I enjoyed my stay here. There's plenty of things stocked for the guests. Having a washing machine was nice too. It has comfortable armchairs in the living space. My only complaint is the shower has poor pressure and doesn't get very hot. It has an unusual mechanism with no pressure control, just temperature.

Rachel's place was very quiet and peaceful. Our kids loved the ruralness and seeing the chickens. The fresh eggs and homemade bread were a special touch. Unfortunately due to other circumstances we were only able to spend one night at Rachel's place instead of our scheduled 2 nights. Definitely recommended.

Beautiful little place to stay, we were sad to leave! Great amount of space for us, comfy and clean. Everything was provided that we needed for breakfast and more including delicious treats! Pool was also fabulous for a swim. Sue and Greg are fabulous hosts, super friendly. Will definitely recommend!

This was a perfect base for visiting our family in Christchurch. Grandchildren are great but it was good to escape to such a pleasant location and there was free use of the pool!

Great place in a great location and Cecile was so lovely and helpful! I can highly recommend; however, if you are travelling with elderly be aware the driveway is very steep and the stairs don't have handrails.

Beautiful cottage unit located on a working farm that was peaceful and serene. Had a wonderful stay and would recommend this place to others. Met the host and she was absolutely wonderful. We would definitely stay here again!

Vanessa is very friendly and enthusiastic. When we arrived at the accommodation, she introduced the place in detail and provided a guide to the surrounding areas on the coffee table in the living room. We can enjoy a very unique farm breakfast every morning, and the fruit is very fresh. It is very quiet and beautiful here. It is very close to the alpaca ranch and not far from Akaroa town. The room is clean, tidy and beautiful, very warm. Overall, it is a good place to stay.

A very cosy abode for two nights, the table top was good for us to have our meals. There is a tree right outside that turned a pretty shade of red since its autumn too! A bonus that we did not need to do the dishes as there is a dishwasher.

Mt Somers was a quick little stopover so we could visit Mount Sunday. Hilary was a fantastic host and recommended a nice local restaurant for dinner. She even remembered the reason I was staying (to visit Edoras from LotR) and left a nice note. The home was super clean and tidy and felt very cozy. Would definitely recommend if looking to stay in Mt Somers!

I had 4 nights at this wonderful accommodation. Everything was clean and it was a spacious unit. Lovely and private with outdoor seating to enjoy the sun. I loved the back section with great parking right outside the front door. I would stay again when I'm next in Rolleston. Thank you for being a great host Gregory.

It was a delight to arrive here. Lovely and spacious, private with a view of the lake. The hosts were really quick to respond and helpful when we had trouble getting the tv to work ( it was a wifi issue) - really nice genuine people. We would happily have stayed longer.

Staying at Anthea & Wayne's B&B was a delight! The clean, tidy bedroom offered stunning sunset sea views from the hill. The well-equipped kitchen was perfect for our needs for simple breakfast, and the outdoor BBQ added a lovely touch. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway! Five stars all the way!

What an absolutely lovely little gem this has been! We really loved everything about our stay and appreciate the hospitality we experienced despite requesting to book on quite short notice. Would have loved to stay longer if we could, as there are so many books we could choose from in the little book exchange and relax in the wonderful surroundings with plenty of tracks nearby. Absolutely delicious brownies too. Would come back anytime.

Exactly what we needed for a couples escape from Christchurch. Our second time visiting this gem. Private and comfortable, with an incredibly big bed. I don't think I've ever seen a cleaner place on AirBnB. And the homemade bread and jam was the cherry on top. Thanks so much Tracy for another wonderful stay - we did not want to leave.

Our stay at view with a room was stellar! Shirley is an extremely thoughtful host. She has everything you could possibly think to need with some very thoughtful touches such as freshly laid eggs that were left for us. The accommodation was impeccably clean and so well thought out. Modern bathroom, nice lighting. Beautiful views in a peaceful and serene setting. We walked at low tide to see the starfish, what a fun adventure! Shirley has a tide chart printed so you can time it just right. We loved our time at view with a room and highly highly recommend staying here. Thank you again Shirley!

Great value for our three week stay around Christmas. Our grandchildren liked the pool and the room with two twin beds for sleepovers. We cooked many meals and baked bread and pies in the oven and ate together at the table with our extended family. We enjoyed fresh flowers and apricots from the garden during our entire stay. I liked watching our host work in his shop on his hydropower systems and other projects in the gravel driveway. we really liked the company of the hosts and their family. We have been to three Christchurch places this year for long stays and would gladly return to this place for another summer stay. I liked entering the city from this side of town because there is little traffic heading Northeast into Addington and Riccarton business areas and then East to the Botanic Gardens and downtown. We shopped at the Barrington Mall and ate out at many places along Centaurus and Colombo streets which are not far. There is also a Dairy and Seafood takeout very closeby.

The place is exactly like the pictures. super cozy. it has a beautiful view. Close to everything. I had a great night. It was a pity that the swimming competition was canceled and the place is no longer being used. Thank you.

This is a lovely place in the centre of Christchurch. Beautifully appointed, great kitchen, pleasant responsive host. You can walk or bus everywhere from here, no need for a car.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great hosts providing all amenities and a relaxing floor plan that is spacious, clean and convenient to many interesting places to explore.

We just stayed at Sonja’s AirBnB for a month and were sad to leave as it really felt like home and Sonja is a large part of that along with her comfortable, welcoming, clean and spacious accommodation. The garden is a lovely extension of that space too and is even better than the photos!. We enjoyed interacting and having fun with Bobby, Sonja’s dog but you don’t have to when staying there. We would happily return to stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sonja, as to us she’s a Superhost and now also a friend. Thank you Sonja.

I needed a quiet place to work while I waited to pick up a car in Christchurch - Alisa's place was perfect. A table to work at, a stones throw to a good cafe and an easy bus ride to the city. The apartment was quiet, well appointed and warm. Would recommend!

We had a super stay at Vicky and Rob's place. It was fabulous. Everything was super and our hosts were incredibly attentive and lovely. Such a pleasure to have stayed here with our Stanley dog.. Thanks for having us.
