We had an amazing Christmas stay at Chateau Mirabel at Mount Washington! The home was impeccably stocked, and everything worked perfectly—clearly one of the nicest homes on the mountain. The location offers super easy access to the slopes, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. The host was incredibly attentive and quick to respond, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. This is a top-tier property that we highly recommend, and we can’t wait to stay here again. 10/10 all around

We had a great time at Paul's place, private and peaceful. Watched the stars from the hot tub and sunset from divers rock (quick walk). The snorkeling around divers rock is fantastic at low tide, provided the ocean chill doesn't take you out too fast! The yurt was a really neat experience, well insulated and quiet. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay at the Artists Retreat was lovely. The place was clean and in a great location. We all slept well in comfy beds. The kitchen was well equipped. And the outdoor area was amazing with a spectacular view off the huge deck complete with crickets chirping and deer grazing. Sooo peaceful

Susan's place on Cortes was so beautiful and fully stocked. it felt like the perfect cabin getaway!

What a wonderful rustic getaway! Beautiful location, perfect for exploring all the Hornby highlights. Loved walking around the farm and right onto the Mt Geoffrey Park trails. Barnplex felt very well built and cared for. We loved our timing with the patio under the grapevines surrounded by apple trees. Definitely recommend for those seeking a unique and affordable stay.

Leah is the quintessential hostess who exudes the quality of having been home while away from home. Her generous, thoughtful and attentive nature is reflected in everything from the booking process, the attention to accommodation and her care for guests throughout. Hearts content, is just that.. a contented heart. The space is cozy but spacious, comforting, eccentric and equipped with everything one would need to feel right at home. We will return again and again!

Mike was a fantastic host, always responsive and helpful. The entire process, from booking to departure was smooth. The place is actually three places in one, so it was awesome for us to spend time with our family friends and kids without feeling on top of each other. It's a very charming main wood home with two incredible smaller cabins, outdoor showers, and two decks...all of it felt like home. The location is perfect as it's an easy walk/bike/taxi from the ferry, and easy access to the general store, bike rentals, and south beach! Go to Savary, stay at Mike's!

My wife and I had an amazing time spending our honeymoon here. The float house was super comfy. You can sit on the deck and watch the tide come in slowly. The people on the island are super kind. Be sure to check out the farmers market on Fridays to meet the locals. As well as all the road stands set up.

We really enjoyed our stay at Manda and Families cabin. We stayed at Zadas cabin. It was rustic which matched our expectation and fit the vibe of Cortes. Even though the host was off island during our stay his level of communication was above our expectation . He checked in several times and made it clear he was available if needed. He gave clear instructions through text. When I did talk to him on the phone he answered immediately was friendly kind and accommodating. I love having the beach nearby. I also liked the sound of the rooster and visits from the families pets. I also liked the little touches like the nice blue bowls to eat out of.

If you’re looking for a quiet, cozy retreat, this cabin on Cortez Island is perfect. Tucked away in the trees with a beautiful view of the water, it’s the ideal hideaway for a weekend escape. The space is well-appointed, comfortable, and has everything you need to settle in and unwind. Waking up to the sound of the leaves rustling and sipping coffee on the deck was a highlight. It truly feels like a hidden gem, offering the right balance of seclusion, natural beauty, and convenience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to recharge in a peaceful setting!

Coastline Cabin is in an amazing location right on the beach. It has a mesmerising view and we were able to watch otters, orcas and seals plus many seabirds from the deck. Our daughter and son-in-law stayed here 2 years ago and told us we’d love it - and they were right! The cabin is really well equipped and we were able to cook our own meals easily. The bed and sofas were comfortable and there was a breakfast bar to eat at if you didn’t want to sit outside! Janet was really helpful and friendly, advising us about local walks etc. we also really enjoyed meeting Sherman the very friendly Alsatian - who reminded us of our dogs in the UK! We did a Homalco Tours Bear and Whale watching trip from Campbell River (approx 35 mins drive from the cabin) one day - which was really interesting and enabled us to see a grizzly bear and humpback whales. Would highly recommend Coastline Cabin!

What a beautiful spot. Couldn’t ask for somewhere more peaceful, comfortable or private to enjoy some quality time in nature with family. Deborahs place is stunning and has everything you need to relax. Top tip : Bring eye patches to sleep if you are sensitive to light as it’s brilliantly bright from sunrise to sunset in both bedrooms ~ which of course maximizes on the incredible views and adds to the stylish look of the place. We will be back!

We had a great couple of nights at Kate's place. The views are stunning, and it was lovely to watch the sun go down each evening while eating our dinner. It was nice to have your own designated parking spot and the place is less than 5mins drive from the Quadra Island Ferry Terminal, you can also walk there in 15mins (although there is a hill so those who may not be comfortable with that should be aware). My only suggestion for those visiting is to bring an eye mask and ear plugs if you are a light sleeper like my wife (no blackout curtains and the rooster wakes you up early).

Thank you to Simone for the clean and cozy space! The location was quiet and peaceful, and we enjoyed being walking distance to Nancy’s bakery and the pub. Simone was very responsive when we asked if she had a cast iron pan we could borrow. Thank you 🙏🏻 We would definitely stay again!

one of the nicest, most peaceful, and well laid out Airbnb that I have stayed at. clean, beautiful and the view was wonderful. a little sad it had snowed and we couldn't walk around the property and down to the beach, but that is traveling in winter. good amount of thoughtful touches and amenities. it was a wonderful stay and I would book it again.

This is the 3rd year in a row that we have stayed here. It feels like home. The cottage is in the most beautiful location imaginable. Having our meals on the deck overlooking the ocean continued to amaze us day after day. It is be hard to find this combination of beauty, privacy, peace and value in any rental space. This is a rare find!

This place is so relaxing right at the ocean and it's so great to watch the wildlife an listen to the ocean!!!

Patti & Corrine’s place was exactly what we were looking for. You have a wonderful view of the ocean through the trees. Though there are other houses around you, it felt very private. There cottage is surrounded by trees & open grass to walk around. Waking up & ending the day to the sounds of birds was beautiful. We even saw a fawn on the property. They do have two cats which we only saw once & they were very friendly. The beach is a 2 min walk down a quiet street. The cottage itself is my dream home. It’s simple but homey. We loved the personal decor & book selections about the area & wildlife. We slept with the windows open to let in the cool ocean air. In the mornings I stood in the living room watching the sunrise through the giant window. I could have moved into their cottage if it was allowed. It was perfect. Patti was also wonderful at giving suggestions of things to do & explaining the ins & outs of the cottage. I highly recommend staying here! You won’t regret it!
