Vacation rentals in Campillo de Azaba

Jesse was a wonderful host and was very helpful. The views are stunning and the beds are very comfortable. Not to be missed are the delicious meals Jesse’s neighbor can cook for you at a very reasonable price. They were the culinary highlight of my trip to Spain and Portugal. We also had an amazing day, renting e-bikes and climbing up mountains seeing spectacular views. Overall, we had a wonderful time.

Enjoyed a peaceful stay in Esphinhosa. The house is very inviting with plenty of room. Views are amazing with the vineyards across the lane. Virtually no traffic since it is the 2nd last place on the road. A leisurely 5-minute stroll to the little hamlet of Esphinhosa. There's a very small coffee bar & grocery store in town. It has the very basics to get you through. If you plan to make your own meals in the well-equipped kitchen, remember to purchase your groceries on the way. For large luggage, you will want to access the 2nd floor from the back door up the hill rather than using the spiral stairs. Also, Google Maps took us straight through Espinhosa. To squeeze through the houses where R.Direita meets R.dos Valados, we had to fold up the mirrors on our Dacia Duster with likely only 1/2" to spare on either side. Make sure to use Rua Cimo do Povo and follow the signs for Valado Houses. Good local food at Restaurante Pesqueirense in São João da Pesqueir.

Phillipa and Paul were absolutely lovely to work with and their property is unbelievable! We felt like we owned a Quinta for a few nights! we got to explore the property, visit with Paul and one of their sons, and savor the beauty of the Douro. They were proactive with communication and sourced a number of wonderful adventures, activities and meals. Without their guidance our trip would have been less fun!

This was the most magical place for our family of five. I now want to come back and try all of Miguel’s other properties. A true highlight was taking advantage of the connections to local vendors that come with the hosts recommendations. Private dinner at the Pinta Lounge was amazing . I said to my husband at one point , “ I am so happy I could cry” - that sums up this cottage.

Very comfortable house, with appropriate cooking utensils and well located right in the center of the village. Very nice village and surroundings. We like the easy way to check in and out, as well as the kindness of the cookies at our reception. Thank you!

Lovely chalet in such a beautiful area of Portugal. Pedro was a great host, quick to respond to messages and with helpful recommendations of where to eat and visit. We ate at 2 of the local restaurants, Casa do Clube & Varanda da Estrela, both walking distance and both highly recommended. Ski resort and Torre are 15 mins drive. Easy check in at the chalet and all necessary cooking equipment and living equipment provided. Highly recommended stay!

Immediately greeted by Rogerio and his beautiful energy. Such an effortlessly "down to earth" soul and comes across super altruistic. The house was meticulous and we was even gifted some eggs for the next day. If anyone is looking for some peace, re centering and grounding; I highly urge you to stay at this beautiful oasis!

Excellent hosting. The apartment is very comfortable with all the necessary equipment. Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the historic center, markets and good restaurants (highlight the Bella Ciao pizzeria). Easy to park in front of the apartment or very close by, on the main street. The reception was excellent, Cati was very welcoming and friendly, she showed us the whole place and gave us tips about the city, in addition to leaving bread, butter, milk, juice and several other products available for our stay. Thank you!!! It will certainly be our choice if we return to Ciudad Rodrigo.
