This was the 2nd year we picked Carol Anns place as the base for a 2 week work trip for our party of 3. Each bedroom was nicely furnished and the kitchen has quality appliances and all the kitchen gadgets and equipment you would likely use in a one to two week stay. There is a washer and dryer with supplies. New from our stay last year is full screening for the front porch which was done at a professional level so a very nice spot to sit and look out at the bay.

We had a lovely few days at sunset chalet. Else and her family could not have been nicer or more helpful. We stayed in February and it was pretty snowy… however all the track was ploughed and kept clear… the views are spectacular… complete with a sea eagle we saw every morning. We borrowed snow shoes and had a super time on the old railway track. On Elsie recommendation we went snowmobiling at TNT adventures….Great!!

Lovely condo. Had everything. Conveniently located. Beautiful view. Several outdoor seating areas which we loved. We would highly recommend this to anyone!

Picturesque, peaceful, and private. Fairly secluded. A lovely spot for a restful weekend away. The host is very responsive, helpful, and extremely easy to get along with. Would stay at Susy & Che’s again.

This is a very welcoming cottage in an absolutely beautiful location right on Bras d'or Lake. Went swimming off the yard, fall colors on the trees, well equipped but not overbusy kitchen, comfortable bed, peaceful interiors... We were here four nights for the Celtic Colors festival and had a wonderful time. By the way, Baddeck is very central, making this a great location to take in concerts from Cheticamp to Sydney, and close to the Gaelic College for the late-night pub concerts. Hope to be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. Very nice place with everything we looking for as a cottage. Price was fair, location at the Ocean shore was perfect. Quiet place. Communication was easy with host. Nothing to complain about. If we come back in the area, we will not hesitate to use this place again. I highly recommend it.

From the time we entered the cottage I was impressed So very clean and organized Bedrooms so welcoming and comfy The view was amazing and we so enjoyed being there They went above and beyond and even got us a cooking pot for Lobster and mussels so we could cook outside

Lauretta’s place is a lovely cottage. We needed a place to stay that was quiet but central and this did the job. Very close to Sydney if you need it but also close to Baddeck and beautiful scenic routes. The cottage is cozy and well stocked. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We came from Oregon USA for my daughter’s wedding at the Lakes in Ben Eoin. Growing up in Sydney and with a family cottage in Big Pond Jane’s cottage felt like home. It was peaceful, serene, comfortable, and most of all welcoming, just like the people of this beautiful Island. Thank you Jane for providing the perfect venue for my family to make memories that will last a lifetime. You have been an incredible host and went above and beyond to make this the very best family reunion. The beach was perfect for my precious grandsons. The rocky beach was ideal for fishing, even though they didn’t catch anything, the thrill was reward enough. We look forward to making more memories at this venue next year. You are an angel Jane ❤️ and I will be forever grateful for making this happen so seamlessly.

Very lovely place. Light and airy. We enjoyed having the lower level for our bikes. Comfy bed. Walkable to waterfront and restaurants. We’d stay here again!
