Cabin vacation rentals in Camp Nelson

My family and I LOVED this airbnb so much we decided to stay another night. Only thing I will complain about -not to be that person- was the broken couch. Only because I wished something was said so that we wouldn't sit on it and cause more possible damage. Its really not big of a deal though, It didn't affect our experience here whatsoever! Everything else was perfect. I will be booking again!

This place is beautiful. There is a lot to do both inside and out of the cabin. The cabin has amazing views while maintaining your privacy. I saw deer outside the cabin every day of our stay. There is something to do for everyone in the cabin. The game room was really entertaining. The rooms are big and allowed everyone to be comfortable. The attention to detail in the decor, and customer satisfaction is really good. Chris was an excellent host who is friendly and helpful. Chris provided assurance about driving conditions and any other concerns I had. He offered recommendations on what to do during my stay. He made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. He responded fast and was very communicative. I would highly recommend booking a stay here, as I am sure to be staying again.

Very nice, lots of space in personal character. You feel like you are at a home, not a place calibrated for renting, which we like. Great jacuzzi. And super quiet, calm and relaxing and yet very close to the Saloon and Sportsman (my Fav).

Wanted to get away for the weekend and picked this place looking over Lake Isabella. The drive up to the stay does take a little while (11 mins or so) but it really is worth it. I recommend doing your shopping beforehand unless you want to explore out. There’s a place to walk around right outside too and the view is stunning. Definitely worth checking out and seeing all the unique artwork too. Makes you feel like you are outside of CA :)

Staying in the cabin was great, the architecture and decoration blend well with the stunning views that surround the place. The places matched pictures and description, there is a giant sequoia right next to the cabin!. Hosts are very helpful, have very clear instructions and responsive. Hope visiting again soon

What a lovely place! It is exactly as described if not better! We had a very peaceful, quiet getaway. The nearby creek and surrounding area is beautiful. Hot tub, pellet heater and additional heaters kept us warm and cozy. Lots of nice hikes, off roading and places to explore. Robyn was extremely helpful and we really appreciated her proactivity around providing an early check in. We will definitely be returning.

What a beautiful location! We were glad the road was dry because it is dirt, and up a twisty hill. We had a small jeep and could have easily added another sedan in the driveway. Everything was beautifully appointed-we loved the kitchen and new washer/dryer. The outdoor table, grill, fire table and hot tub were so appreciated! Star gazing was amazing! The option to cook at home was our preferred evening meal location. The 3 split cooling/heating units were very nice to have! The technology in the place was amazing! Google & bluetooth to the sound bar. We bought some items in Bakersfield before driving out to Wofford Hts., but the local Von's had great options to grill and all the grocery items you might need. We preferred to dine in Kernsville, but there were options in Lake Isabella. Kernsville brewery had great food and beer options! Don't miss Remington hot springs if you bring your hiking poles and wear solid water shoes or hiking boots. A bit of a hike down to the springs. Heaven!

Gabby, was a gem. Such a pleasure staying at Cabin Grim. Hot tub was clean and plenty of wood to make it hot. Cabin was cozy and had us relaxed right when we walked in. Communication felt so smooth and she was able to accommodate our animals which made life so easy. Truly an experience me and the family would do again. P.S. Ask about the private chef. Chef and wife were so nice and accommodating. Food was amazing.

Our stay at the rental house in Wofford Heights was absolutely wonderful! The house was spotless, cozy, and well-maintained, making us feel right at home. Its location was perfect—just a 10-minute drive to Alta Sierra Ski Resort, making it incredibly convenient for hitting the slopes. The surrounding forest was serene and beautiful, offering a peaceful retreat. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend this place!

Perfect place to get out in the wilderness and stargaze at night. It is far away enough to feel like a vacation, but close enough to visit the mountains and lake. John (the host) was very nice and helpful. The house was very cute and clean and pre-heated by our host :) The beds were comfy and the linens were clean. We had a wonderful time exploring the property and Al (our dog) had a blast running and rolling around in the yard. Great getaway!

Nicola was a great host! The architecture and ambiance of the cabin was wonderful! Perfect for a weekend getaway retreat into the mountains. Would highly recommend and would absolutely visit again!

Loved the place. I love big windows and seeing the woods, was perfect. The neighborhood was so quiet, even on New years eve! Its a nice spot if you want to relax do a little bit of walking. We were blessed to have enough snow to play with, some surrounding areas were none. We had the whole area to our selves to play with snow. The kitchen was fully stock with the exception of a cupcake pan, but I took my own just in case. The 2 coffee makers is a plus, take coffee beans or kcups, love the options. The cabin maintained us warm throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place. Very spacious and beautiful surroundings.

Nicole was a great host. I enjoyed the space and through a ball with my dog outside. It is a comfortable cabin to spend some time in nature. I loved the pine walls so pretty and cozy. Best, Maureen

Jayme is such a great host! We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay; enjoyed the nature surroundings to the fullest. Jayme is very responsive and friendly whenever we need a suggestion or guidance to explore. This place looks exactly like the pictures and everything is clean and well organized. Warmly recommended to everyone. :)

The cabin was great, parking was a little tricky as it was snowing when we arrived but luckily we brought a shovel with us and after we shoveled a bit of the driveway we were able to get up fine. The cabin was lovely and very cozy for our small family gathering. The kids loved the games and we built a snowman and snow pig. We even took a walk around the neighborhood and found the cutest little stream. All in all the place was great for a weekend get away :)

We LOVED our stay!!! My kiddos can’t stop talking about how much they loved staying at your cabin. It had everything! With a close convenient store & pizzeria/bar. Wished we had stayed more days but we’ll be back soon. Thank you so much for having us!!

Absolutely beautiful place photos don’t do it justice. Fit my family of 8 and Helen was very gracious to allow our senior dog to join us. Very relaxing weekend here and everyone wants to come back. Thank you!

We rented the place for one day but had a amazing day there going after sequía had fun playing with all the boardgames they had and amazing river near by definitely plan coming back for a longer stay

This is a great place to get away and disconnect, would definitely recommend and come back. Host and co host are very friendly and helpful when needed. A great experience overall.

Warm and cozy home. Nicely updated cabin with modern upgrades. Didn't realize 2nd bedroom was detached from the main cabin. Not a big deal, not sure if I missed that detail in the description. Not having to purchase firewood was a nice amenity. Overall a great place and location and would definitely stay again.

The Botanist cabin is such a dream! The location is amazing nestled into the trees, just a few miles from amazing restaurants in Three Rivers and a few miles from the Sequoia National Park entrance. Kelly was a great host, and was so responsive and helpful in answering any of our questions or helping give us some info about using the space, things to do, and checking in on us. We cannot wait to stay here again.
